Always a super solid meal. On my most recent visit, we ordered a lobster roll and the burger. The lobster roll was great and served with super crispy fries. The burger was also amazing - two thin pattys and some house made sauce. Their drinks are great too and they have awesome desserts

We were on our way to the cheesecake factory but decided to try something different and wet here instead. This is my first time here noticed that they had a happy hour menu and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with all of the different appetizers that we selected. The only one I probably wouldn’t get again was the crab claw. Wasn’t seasoned or flavored well but everything else was really really good. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a good happy hour menu! Prices are also reasonable for happy hour. We ordered the deviled eggs, fried oysters, buffalo wings, muscles, Coconut shrimp and crab claw. An extra bonus. This really good Cornbread to munch on while we waited for our food to come out. The service was also really quick.

We often go here for happy hours. The food is delicious! If you're an oyster fan, the happy hour is awesome; briny oysters for 1.50 each are always fine. We always enjoy the maple glaze wings and the mussels pot. The drinks are okay with a couple of good happy hour and late night options. My uncle loves the shrimp and grits as well. Try them out!

I love Lobster Rolls. They have pretty decent lobster rolls. Calamari and Oysters were good. They have a great selection of drinks. The parking at Columbia Mall can be overwhelming at times. I loved sitting out on the patio, but grab a seat in the shaded areas.

Food was excellent. We had the crab cake sandwich, wood fired salmon, flatbread appetizer, cheesecake dessert. Free cornbread was delicious. Servers were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and the food came out quick. Definitely worth a try even if oysters aren't your thing.

One of my favorite seafood happy hour spots in the area. Get the raw oysters, oyster Rockefeller, jumbo crab claw and mussels. The wings here are huge and juicy. A great steal at $1.50. Drink specials are perfect as well. Happy hour is usually from 3-6 and after 9 pm some nights. Awesome place to stop by for some cocktails and fresh seafood

I thought the hostess were lovely on this busy day! My sisters and I came for Saturday brunch. The server to some time to get to us, but it was busy so totally understood. However once he did our service was amazing so nice and friendly. So the had a 26 dollar bottomless so of course we got that and tried every option! The Sangria tasted way to sugary as well as the hurricane. I didn’t care for the passion fruit mimosa, however the regular mimosa tasted great! I also enjoyed my Bloody Mary (it was on the spicy side). They have a plethora of breakfast and lunch options. For an appetizer we got the deviled eggs which were yum! Loved that it’s topped with a fried pursuer. I got the lobster roll which was really good! And my sister and I got the steak and eggs which was yummy. For desert we got the cinnamon rolls which were also good. I would totally go back. My only complaint they need a better system for drinks if it’s bottomless with a time limit.

1st visit and we loved it! Must try the deviled eggs - yummy with the fried oyster on top and a little spicy. Lobster roll was delicious. We also had the Harbor platter - cornmeal batter was light and tasted great. Just a little disappointed at the portion sizes for it to be enough for 2 people. Overall worth 4 stars.

So many options and I couldn't decide. Went to my bartender for a tie breaker. I had the lobster roll with mashed potatoes instead of fries, corn bread, and a guava lemonade. I'm not huge on lobster, but this right here was outstanding. It was better than the lobster rolls I had in different places while in Boston. Thick chunky pieces of full lobster claw, etc. The bun was fresh and soaked up the juices, making it even more amazing. The mashed potatoes were a little different. Cornbread with the special butter was really good. My lemonade tasted fresh and not bogged down with a ton of sugar. It was all perfect. I'm coming back for more. I haven't had some other items on the menu in a long time. Come check this place out! The only odd situation was that the televisions for sports were so high that I had to literally look up high to see the games. And I'm tall. So, that was odd. .....and I'm back. Saw the cinnamon rolls on the brunch menu and hot footed it over here this morning. Washed it down with an Arnie Palmie. All scratch made and fresh. Just how I fed my kids.

Though they have a hostess or hostesses to greet patrons upon entry and seat them, then people have to wait for a server to take their order. I went to the bathroom, came back, and sat. The other party arrived, and we sat. Finally, as I explained how long I had been sitting, a server passed by and overheard our conversation, then she offered to take our order. The menu is overpriced and lacking. There are two happy hours: 3-6 and 9pm-until. The late night, 9pm happy hour, is when patrons can actually get a happy hour meal. Otherwise, everything is alacarte or full priced meals. $3 per slider. $1.50 per chicken wing. They even charge per shrimp! The sides are $8. The hush puppies came in a bowl and were deeply fried, greasy and light, like eating a croissant. My slider was ok, but the only option was beef. The seats were hard. The only TVs were around the actual bar, and they were so high up, nobody could watch anything for very long without massaging their neck. The service was lacking when we did get a server. She didn't make any suggestions. All of her responses were short, and she had an attitude, like she just wanted us to leave her alone. I would never come back here. However, I did see groups gathering and couples sitting, around the bar. One lady had her baby sitting quietly in the window while she hung out with her friends. The bathroom was clean, and parking at Columbia Mall is always limited the later it gets.

I highly recommend to make a reservation - to choose which times early. I wasn't expected everyone took the times early on the same day. The hosts are friendly and served to the dining table well. The environment is nice and comfort. I understand waitress is busy with many tables; the only thing is forget to provide rolled dinner napkins (include dinnerware utensils) that we waited and ate cornbread and hard to dip the butter without knife. πŸ˜† Fast forward, all is good. My family enjoy a nice brunch. Thank you for the service.

Had a really good brunch here! Good selection of both sweet and savory options. Service could be a little bit slow but overall very friendly and attentive. Food was really good, flavorful and unique. Would definitely come here again. Ambiance was wonderful too was a nice get together spot.

We traveled to Columbia over the weekend for a little food and fun. This is not our first time here but it had been awhile. We attended The Walrus Oyster & Ale House before Covid when it first opened, and it was good. This time when we attended we had an even better time. The food was great, and our server (Daisy) was knowledgeable and good. We didn't have a bad time at all. I really liked that they switched my shrimp for the salmon. I ordered the Land and Sea but because I am allergic to seafood, Daisy got it switched to steak and salmon and it was great.

The food was great! Service was fast and the waiters were pleasent. We enjoyed ourselves on our date. My husband has a seafood allergy but they had land options as well. We will most certainly be back

Walrus Oyster &Ale House stirred my curiosity for a long period of time. yesterday, I ventured on Tuesday with no expectations. greeted by a hostess, to my requested seating. friendly, upbeat wait staff offered a beverage and considered a classic margarita. Ooo, next visit right on time for lunch, the cornbread was delectable. I ordered half chicken and my guest ordered Salmon. beautifully appointed entrees placed on the table. Half chicken looked appetizing, an unbelievably heavenly taste, moist and tender. my guest was impressed with her Salmon choice, cooked to her liking. also, I loved the fresh industrial decor, inviting and spacious made lunch much more a memorable and splendid event. I will return.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Restaurant is very spacious. Service is pretty quick. Food is amazing and fresh. We were not disappointed with anything. Ambiance is great. Wide drinks selection. Loved their complementary corn bread. The crab and shrimp special is amazing and absolutely loved the ziti al forno, cooked to perfection. Drinks were also great!

Outstanding restaurant! Great ambiance, service, food, and drinks. Seriously, it was all great. The bartenders and wait staff were all cool and friendly. The food was outstanding, wow factor level. The drinks were made perfectly. Had their famous lobster roll and it lived up to the reputation. This is one very well run restaurant, a great dining experience, and worth every dollar. Two big thumbs up!

The presentation is amazing. The dishes are creative and well done. The portions are considerate with the quality of food. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I felt that the flavors in the food were more subtle than I prefer. Everything was tasty, but it didn't leave me wanting more, except for the cornbread. That's sweet, delicious, and cake-like. I'm not an oyster fan, but according to my friend, the oysters were fresh and quite tasty.

Dropped in for brunch on a Saturday, as out of state visitors, and really enjoyed the experience. They food was all really tasty and presented well. Service was friendly and attentive (thanks, Joe!). The atmosphere is clean and modern with a nod towards the bay. The menu is diverse but fitting, and I highly recommend the dip! You can make reservations with OpenTable on their website.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Walrus Oyster & Ale House and it was an absolute treat! The location at Columbia Town Center is perfect and the atmosphere is casual yet sexy. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious - I especially loved the freshly served oysters, crispy wings, and the scratch margarita was to die for! I cannot wait to go back next week because the menu has so many other amazing options that I can't wait to try. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further than Walrus Oyster & Ale House!

The Walrus Chicken and Waffles is one of my favorite meals. The fried sage leaves really amplify it and the chicken is crazy crispy. Good drink selection and very clear about dietary restrictions (GF/DF). Fun casual environment that is a go to for us when friends or family are in town.

Went here for a lunch date with my lady. Everything was good from the host to the server to the food. It was a perfect day to sit outside on the patio. Oysters, Crab Cake, Shrimp and Grits, and Hush puppies were all good. The sauce they give you with the Hush puppies is really good too. Can't quite put my finger on what is in the sauce but it's good though.

I ordered the jumbo lump crab dip, half&half platter with Alaskan cod and fried oysters. My guest and I were able to sample some of the cornbread that accompanies each table and it was soooo delicious and we definitely wanted more! The jumbo lump crab dip was hot and delicious! It had the perfect ratio of meat and cheese! We literally cleared that dish in no time! The half&half platter was great as well! The food was fresh, hot and well seasoned! My favorite were the fried oysters! My guest ordered the Oyster Rockefeller and stated they were average. There was a bit of a wait (~45 minutes) at the time we went. It seems to get very busy being that it is a popular food place, so please pack your patience with you if you plan on going ! The waiter was very helpful and responsive to the needs of the table. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely include this restaurant as one of the places I should visit again!

I came to this restaurant based off of a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. I was able to get a table quickly even at the height of happy hour. I loved the chilled vibes of the restaurant and the waiter was extremely helpful with offering suggestions and even putting in a large order quickly so that I could take advantage of the happy hour prices. Must haves are the mussels and the Hurricane Harbor (2 will make you feel nice!). Unfortunately I was so hungry that I didn't take pictures of all the food, but I will most definitely be back.
