Google
mapped
this
place
because
of
the
beaches
i
could
see
on
satellite...
Was
NOT
disappointed..
it's
off
the
beaten
path
so
you
drive
through
wetlands
across
a
dike
,
look
for
osprey,
herons,
bald
eagles
and
geese
on
your
way
in...
Amazing..
not
crowded
when
i
got
there...
I
PAID
MY
$5
without
bitching
about
it,
who
ARE
YOU
PEOPLE
complaining
about
it!?!?!?
it's
$5...
Sauvies
is
$10!!!
SHEESH..
Oh
yeah,
fold
the
freaking
envelope
so
it
fits
the
slot....
Not
that
difficult!!!
DRIVE
10
mph....
Not
difficult
at
all...
gravel
road-lived
on
one
for
over
40
years,
keeps
the
dust
down
and
the
rocks
on
the
road
where
they
belong.
The
camp
hosts
are
very
attentive...
George
came
by
in
his
ATV
to
check
the
pass...
Say
hello,
have
a
conversation,
he's
actually
very
nice.
He
gave
me
pointers
on
this
new
awning
i
built
for
my
Jeep..
Super
nice.
Yes
they,
him
and
his
wife,
came
around
every
couple
of
hours,
just
wave,
say
thanks...
He's
just
making
sure
people
follow
park
rules...
That's
why
the
park
is
so
nice,
perhaps!?!?!?
About
those
BBQ
pits...
They
are
more
like
fire
pit
pits
and
almost
every
single
complaint
about
bbqs
was
during
FIRE
SEASON...WTH
people...
Open
flames,
dry
grass...
If
you
live
in
the
Pacific
NW
you
understand
what
that
means..
It
only
takes
a
spark
and
this
is
on
the
Columbia...
So
it
is
windy
most
of
the
time..
I've
been
going
every
week
on
my
days
off.I
wave
at
them
when
i
drive
by,
they
come
say
hello
about
30
minutes
later...
If
you
don't
like
the
rules,
don't
go...
Please.
It's
quiet,
a
family
beach
NOT
a
party
beach..
Go
to
SAUVIES
ISLAND
if
that's
what
you
are
looking
for.
I
don't
mind
having
most
of
it
to
myself,
anyways.
