So I enjoyed my stay okay. I think the service was far above average. The rooms aren't equip with anything more than linens and towels. I don't believe this is even a 3 star hotel yet, but it doesn't have mold, and apparently, in the price we were looking for that's a big deal! The rooms are being slowly remodeled, and we got an old one. The highway is loud thru the wall. And the beds are very rickety. All of that said. I would stay here again in a pinch. The value is worth it if you need a place to lay down.

If you like noise and on a budget this is the best. The owner he is respectful, kind, and loving. He told us on the spot that the place is renovating. The only thing is there no hot breakfast, The wifi was 3 bar which not that bad just need to improve. Everything else I felt like family. I would come back next time. (There a washer and dryer ice machine)

Rick did everything in his power to make our stay nice. The hotel is in renovations but for the price and service. It was great.

We had to get a hotel for the night on the way camping because of rain. The low price made me very skeptical but I am VERY pleased with our room. Clean and Comfortable beds, hot shower and pet friendly with a big field to walk the pup. Rick was very friendly accommodating! I appreciate everything. Would recommend!

Exactly what I expected for the price. Anyone that complains about this place is probably bougie. Great service by what I'm guessing were the owners. Clean room. Did exactly what we needed it to do which was have a bed and shower under a roof. Location could be better but they can't help that. Would stay again, Thank you!

The rooms downstairs are remodeled and we had very new beds. Good water pressure in the shower, double sinks. The room was very nice for the economical price. Walking distance to food and convenience stores. Very close to the interstate.

To (owner) or (Management ) room 101 has a faulty door handle, it can still be opened when it's locked!. I meant to bring it to your attention but we were late leaving an I forgot . Also we paid for a room with a jetted tub, it didn't work. :( Loved the stay, friendly and clean!

Clean and quiet. It is not all beautiful on the outside but that is irrelevant to our needs or desires. We stopped when traveling I-75. After thoroughly reading reviews of other local hotels we chose this one! There was no coffee in the rooms or anything extra but the crisp clean beds and shower are more than enough to suffice a good nights rest. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations. Dog friendly with a $15 charge which is very reasonable in comparison to the others. We saw NO BUGS the whole evening or next day. The only thing is it's close to the interstate so we heard traffic slightly but it was very tolerable. No people lingering around outside making noise or disturbing guests.

This motel is the best around. The staff is very kind and friendly. We have stayed here twice in different rooms and loved it both times. Well worth the money, and the location is superb! You can get to any dining you'd like in a short drive. It's so close to Texas Roadhouse that you could walk if you really wanted to. They have vending and laundry available to guests. It is about 30 minutes to the clear water springs in the area and 30 from big shoals state park where you can hike the river. The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the owner makes sure you are taken care of. We will be coming back!

Pleasant family own place. Still being renovated but nothing that kept me from enjoying my stay. Felt very safe enough in the area to go for a walk.

This definitely isn't a 5 star hotel and when you're coming down the road that it's on you will find yourself not sure what you're going to find but the place is clean, quiet and inexpensive. The service was fast and friendly. If you need a hotel on a budget in the Lake City area this is an excellent choice.

My family and I left and needed somewhere to go from the hurricane and they were able to get us three rooms next to each other so we could all be together. Very clean. Thank you to the staff!!

Get what you pay for. Somewhat off to it's self. Plus side you're walking distance to a Texas Roadhouse and Emergency Room. Good location but..visually unappealing and never got our deposit back though after power went quit answering emails.

This is one of the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed at in lake City FL clean rooms nice beds good tv excellent customer service. I recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a hotel while there in lake City FL..👍

Nice older budget hotel with spacious, yet cozy rooms. You can tell the owners are working on updates. Very quiet and clean and EXCELLENT water pressure! Will definitely stay here again!

Me an my son came in for a week it was moderately priced the woman at the desk was nice. But the whole week there was never any housekeeping we didn't receive any new bed sheets or towels an after 1 night I noticed the bed sheets on the bed had a nasty smell to them I brought it to their attention again I asked for clean sheets an they said they didn't have any at the moment I spent over 500 for the week I will never pay for that motel again beware of the maintenance men there they are down right rude an they love to gossip about there tenants to other tenants no professionalism at all

The rooms are cheap but look nice for the price. Dont expect room service there isnt any and the spot is horrible because your right beside the highway so there is no view at all. All and all not a bad place to stop in if your short on budget and traveling.

Wonderful customer service Rick is an awesome and honest owner , pet friendly with a big field to walk your fur baby’s . Over all clean and a great value.Definitely recommend 100% reliable and budget friendly we enjoyed the stay. We will definitely stop by anytime we need a good nights rest .

This is an excellent LOCALLY OWNED Inn, we enjoyed our stay very much! If you are looking for something affordable and clean, this is a great option. They are still improving and renovating this place, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable- the two things that matter. Would highly recommend over the many run down and unclean hotels nearby. Support local businesses!

Rick was very helpful and accommodating to our last minute requests. The rooms were definitely better than I expected. 4/10 Update - this should have been 5 stars! Apologies on the mis-rating!!

I had purchased an updated King room for 3 nights four days ahead of time and was told by a woman over the phone that the room would be on the ground floor. I arrived at 3:30 pm and was told that I had a second floor room. I have a bad back, but they didn't have any other rooms available, and I was okay with it. I was in the room for the rest of the afternoon through the evening. I didn't notice any bugs or anything in the room, but I never checked the bed. I sat down on the bed at 2am (about to get ready for bed) when I felt something crawling on my leg. It looked almost like a tick. I had a bad feeling, so I used the light on my phone to check the bedspread. There were bedbugs all over it. Fully grown. I freaked out. I grabbed all of my stuff, packed my car up, and went to the front desk. I explained to the man behind the counter that I needed a refund because there were bedbugs all over the bed. He tried to argue with me and said that I was only saying this because I wanted to change rooms. That the rooms had already been sprayed for bedbugs. I adamantly told him no. That I had video and pictures of the bugs. He complained, but he did give me a refund for my entire stay. I now have to sleep in my car until tomorrow afternoon when I can get into another hotel room at 2pm check-in.

I was there for a quick overnight stay. Understood the only room left was not remodeled however, the entire tub and surrounding was black, water didn’t drain in tub, big hole in the bathroom wall. Bed was clean so that was a plus. I can’t say for the price it was worth it because down the street for $10 more the rooms are updated and bathrooms are not black with holes. Would not recommend.
