First
of
all,
Kinship
Landing
is
a
beautiful
hotel
located
in
downtown
Colorado
Springs.
The
rooms
are
cozy
and
modern,
and
the
whole
facility
is
warm
and
welcoming.
Every
staff
member
we
interacted
with
was
friendly.
The
location
is
iffy,
it
is
downtown
and
several
of
the
surrounding
buildings
are
vandalized
and
boarded
up
with
a
large
homeless
population.
We
didn’t
feel
unsafe
or
threatened,
but
it
is
definitely
something
to
be
aware
of
when
booking.
I
liked
that
we
could
text
the
“host”
(front
desk)
for
anything.
I
do
think
they
need
to
freshen
up
their
housekeeping
and
amenities.
We
stayed
5
nights
and
there’s
a
sign
on
the
mirror
stating
that
rooms
(towels,
linens,
etc.)
would
be
refreshed
every
3
days
but
to
let
the
front
desk
know
if
you
needed
anything
before
then.
On
our
3rd
day
the
room
was
not
refreshed,
I
went
downstairs
to
ask
for
wash
rags
and
they
didn’t
have
any.
On
our
fourth
day
I
stripped
the
bed
and
put
all
our
towels
on
the
floor
anticipating
that
housekeeping
would
be
by
to
refresh
our
room.
We
returned
at
5:30
and
everything
was
as
we
left
it.
We
requested
a
refresh
and
the
host
informed
us
that
housekeeping
left
at
4:00
pm
and
they
did
not
have
access
to
the
sheets.
After
asking
twice,
they
finally
gave
us
wash
rags.
Several
of
our
towels
had
holes
in
them
and
some
wash
rags
had
stains
on
them.
Parking
is
also
$16
a
night,
which
seems
a
little
excessive
on
top
of
the
cost
to
stay.
Overall
I
would
say
our
stay
was
good,
I
enjoyed
the
facility
and
the
comfort
of
the
room
but
I
would
like
more
convenience
(clean
sheets,
towels,
wash
rags
available)
when
staying
in
a
hotel.
