Really great underground bar with a pretty awesome vibe late at night if you have a good crowd. Plenty of drink selections, with a combination of beer and variety of cocktails. Half of the cocktails are classics the other half are rotated out seasonally and are worth checking out! Very friendly bar staff that will help you make a selection if you're not sure. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere here is really cool, and the drink menu is excellent, everything I had from here was great, BUT this is not really a place to go if you want to be able to hold a conversation. It is a relatively small space with some really loud music blaring most of the time. The music choice was great but, I'm trying to talk with my friends, if I wanted a concert I'd go to one. Still a great choice for some excellent drinks and a dark, moody, weirdly classy aesthetic.

This is the best cocktail bar in Colorado Springs, especially if someone is visiting from out of town and you want to show them something special. The bartenders are amazing and they really know their drinks. You can buy the drink menus too which is a great way to bring home all the classic recipes they offer and is a unique memento for a good night out.

This place should be a 3 out of 5. Rated a 1 here to help the average. 1. Music too loud. 2. Staff doused in cologne taking away from any flavor the cocktail may have. 3. Cocktail glasses have a mildew smell of being wiped with a dirty rag. 4. Air conditioning running too cold. 5. Cocktail balance off (good n plenty). Too much Anise, too sweet. 6. Informed the server that the cocktail balance was off, said he would get the bartender to come over to discuss. Bartender never came over. No discount or remake offered.

I visited the Archives for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was a Friday night around 7, and there was a buzz about the place, but still plenty of space to find seating. The atmosphere is nice, dim lighting and fairly quiet since it's not a big place. The cocktails are unique and fun, and the place has a speakeasy vibe to it which is fun. You can tell they take a lot of pride in hand-crafting their cocktails. Usually, I feel snobby or high-maintenance when asking about what bourbons a place carries, but they have a lovely variety of spirits and can handle a picky drinker with ease. They also use the correct cherries in their drinks, which makes my heart happy ;) Our server, Emily, was really great! She let me move tables when I got cold and checked on me while I was waiting for my friend to arrive. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We weren't sure what to order as far as food, and asked for her opinion. She recommended the loaded tots, which were delicious!

Looking for a great cocktail bar? Well this gem has the vibe the food and the people all in one! They never disappoint weather I order my favorite cocktail or they recommend one from the menu. the music is always good and the energy is always up. The service was great checking on us during or time there. I will definitely be back to try other menu options in the future.

I enjoy this place. It's chill, kind of poorly lit that helps so no one notices my thinning hair or nasal hair easily and the cocktails are pretty darn good. The drinks are strong and you start looking more attractive towards closing time.

My wife and I brought in friends from out of town 7-25 and were very impressed. Food was great but the drinks were better. We stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for 4 rounds. The bartender Abby was an excellent, very talented and gave some great recommendations on the menu and things to do in the area. It warmed my wife’s heart too see her interacting so kindly with a hearing impaired guest in the peak of her rush. Superb service and hospitality at the archives will be back!

Went last night for the first time and we weren't disappointed. The pork green chili fries were amazing. Elevated and fresh with tons of flavor. Spicy and savory all at once :) Huge cocktail selections available. Clean and modern atmosphere is inviting with fast and friendly service. The bartender who's name eludes me had a warm and friendly demeanor and made us feel welcome. He told us of the amazing staff and the things they were coming up with for the kitchen. Excited to come back and try more deliciousness.

I have no idea where the real entrance is to this place! I wandered into the alley and someone told me to go down the steps and through the kitchen. I don't think that's the main entrance but anyways... awesome place! Ended up at the bar so was able to watch the bartenders and all their tricks (e.g., throwing bottles in the air) and innovative drinks. I didn't order anything from the menu, just asked them to create concoctions. Would definitely return!

Ok let me start by saying I am so sad I can not remember our waiter/bartender's name, he was awesome! When I could not decide what I wanted (It had been a long afternoon of bar hopping) I just said something nice with vodka. What he brought me was so smooth and just so tasty I wish I had remembered to ask what was in it. He also brought one of my friends a Whisky Drink that had an amazing aroma and might be the only whisky I have ever tasted, that i actually liked. I love the way this bar was down some stairs and seemed really secretive. There was a little hint if you walk down the right alley/side road. Will absolutely be back to this bar the next time i am in town!

Located underneath a restaurant, this fun speakeasy-style bar provides a unique space to enjoy unique drinks. Bartenders were great. They were fast, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. The menu is really cool, it's basically a recipe book which lists all the drinks' ingredients. I went for a mai thai and tried a beer off their decent beer list. The mixed drink was well-mixed and the beer was well-poured. This is a very relaxing space to grab a late night drink.

Excellent cocktails with made from scratch ingredients. Great service. A bit spendy but worth it if you want to drink real craft cocktails. Gets very crowded so get there early or plan to wait a bit.

My first experience at a Colorado speakeasy. The drinks were good. The food (pork queso) arrived quickly, was flavorful, but was lukewarm. Nice decor; music was pretty loud.

I'm not the kind of person to ever ask for a refund but I considered asking for one here. Went there for a date night, we each ordered a cocktail and some nachos that were really good. However, our entres were terrible. I ordered the salmon which tasted like it came from a dirty fish tank and luckily I only took two bites. My boyfriend's lamb burger was excessively gamey (eventhough he eats gamey meats often). We were so disappointed we decided to go home shortly after eating and glad we did because he immediately threw up his food. I fed my dog my remaining salmon. The concept of the food was good but they are cutting corners with the ingredients and definitely over charging. Recommend going there for the cocktails only.

Amazing atmosphere, great cocktails, good music. The bartenders really seem to enjoy their job and know what they are doing. Besides that, they always have a moment to chat with the guests, help pick a cocktail and make you feel welcome. I have been going to this place for the past 2 years, and it is my number one go-to-bar in all of Colorado Springs! It's a great place for a first date, a night out with a bigger group of friends, or just sitting at the bar by yourself and having a drink after work. I can highly recommend their fries and any of their gin cocktails.

Last night they had their 5 years in business anniversary party and it was pretty busy but Shayne, Abbey and Chris crushed it like always! Self explanatory drink menu, knowledgeable staff, skilled bartenders, dark enclosed bar area with speakeasy vibes. Great place for a date or a small group outing. The drinks were great and not the expected drink specials you see everywhere.

Me and my bf went here yesterday and had a great experience! The bartender (who I can’t remember his name unfortunately) was great, super friendly, had great conversation, and made me the best cocktail I’ve ever had! He mentioned he wanted to get that recipe on the summer menu and i definitely think that should happen! The atmosphere is very comfortable and it’s just a cool place all around. Would definitely be a regular here if I lived closer! Can’t wait to come back!

Great drinks. Great vibe. A little slow, looked like only two bartenders/ waiters working maybe 7 people sitting at the bar and 10-15 in the sitting area. We’ll definitely go back when in town again. We sat for a solid 5-10 minutes before someone took our order. We’ve experienced that at other places in the springs so idk. Maybe it was just that weekend.

I wish I could remember the bartender's name because he was awesome. He was closing the bar on 11/23. This dude was the most knowledgeable, friendly, enjoyable bartender I've had in years. My wife's Tom Collins was so good she said "Is this what they're supposed to taste like?!" I literally spent more money just because my wife and I were enjoying talking to him. That guy is a business owner's dream employee. Rock on dude 🤙

Finding this hidden little gem is fun. The menus have a lot of classic cocktails and they are expertly crafted. The bartenders here are highly experienced in their profession. If you are not sure of what you want, chat with one of the bartenders and they are sure to provide you with something that will satisfy you. Also, the food available here is great too if you want to grab a bite.

True gem of downtown Colorado springs! The bartender shane was phenomenal. The five year itch was a aromatic but balanced libation.. any mezcal fan would be missing out without having one.

Had an awesome experience here. As a mixologist myself the drinks were incredible classic's and new creations that I loved. RJ the bartender was super personable and great talking to. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a good cocktail and good company.
