I just sat for a couple hours on an elbow piece and I can’t say enough about how awesome it was. The shop is awesome. The vibes were awesome. I got my tattoo done by Clayton and I am so stoked about it. Favorite tattoo I have for sure. Highly recommend Clayton and Westside Tattoo. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Christian was my tattoo artist and she absolutely killed it. Her attention to detail and overall line work skill blew me away. I will be showing this off forever! This process requires so much trust and Christian took my tattoo seriously and executed it exactly how I wanted. I am so happy with this tattoo and that I chose West Side! I will be back!

My boyfriend and I both got tattoos here about 2 weeks ago. His was done by Juan and mine by Chris. We love them so much and will definitely get more if we go out there again!

Melek is far and away the best tattoo artist in existence. The time and detail she puts into her work is unmatched. Brian was great to work with and ensured that I got the design I wanted. After having tattoos at several other top rated shops in the Springs, I can say that West Side is the best and is now the only place I will go. Thanks for a great experience from start to finish.

Carl is awesome!!! He did what I was hoping for and more!! I couldn't be happier with my experience!! West Side Tattoo is a cool place too! All of the staff were very friendly, reception woman welcomed me nicely, and some of the staff joined in the room for some good conversation throughout the process. My Tattoo is a great representation of my Family name and a tribute to my Mother, whom passed recently.

My artist was Amanda and she did an amazing job! She worked quickly but did not compromise on the quality of her work! This was my first ever tattoo and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience I will definitely be coming back

Today is my birthday and we walked in to see if I could get some ink. Brian the owner said they were booked but would call if they could get me in. Lucky for us they called 30 minutes later saying they could get me in. We showed Juan what I wanted and he made a sketch and provided great feedback. He took me back and explained everything as this was my first tat. He added his special touch and I love it. Great experience. Thanks for a memorable birthday.

Always a great experience. Carl has done multiple small pieces for me over many years. He’s also done my boyfriend’s smaller piece and he will be going back for his larger pieces in a few weeks. My sister has also had him seamlessly continue a cherry blossom vine by hand without a stencil or reference that was done by another artist. He’s traced/drawn by hand at every appointment and I’m always so impressed by the precision. He is so quick and efficient during appointments which makes for a great artist for first timers too. The shop is clean and has great service from start to finish. This shop has improved greatly over the years and I’m glad they’ve added Carl to their team.

I've never gotten a tattoo and had not been inside a studio before, so this is a raw, first-timer's impression; I was there with a family member who was getting his first ink. The facility is attractive and well located; the staff mostly engaging and professional. I say "mostly" because we were left alone, waiting, for considerable lengths of time with no explanation multiple times during our visit. First, after a brief introduction, our artist vanished for well over a 1/2-hour to make his own sketches, even though we had supplied digital files containing exactly what we wanted done. Is this customary? I couldn't say. Once the work started, there were more breaks, prefaced with little more than, "I'll be back in a few minutes." This was disconcerting for several reasons, not the least of which was my constant awareness that we were being charged by the hour. In the end, we were there for four hours, we were charged for two (which felt fair; it was a 3"-5" piece on the forearm, and the artist did put in 2 hrs of work), and the recipient was very pleased. I should add that our artist stayed well past closing time - with the shop's full cooperation - in order to finish the job. During that time, we perused samples on the wall and in portfolios that each artist has near their station, as my wife is considering getting her first ink. We did not see much in the samples that matched what my wife wants, so we will likely not return if and when she decides to go for it, but her son is quite pleased, and I don't mean to say that there's generally any reason not to make the trip. We were confused noobs who ended up with a positive experience; definitely give this place a chance.

I received a memorial tattoo in honor of my late husband from Carl Sanders. Carl also did my edelweiss tattoo 3 months ago. Carl was so sweet and kind throughout the tattoo. He listened as I told the story of how my husband, who died too young, died. My husband's last EKG will now be a part of me forever. Thank you so much for my beautiful tattoo in honor of my husband and my edelweiss tattoo. See you in a couple months.

This was my first MAJOR tattoo that was a cover up! I am beyond thrilled of the outcome and very happy with the tattoo artist as well! Carl did an amazing job and I can't thank him enough! Everyone else was super friendly also! Awesome people in there! Definitely recommend and will be going back! :)

Me and my sister walked in for tattoos, and they said they couldn’t get us in right away but that they would call and let us know. They called a couple hours later and got me and my sister done very quick! Our tattoo artist Carl was amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience at West Side! It was my 2nd time there. I have been inked by both Vicky & this time Hannah. Both are extremely professional & created beautiful, original designs for me. They both have a very gentle touch & my latest tattoo is healing perfectly so far. I am very pleased! The studio itself is large & clean, which is also super nice.

I just completed my tattoo with Amanda from West Side Tattoo. It was an awesome experience. I was welcomed immediately and everyone was extremely helpful. Amanda was attentive and helpful as we made some adjustments to my tattoo design. She answered all my questions as she provided her expertise and experience. I was lucky enough to snag a walk-in on a Saturday, and this is one of the coolest tattoo shops I’ve ever been too. Super clean, spacious, lots of natural light. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and accommodating, and provided great service. My tattoo artist, Juan, was super cool about fitting me in as a walk-in, drew up a design that matched exactly what I wanted, and knocked it out with perfect execution. This is the best, most accommodating shop I’ve ever been to. My artist, Clayton, not only took on a difficult request, but made it an enjoyable experience despite me having a panic attack at the start. The reception staff was so welcoming and great. I will never go to a different shop for additional art. Five stars for every aspect of my experience today.

Really enjoyed our experience here. The facility was clean, comfortable and professional. This was our first time at this shop and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Our original artist went home before our appointment since she was under the weather, however, they immediately made accommodations and rescheduled us with Christian for our tattoos. I really appreciate Brian’s communication with us, and finding a different artist in such a short amount of time who could provide the style we were looking for. Christian worked with us quickly and efficiently to make sure we could get our tattoos done and delivered my sister and I a beautiful matching piece that we are super proud of! Definitely recommend Christian for black and grey/fine line tattoos, and definitely recommend this shop. 💛
