I never take the time to review a place we stay at unless it leaves me speechless. I hope this review helps someone on the fence of booking here or not! My husband and I had one of the “ suites”. The room was amazing, soooo clean, (I never say this about hotel rooms) and just such a cozy feel. The location was great for getting to all the big attractions we wanted to. The restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast! The one thing I really wanted to comment on is the staff! There wasn’t one bad encounter with any of them. The restaurant staff and the people checking in and out were so friendly, helpful, and kind. They was so helpful with suggestions and questions we had about the Colorado Springs area and so much more! I felt like we left there with new friends! I’m so very pleased with this stay and hotel! What a wonderful atmosphere they have created here. ❤️

Amazing place! The room was just enough and they thought of everything. Even left us a small gift and thoughtful card for our anniversary! Super comfortable and cozy and functional. Clean and well kept, completely perfect. The staff and downstairs cafe area is such a great, chill place to have a drink or breakfast in the morning. LOVED every second here. Thanks for making it so special.

The Kinship Landing was a decent place. We stayed here while in town for my gf's work function. The rooms were nice and pretty comfortable. The bed was fine. The entire place was very clean and modern. I didn't have much interaction with staff and there weren't many staff as far as I could tell. The location leaves something to be desired. I wasn't ever feeling unsafe, but I could see where other people might feel that way. I'd certainly stay here again if the price was right, but I may look elsewhere first. (Pictured is the view from our room on the west side of the building.)

I recently stayed here as a last minute, one-night trip and had an incredible experience with the women’s shared bunk room. The room was clean and the bed was also clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The bedding and towels were soft and smelled good. A locker is provided for you to store your belongings during your stay. I felt completely safe during my stay and would recommend trying out the shared bunk rooms if you haven’t before! I will definitely be back and bring my friends!

First of all, Kinship Landing is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Colorado Springs. The rooms are cozy and modern, and the whole facility is warm and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly. The location is iffy, it is downtown and several of the surrounding buildings are vandalized and boarded up with a large homeless population. We didn’t feel unsafe or threatened, but it is definitely something to be aware of when booking. I liked that we could text the “host” (front desk) for anything. I do think they need to freshen up their housekeeping and amenities. We stayed 5 nights and there’s a sign on the mirror stating that rooms (towels, linens, etc.) would be refreshed every 3 days but to let the front desk know if you needed anything before then. On our 3rd day the room was not refreshed, I went downstairs to ask for wash rags and they didn’t have any. On our fourth day I stripped the bed and put all our towels on the floor anticipating that housekeeping would be by to refresh our room. We returned at 5:30 and everything was as we left it. We requested a refresh and the host informed us that housekeeping left at 4:00 pm and they did not have access to the sheets. After asking twice, they finally gave us wash rags. Several of our towels had holes in them and some wash rags had stains on them. Parking is also $16 a night, which seems a little excessive on top of the cost to stay. Overall I would say our stay was good, I enjoyed the facility and the comfort of the room but I would like more convenience (clean sheets, towels, wash rags available) when staying in a hotel.

This place is beautiful, very cozy. The rooms are great with a nice view of downtown. The room was very clean, the check in and check out was super easy. Everyone was super nice. And you have to try the Cafe on the first floor it's amazing. Its a great place to hangout or just have dinner after a long day. The food is really good, and there's a great bar selection. If you go down to the Cafe be sure to ask for Graham, he's the best. Graham helped us with any questions we had about the Cafe, and suggestions on food, as well as, made my husband and I a really great drink that was his own creation. Overall we had an amazing experience, and if we ever come back to Colorado Springs we will definitely be coming back here. Great room, great price, great service in my opinion. We were very pleased.

I've only been a patron of the cafe . But I must say it's absolutely marvelous. I line the industrial themed ceilings and the random couches and hanging chairs and such . A really nice and pleasant atmosphere as well . I didn't have food just a bottomless coffee 3.75$ a great deal to hang out and charge my devices as I am traveling through Colorado on my south for the winter ❄️. The staff are really friendly and pleasant folks and this place just in general is kind of eclectic it comes highly recommended when in the Colorado springs area .

Beautiful place to stay. Everything was so clean, and everyone was so nice and helpful. The room was cozy and comfortable. The accommodations were excellent- they had a tap for either sparkling or flat water! The food and drinks from Homa were delicious. The decor was immaculate. I would stay here a thousand times over again. I wish there were Kinship Landings all over the place to stay at!

Our room was SO spacious - we had a room facing West so of course the view was incredible. My biggest annoyance of hotels is always the beds! Typically lumpy and uncomfortable, but the bed we had was so plush and soft, I was actually able to sleep in. Our last night stay we dined in - the BLT was fabulous! Great location, close to all sorts of downtown entertainment, you won’t be disappointed. Will stay here again for sure!

I never leave reviews, but my stay at Kinship Landing this weekend was so wonderful I just have to share. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the food delicious and the service exceptional! I was there for a private event and every part of the experience was top notch. I even hiked after I checked out and was able to store my luggage in a locker and come back to shower before my flight. Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience!

Clean, safe and quiet hostel. The lounge area is great for hanging out or working, and there's a nice cafe and bar on the first floor that is open to the public. The outdoor area has fun for kids and adults alike. Lockers downstairs are super convenient to store your stuff before check in or after check out. Lots to see, do, eat within walking distance. There are convenient bus stops nearby as well. I particularly appreciated that shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a towel are provided at no extra cost. The view of the mountains from the lounge/patio is AMAZING. I look forward to staying here again!

We stayed in a junior suite for a few days. The place has a nice vibe and decor. Room was clean and had a nice view of the mountains. Noise pollution was moderate due to all the traffic so I recommend you bring a sound machine. Room had good amount of storage bins for our belongings. Be aware that you have to pay for parking each day of your stay. Nice patio outside to chill and enjoy some drinks. The bartender at night was really nice and helpful with selecting drinks! We will definitely consider staying at kinship landing on our next trip to Colorado Springs.

Fantastic experience. Such a well-designed, comfortable hotel, with excellent use of space and attention to detail - from the toiletries to the black-out curtains and storage nooks. Service was stand-out, creating a super friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team. We loved our stay.

Cute hotel. There are a few negatives. The beds are super soft. If you want a quiet room, don’t book a Mountain View room, it’s very loud. It may be nice to offer earplugs at check in!. And the coffee isn’t ready downstairs until 7!

We had such an amazing time here visiting Colorado Springs! We got the camping room and rented a tent from REI. The room was well kept, clean, the bathroom was beautiful and overall it was a great experience. Only thing I’ll say is make sure you bring earplugs because the hotel is right on a major street with lots of noisy traffic and it can make it hard to sleep. The food at Homa is fantastic and the staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Finally, the location is a 10-15 min drive do all of our excursions, and walkable to a ton of bars and restaurants. I don’t think it could have been more perfect. We are already looking into a return trip!

This hotel is full of style and a distinct relaxation vibe. The staff are very hospitable and worked with us many times during our stay to help with room changes, questions about local places, and ordering food. It will require a bit of an adjustment to get used to no phones in the room to call the front desk, and the texting system to contact them. In the end, it is efficient. Homa, their café and bar, serves AMAZING foods. I ate The Unusual every day for breakfast...and sometimes dinner too. My husband RAVED about The Club Scout sandwich with fries. I also tried the chickpea salad. It...is...delicious. The location of the hotel leaves a teensy bit to be desired as far as neighborhoods go, but I never felt unsafe. I cannot thank the staff enough for their warm disposition and helpful nature. Being away from home can be overwhelming, but they never added to that stress. I recommend this hotel and would stay again next time I'm in Colorado City!!

The communication from Kinship in advance of our trip was great and I appreciated getting updates via text. The hotel is new and modern and the cafe is a great option for coffee, a drink, or a meal. The view from our room was beautiful but the street noise at night was noticeable. The staff is friendly but pretty hands-off - it’s not a luxury hotel with loads of extra services and amenities. We really enjoyed dinner and drinks in a relaxing environment and there is a fun outdoor area with games, a DJ some nights, and fire pits.

This is an integral piece to the new wave of southern downtown Colorado Springs. Very stylish for an affordable price point. The staff was kind and the rooms were a uniquely fun new experience. It’s located near all of the things I like about this new south-downtown take on Colorado Springs’ development.

This hotel is so beautiful and perfect!!! The gorgeous lobby with plants and cozy seating areas was so inviting! I just wanted to hang out there all day! The service was outstanding! Everyone was so friendly! They gave us great suggestions on where to shop, eat and hike!! Most of the eating and shopping were within walking distance. The hotel is in a great location! The king suite with the garage door and bath tub was so cool! We loved everything about the room! We had to switch rooms to the queen suite mountain view after a few days because that is what was available when we booked, and that room was just as spectacular! The mountain views were so fun to wake up to! Highly recommend a mountain view room! Everything about our stay here was so wonderful! I am super picky when it comes to hotels and I will definitely, 100% stay here again!

This was a very cute boutique hotel with various accommodations options. We stayed here for my sister's graduation. Despite our booking months apart, we ended up with rooms beside each other. I loved that we could get food and drinks in the Lobby. Everything was very good, but it was pretty pricey. Our room was very nice. We had a private balcony. There was no view, it overlooked the parking lot but it was still nice.

This hotel was fabulous. It has a great vibe, great staff, and the Jr Queen City View room was super clean and comfortable. While this hotel was a little pricier than we usually go for, it was definitely worth it. Very pleased with our stay, wish we had spent another night here. We also tried out the cafe on site and had a wonderful dinner (a lighter and healthier option than most of our travel meals) with drinks. We ended up grabbing breakfast (the handpies were tasty) there as well before our Pikes Peak tour.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while! Comfy beds, great pillows, friendly staff. They checked all the boxes. I stayed in the mountain king suite. I highly recommend it. The freestanding tub and in room fireplace were amazing. I will definitely be staying here every time I come through. (Made a goofy video for my wife and thought I’d share)

Fantastic experience! The staff is great, they went above and beyond to make our time there comfortable and easy. Wonderful place to hangout. I came to town and met friends there. It was the perfect place to stay, eat, drink and catch up.

Kinship hotel was fantastic! The pictures & website justify it exactly as it is, which is much appreciated. The vibe of the coffee shop and the entire hotel is great! Exceptionally clean, quiet, and quaint. Adjacent coffee shop/bar/cafe was delicious. Staff were so helpful and kind. I couldn’t recommend it more. Near great restaurants in what seemed like an up and coming part of CO springs! Will recommend and stay again if ever in CO springs!

Absolutely loved my stay at Kinship Landing. Our room was beautiful & clean. But, the best part to me was We had amazing cocktails, a delicious lunch and the staff was so kind & friendly. If you’re looking for a place in Colorado Springs you should definitely stay here- if you can get a room with a view of the mountains even better! Also, I love that it’s within walking distance of so many great restaurants.

WOW! What agreat place and more importantly what a wonderful staff! EVERY staff member hear went well beyond accommodating. I was quite taken aback by the level of personality this staff possessed. So this is not your typical hotel. Has a contemporary European theme mixed with a southwest feel . The room was immaculate and comfortable. Awesome restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed the huge southwest flavors.. Great energy especially at night. Although I did not partake in the evening festive, I caught a glimpse of a really good sounding band and a bunch of super happy patrons.I met one of the owner Nate who helped me with a small medical issue I had. This hotel could literally not have done a better job. A must stay! Keep up the great work Kinship!

The room was wonderful with a balcony. The beds were great. First time staying downtown. Little difficult to find the alley behind the hotel for parking.

I stayed one night in the king suite and would give the room 3 stars. I would not book again. First there are no outlets by the bed. For a modern room that is unacceptable. Also you cannot access the bedside shelves without rolling out of bed or standing up. There is no shelf that is positioned correctly. Second the blackout curtain provided is not sufficient. The rod is curved but the curtain is not physically wide enough. Hence the room was EXTREMELY bright in the morning to the point that I had to dig out a sleeping mask at 5:30am. Positives: 1) Great location! Could walk to many restaurants and bars 2) Nice Tuft & Needle mattress (very soft) and soft pillows 3) Fun garage door window you can open 4) Good service - I requested extra towels via text and they were delivered within 10 minutes

This was a hotel recommended by an event I have as attending. It is a really cute niche hotel in Colorado springs. Restaurant on site, and plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area. The best part of the hotel is the people. They are friendly, helpful, and professional. They make you feel welcome. Will recommend and will return to the hotel

My stay was amazing. The room was so unique and clean. Overall setting was very hip. The communications made the experience so welcoming. This location is a real asset to the community and a wonderful first impression for anyone visiting the area.

I chose this hotel, and was willing to pay a higher nightly rate because I thought it was special and unique. I was wrong! There is nothing special or unique to justify the price. The room is very small. The cleaning people had to come and clean the room again because there was hair on the sink. The air filter is filthy. The room looks like it hasn't been mopped, there is hair in the corner. No complimentary water, nothing. I do not recommend this place.

Loved my stay here. Beds were very nice, especially appreciated the curtains. Enjoyed the bar downstairs- really great signature drinks and staff. Beautiful downstairs space. I can't wait to stay here again.

Really unique hotel! Love the cabin like feel and it's definitely better for people who are solo or couples as the tub is right in front of the bed. Cool bar/Cafe on the first floor and big seating area if you need to get work done

I stayed for one night in one of the shared bunk rooms and it was outstanding!! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the space was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was a little worried about finding parking in a city I’ve never been to but it couldn’t have been easier! There were tons of spots right next to the property and you can download the parking app and pay from anywhere. You can pay for several hours at a time or even the whole day, it was super simple. 10/10!!

What a great place. It is a little pricey, but welcoming, fun, central to cool things to do in Colorado Springs, and dog friendly. We just crashed overnight on a quick trip, but we got good rest, had a nice view, and the food from the kitchen was surprising in its quality. Highly recommended.

Every aspect is well thought out. It was such a unique experience and you can really feel this hotel is more than a hotel- it's part of the community. The rooms were great and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at Kinship!

Great place to stay in downtown Colorado Springs. The prices are super reasonable and the rooms are GREAT. You know how sometimes your hotel room is really nice, but you still don't really want to spend time in there because it's a hotel room? Well these are not like that at all. Super comfortable and nice to hang out it. You can forget you're in a hotel! Definitely check it out!

I stayed at the Kinship for a business trip and it was perfect. The room was amazingly clean and fresh. The stuff absolutely welcoming, the barman a master at creating drinks and the food was spot on. Hospitality and going above and beyond is how I would describe Kinship. I'm absolutely returning on my next trip to Colorado Springs!

  • 5/5 Robert B. 1 year ago on Google
I would not usually give five stars after having to move rooms because of a cranky thermostat. However, all the staff - from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the management were super kind, helpful, and thoughtful and ultimately got us back into a Mountain View room for a night. The rooms are cute and cozy, the food and drinks are great, and the staff are warm hearted and pleasant. The location is super convenient for walking the downtown area for shopping, eating, and people watching.

Great hotel. I was in the king suite. Awesome window and fireplace. I loved the look of the room. I feel the hotel could have provided more towels and coffee in the room, particularly for people who are staying more than one night. The room was also very dusty and the inside of the toilet bowel looked as if it had never been cleaned. Overall a pretty good room, but not as clean as I expected for $300 a night.

I set expectations with them with complete transparency and they adhered to them with the utmost communication with the utmost respect. I would enjoy booking with them again and get pampered and adored from them again with their services. Lindsay Pertsov held one of my concerns with the utmost respect and compassion. Definitely, a hotel to check on South Nevada. She made my day today and made me exhibit joy in my emotions and tied back the value with my concern by meeting set mutual expectations with a extreme sense-of urgency for her business and the services she provides. I appreciate the aspects she exhibits into her career role and looking forward to being a consumer with her in the near future ,once again. Thank you Kinship Landing, they exhibit very crucial traits needed in a business . - Love, Ma-non Mcknight.
