The food was good and my family and I enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The wait time was long although the place was only half full, I assumed they were under staffed. Over all, we would go back again.

Went on a Monday night and it was a very unpleasant experience. Hamburger had no flavor (and also nothing on it, just a patty and bun, even though I only said no onion), steak was dry. Mozzarella sticks were decent but the boneless wings were just okay. I don't think we will be returning to Applebee's again. Our server was friendly but we had to wait a long time for utensils and napkins, we also requested A1 sauce and never got it.

It took forever on everything just to have my steak overcooked and dry. My mom chicken tender was overcooked and hard. We waited on our server to bring more drinks for over 10 minutes. The SAD part about it, we were over charged because they didn't have the fried onions that comes with my dinner so I asked for sauteed onions to replace them, they charged me for them. They were not busy at all, it was less than 20 customers in the restaurant. We will not be returning any time soon. Glad they got Longhorns in Grovetown !!!

Always love hitting up happy hour and of course having my daughter wait on me as she is a waitress there. Food most of the time is good, drinks as well. I've never had a bad experience with any of the wait staff..all have been friendly and sweet to us.

I decided to try them again. My wife and I order the 2 for $25 special! Hey good was supposed to come out sizzling and hot, not that day. The food took over 20 minutes, ten minutes before half off appetizers. The waiter didn't want to make my current appetizers apart of the Happy hour special So I was not, happy or special. The waitress was not friendly and even occasionally for got to check on us or offer silver wear upon seating my family. Left a $10.00 top for crappie service!

To start, as I walk in the hostess was annoyed of people walking in asking to be seated so i sat at the bar and the servers are arguing passive aggressively towards each other I'm assuming because the place was a little busy and they were probably behind. I ordered soup, waited 10 minutes for a water another 15 for a cup of soup which was the wrong one. Then I got my meal, the shrimp were salty and rubbery, the noodles were hard and undercooked, and the broccoli was just mooshy and overcooked. The Alfredo was just heavy cream and no flavor. The garlic bread was greasy and hard. For the amount of money paid you could go just about anywhere and as far as the service it was poor and unprofessional. I had to ask and remins for my water, for silverware, for my check, youre better off taking your money elsewhere, or at least go in with very low expectations as it is a huge Mediocre franchise.

The food was nothing like it use to be. Signature favorites such as Riblet & Chicken finger basket no longer on the menu. Fries were too salty for what I ordered. The drinks were watered down.... the overall Applebee's experience just ISN'T like it used to be. The service was good due to the location and despite our server being over worked. She still was polite and accommodating.

My husband and I went to Applebee’s last night to get some late night drinks. We were greeted by Gabe the hostess who didn’t allow us to be seated, due to a party of 25 who had already been there for some time.I noticed that there were several empty booths and tables on one side. We were told that there would be an hour and a half wait to be seated. We explained to Gabe that we only wanted drinks. Gabe went on to say two staff members were arguing and the cooks walked out, because of that we were not able to be served. My husband and I gathered that it was to much melanin in the restaurant. We looked around and there were only people with melanated skin.We tried several different ways to reassure Gabe that we only wanted to have a drink. He was not hospitable of our service. At this point my husband and I peacefully left. This incident didn’t sit well with us, so I contacted the manager. She was very apologetic even offering a free meal. I explained it was not about the free meal but more about the principle. My main concern is for the staff to be trained on sensitivity training which requires them to understand not to stereotype anyone based on race, gender or religion.

6 years ago, I swore I would never return to this particular location. Before that time, service was horrendous, drinks were just okay, and food was a complete hit and miss. And did I mention that service was horrendous!? Fast forward to today and we decided to give it one more try. Well, we are glad we did. Atmosphere and vibe was great, hostess was attentive and our waitress, Kimberly, was great. Our drinks were never empty, she continually checked on us, and was FRIENDLY! The food was good. I am definitely returning once again. Last note: happy hour everyday 3-6pm and 9–close.

I've been here maybe twice in the last 10 years and their is a reason why. I tried 6 months ago or so the boneless wings terrible awful disgusting never do it again. Tonight I tried the shrimp and baby back ribs. The coleslaw and fries were the better part of the meal and that's sad. Eating the ribs reminded me of a hot dog like pressed meat around little rib bones. There was no real taste to them I had the honey barbecue. I was looking forward to the shrimp thinking that it's hard to mess up shrimp but these were like little battered rocks with little bit of meat inside of them. I made myself eat them because I don't like to waste food. My review is only a reflection of the food at Applebee's and not the staff or the location.

I ordered a fried chicken salad to go. The salad was horrible. A few pieces of lettuce and some chopped tomatoes. The dressing was actually packed in the container on top of my salad. That doesn’t seem to be that sanitary to me. Anyway. the salad and its whole presentation killed my appetite.

I’m generally not a fan of restaurants like this, but been here 4-5 times over the last 6 months because my daughter likes it. We’ve never gone at peak times, but tend to go before lunch/dinner crowds hit. Never had a bad experience. Place is always clean, staff are always friendly, and food is good. Jeanna is an awesome waitress. She’s helped us a few times now and she always impresses - friendly, prompt, and professional. Food was a bit slow on the last visit, but we didn’t mind because they explained they were understaffed.

Sadly, the worst experience I've had here. Obviously short staffed, open tables but no staff to run them, 35 minute wait to sit. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly but was running to at least ten different tables all on her own. I felt bad she was put in this position, angry customers, food going out, taking orders, filling drinks and giving checks to cash people out. So the whole experience lasted 4 long hours, got there at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant until after 9pm. She came by and asked my son if he needed a refill on his tea three different times and then never brought it. My son and I decided to get the two dinners and the appetizer special. When I finally received my check I realized I had been charged full price for the appetizer instead of it being applied to the special. "No problem, it can be fixed." Except that we had to wait another 40 minutes for her to come get the check, so I point out the issue, of course she apologized and said she would fix it. Sadly, we had to wait another 32 minutes for her to come back and run my card so we could finally leave 4 1/2 hours later. I know she was trying her absolute best and sadly she suffered for it. No one should be put in the position to handle all of those tables by themselves. Not sure what the issue was that night, but that woman was a trooper and delt with much more than her pay grade that night. She deserves a pay raise and more appreciation.

Have eaten at this Applebees many times and always use my vet discount this time after receiving our food and eating i go to pay and give them both my id and card and she comes back with the bill and disappeared i sign my receipt and notice no discount. Try and ask about it and they acted like my id didnt matter. Wont be back to this location.

My order was simple and easy to make. It was hot and ready at the exact estimated pick up time. The waitress was very pleasant, courteous, and professional.

We ordered the pretzel bites with cheese and honey mustard. One of the pretzel sticks came back burnt, and my mom asked for a different one. The same burnt one came back, so my mom asked again for a non-burnt stick. The manager comes to our table upset that we sent the second one back. She came with a pretzel on a plate trying to explain the pretzels come to the store already with the burnt marks on them, the one she showed us did not have any dark burnt areas!! The manager pushed the issue with my mom, making our dinner tense and unwelcoming. My mom asked politely not to bring that out to our table, which the manager did anyway, pushing the issue farther. Creating unnecessary drama. Everyone tried to put on a brave face, but the manager should've stood down and conceded to the guest. We started coming here because of the fire at the Evan's restaurant. Our first time here, our waitress Kaylee was awesome, very friendly.

Truly a no fail decision when chosing a good place to eat. Service is always good. And so is the food. Family friendly atmosphere. Always clean. Just one tweek needed, please stop burning the ribs. The flavor is spot on perfect. But that burnt takes away a tounge pleasing experience. Other than that, no complaints.😃

What a great place. Love the food service and atmosphere. Honestly they have brought the game way back up since covid. My last dine in visit a while ago was so awful (due to the server.) But the food was A rate and delicious. So I decided not to review the restaurant because of an inexperienced employee. But all that has changed back to good service experience. Even though my riblets were burnt when they first gave me my call in order, they corrected the problem right away. I rejected compensation for having to wait on an order I'd called in. Free bees for me are not always necessary. As long as they make the correction. And people that they did. Perfect flavor and freshness made the wait worth while. Tastiest riblets I ever ordered here. Front door staff professional and attentive. I Will be coming again🙂

Today is the 20 Fourth of July 2022. It is about 9:30 PM and I came here to Applebee’s to have dinner. My server was Tiffany and she did an absolutely wonderful job as my server. I am a commercial truck driver I run coast to coast from time to time I will stop and have a bite to eat at Applebee’s because they are open later in the evening than most food establishments. Tiffany went above and beyond the call of duty tonight and give me the best service I’ve ever had at an Applebee’s. Thank you Tiffany and I hope that I will be able to visit again in the future. Thank you!

Very smooth experience, even with new staff members running the host stand. We were seated quickly and our waitress was a delight. She was very quick with refills and such, and brought us our appetizers and meals promptly. Overall, 9/10.

The food was nice, we really enjoyed the new waffle fries appetizer and i was excited to see the nachos making a comeback (ive missed them for years and really want to try them!) the sweet tea was nicely made and fresh. However the fountain drink needed maintaining.. Entrees were enjoyable!

There was a 10-15 minute wait for 2. Understandable since it seemed they were short staffed. However, they had 3 greeters that were just standing around and having conversations. It took a while to order food as bartender was our waitress but was doing her best. Food was mediocre. I had ribs and fries...ribs were tough. My daughters order was wrong but they fixed it. Overall...an okay experience but not in a hurry to return.

First off the server was horrible and rude! I ordered the Bahama Mama frozen drink which was tasteless. It was just colored frozen ice, didn’t taste nothing like ingredients that was supposed to be in it. When I complained to waitress (Megan) I believe that’s her name. Her response was what do you want me to do about it while shrugging her shoulders, and then went on to say “I mean what do yo expect it’s a frozen drink. I can’t take it off, only management can. I told her I’ll like to see manager. Manager did apologize and removed drink from our bill. Second problem food was cold when it came out, none of our food came out together. I waited 30 minutes for my drink to be refilled. Had to ask for napkins because we were never given any. Server never even came and checked on us to see if we needed anything! She finally showed up at the end when she brought the bill. That was the last straw, I definitely will NOT be spending my hard earn money at this location again. So I’m giving 2 stars because manager was nice, he’s the one who end up bringing me a refill on drink and napkins. Sad part this has happened on more than one occasion with my family and I at this location.

Enjoyed our dinner. Had a one of the best waiters ever. I hate that I didn't get his name. Really enjoyed it.

After an exhausting drive...Applebee's was a welcomed watering trough . The wonton tacos 🌮 were delicious. This was my first time trying them. It was love at first bite. The chicken broccoli alfredo was good my husband added extra alfredo sauce. He never liked anything but loved this alfredo. Oh and he loved their sweet tea. He even got a sweet tea to go. I will return.

A much better experience today. The food was delicious! Had the ribeye and it was cooked just right. The waiter did a good job but his hair was in his eyes and he kept throwing his head back to get it out of his eyes 👀. He also had a go tee with no covering on it.

My husband and I decided to go here instead of Longhorns for date night this time and when we arrived we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. I gave the hostess my name, party number, and contact number then proceeded to go back to the car and wait for them to call us to our table. We sit and wait for not 30 minutes, but 50 minutes and when I called inside to see an updated ETA since we had been there for almost an hour, I got told that there were still 3 more people ahead of us. Mind you over HALF the restaurant seating areas were EMPTY and there were no other souls in sight waiting to be seated except the ones that came up after we had waited well over our 30 minutes. I don't know what was going on, if the staff just didn't want to do their jobs or what, but I am highly disappointed. They shouldn't give time frames if they aren't going to adhere to them. We arrived a little before 8pm, ABANDONED our reservations at another restaurant closer to home to come eat here, passed up our usual date night spot (Longhorns) and at 10:30pm I still have yet to receive a call saying our table was ready. I honestly wonder if they planned to seat us at all. I can tell you one thing, I won't ever come back to this location again. We ended up at McAlister's. Not my first choice of backup, but we were famished and it was late so we needed something. I will leave this review here for the public to see and I will also be emailing a copy to corporate and posting on their FB page as well.
