Easy location. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Nice sized rooms. Nice that they have the evening reception, but it was a mess with chips thrown around the table when we got there. Breakfast was the worst of any Embassy Suites we have stayed at. Luckily I got there at 7:30 so no need to wait 45 minutes in the line for omelets like at 9:30 when my companions tried to have breakfast. Omelets were not well made--the spinach in mine was not chopped and barely sauteed. The person taking the order and cooking seemed very angry and did not listen well when people placed orders. The person in front of me in line was served basically a mess rather than an omelet. But, worst of all was the state of the breakfast room at 9:30 with messes everywhere and most ingredients out (no muffins, no bagels, no fruit loops, no fruit, no cheerios, cold scrambled eggs and french toast). Potatoes were simply bland and tasteless along with being cold. Just an awful breakfast experience. Would a sign pointing the direction to the pool and the stairs be that difficult to put in (and the stairs were disgusting).

I have stayed in several Embassy suites and this stay did not come close to meeting my expectations. I try to be forgiving of slightly lackluster service in this environment of no-one wanting to work. However, this was excessive. The experience started poorly when we arrived, and no-one was at the check-in pods. When they looked for our reservation they found it right away but took a very long time assigning us a room. They smiled and appeared kind but were not giving us any information on what the hold up was about. When we arrived to the room there was a definite odd smell in the kitchen area. The smell seemed to be stronger in the fridge so we feel as if something had been left in the fridge for too long. I checked the beds and they appeared clean. Since we were all tired we stayed. In the morning I took the kids to the pool. We arrived to towels, drinks, and general trash all around the pool area. The pool water was so cloudy that I could not see the bottom and my son found a water bottle and a scrunchy in the bottom. I don't think I want to know what else he could have found. The pool towels were empty. We had to call the front desk to have towels brought to the pool. I then realized I could not exit the pool area. I had to text my spouse in the room to call the front desk so someone could come let us out. They made a slight change to the door so the door would not lock for those going in or out of the pool area. We also noticed that there was a substantial dirt streak on the floor in the lobby and large pieces of dirt near the elevators. The breakfast was fine and we were not there for the happy hour the night before so I cannot comment on that.

Did a point stay last minute with family here. Nice room, friendly staff, and really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Didn't have time to really enjoy this place, but would stay here again. The room was spacious and fit our needs. This place is very close to the airport along with having a shuttle. The hotel is also within 10 minutes of medical facilities, very convenient.

On December 28th, I reserved a room for my daughter's 6th birthday. Her wishes were to go swimming and I just knew that this hotel would be able to accommodate her wishes however this was not the case at all. I was proactive and called to verify prior to booking that the amenities that we wanted to utilize were in fact usable. I was told yes. After I checked in, I immediately went to the pool (before going to the room) and I saw signs that the pool is out of service. I immediately went back to the front desk and I was reassured that the pool would be back open that same day. This was not the case. This totally defeated the purpose of our stay and if I was informed a head of time, I could have arranged for different accommodation. Her birthday was ruined to say the least and this hotel refused to acknowledge the inconvenience of it all. I called and left messages with no response. Front desk staff were dismissive. Sub-par services which is very disappointing because I've stay here before and had a great experience.

Airport shuttle was prompt. Driver very friendly. Hotel staff helpful and professional. Breakfast buffet is worth getting up for: one of the best... especially the omelet bar and the wonderful wait staff. Minus one star: The only negative was the smell of old cigarette smoke in room 603. I would have requested a new room but it was a midnight arrival and I was exhausted. 2nd night was a different room and no smoke smell. Much better! Hoping room 603 is properly treated, thoroughly sanitized. Smell seemed like it's embedded in the fabric and carpet.

Great place to stay! Clean and we'll stocked rooms. Friendly staff and proactive covid practices! Plus, breakfast is legit! Miss Tina makes sure that the breakfast area is clean and the food is delicious and you can even tell she's smiling under that mask! The entire staff is friendly, competent, and incredibly hospitable!

Great Hotel with a pool, hot tub, made to order breakfast and evening reception. Mr Curtis makes the best breakfast with utmost care. Daniel is the super star manager, who is always available to take care the guests. Great Hotel and fabulous Crew. I always stay in this hotel, when i am around the area.

Room was dated and in desperate need of maintenance. I think I had the same room as another reviewer on here with the broken toilet paper holder. Towel holder was broken and missing. Doors to furniture was broken. Hot tub was out of service. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and nice. The evening reception and breakfast was nice as well.

We enjoy the welcome reception which had free snacks and good drinks. I had a budlight and few mixed drinks and both were great! Staff was friendly and place was fancy looking. Definitely will be back again.

We stayed here for 5 days during christmas 2023, We travel with our pets & Hilton allows pets. We were stopped no less than five times to ask if we signed a waiver which we did on the first day (why keep asking).... The Poo poo bag trash can outback where the dogs are supposed to go was never changed. At the entire five days we were there it was overflowing and nasty, We asked no less than seven times if they would change it, so we could put our poopoo bags in there and it went ignored even the manager acted like we were bothering him on the day before we checked out when we told him. I've never seen a hotel manager of a nice hotel just be so nonchalant. The hotel was dirty in places and just mismanaged. This manager does not need to run any hotel. He didn't care that the trash can wasn't changed in five days, after us reporting it over seven times.... If the owner is reading this your hotel is going in the wrong direction and I know from experience. Because I served in hotel hospitality before...

Love the spacious suites, managers reception and breakfast. Best hotel breakfast out there! Bed was comfortable and room was clean with good climate control. Relatively quiet location away from the highway, but some airport noise. Front desk personnel were very friendly and efficient. I always request a room on the top floor, which was not accommodated for this stay. Bar tender wasn’t as outgoing as we are used to when we’ve stayed here in the past, but took good care of everyone there. We saw her the next day working at the convention center too. Poor lady was exhausted, burning the candle at both ends. Did the omelette bar this visit and it was delicious. Breakfast is definitely 5 steps up from a typical hotel. Snacks at the manager’s reception include fresh veges, hummus, chips and dip and cheese tray, fruit. Overall happy with this stay.

We used to stay at this hotel all the time. We just stayed the weekend of August 25th and it was less than satisfactory. Half of our rooms lights wouldn’t turn on, the ice machine on our floor didn’t work, we didn’t get an ice bucket with our room, and the pull out couch has crumbs or I’m not sure what it was. Also, the air conditioning in our room would always cut out; and we have a 9 month old. The staff was more than welcoming and provided great service. Maybe the hotel needs a revamping/maintenance work. Breakfast and evening service is was amazing as always.

Stayed here for 4 days for my brother in laws wedding. This hotel was not only clean, cozy, and relaxing but has the nicest employees. Alexandria at the front desk helped my husband and I out a ton, she was super kind and went above and beyond. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend anyone to stay.

Beautiful place and well maintained I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and nothing has changed. Huge clean rooms đź‘Ś large bathrooms with all the things you need provided. Enjoyed the free breakfast and happy hour what else can I say. Embassy suites never dissapoint.

Family get together. Fabulous experience location lends itself to enjoying Columbus, which turned out to be a very interesting city and obviously centrally located. The breakfasts were fabulous, the cocktail receptions great, we enjoyed the pool. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms with living/dining area and separate sleeping area are much better than standard hotel room. The lobby and meeting rooms are spacious and allowed us to let small children run off steam in chilly midwest in March.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. STAFF - Very friendly and courteous, but with a minor setback. The woman that checked me in when I arrived greeted me with a smile, was very friendly and there were no issues. (I did not get her name) That meant a lot as it was a long day and a smiling face put me at ease. The woman who checked me out (I did not get her name) was smiling, friendly and talkative as well and there were no issues with checking out. I asked a gentleman for a reference to a good restaurant for dinner, and he was very courteous and more than willing to give me some suggestions. The woman who was overseeing the breakfast area did a great job as well. Please commend them on a job well done. On the morning I checked out (on 4/12) One woman was fairly rude to me when I approached her to ask her a question pertaining to the checkout time. She told me noon. A short time later, I approached her again to ask her about the hotel shuttle and if they go to the Columbus airport. She spoke (in a generally rude tone) why I asked that question again when I asked it the last time. I tried to correct her and said no I didn't, but she said I did. I dropped the conversation, said thank you and walked away. This did not sit well with me and left a lasting impression as it was the last interaction I had with the people at the desk. I am a firm believer that the people at the front desks are the first and last employees at the hotel you will see, and they should have positive interactions with patrons. ROOM - The room clean, and there was no odor which was great. The room was also very quiet as it was on the fifth floor, which was good. The fridge and microwave were clean, and everything worked fine, from the alarm clock to the TV and lights. There was extra toilet paper and plenty of towels to use. HALLWAYS / ELEVATOR - The elevator and hallway on the fifth floor leading to my room were very clean. FOOD - The breakfast was great!! everything stood out as being good from the pancakes, eggs, bacon and the omelets were awesome! The coffee was hot and there was plenty of creamer and sugar available. Cold milk was plentiful as well. Unfortunately, the automatic coffee machine did not work, but there was not a sign to show this. Several people tried to use it to no luck. A out of order sign was finally placed on the machine the next day. HOTEL LOBBY AND EATING AREA - The lobby and eating area were very clean and organized. The TV had the news on and was nice to watch while eating breakfast. Overall, it felt like a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, my first stay here was good. Thank you for everything the team does to make the hotel such a great experience. I will stay here again the next time I am in Columbus. Thank you!

Updated at 1037 est. Thank you to the MOD Jenna for fixing our room issue by immediately relocating us. What was in disaster mode cured by a caring manager... albeit after more work than what should have been necessary. Changed from one star to five all due to her. Prior post at 800am est: Currently staying at this property. Staff appears nice but not truly helpful. This stay is turning into a nightmare. 3 trips to front desk and the air still does not work. Miserable! Plus with my asthma makes breathing even more difficult. As a regular traveler for business I'm appalled how I'm being treated on this family vacation.

I'm a Gold Hilton member, and i have 2 years coming to this Hotel because i like the bar attention and the Happy hour, but the rooms are getting worst and worst, what is is happening here? No good clean, appliances in bad conditions, bathroom without pieces, carpet old and dirty... So i pay around 180 per night for a bad condition room? This hotel needs attention, supervision and investment!!!

Checked in around 10pm, slept for 5 hrs just to wake up and find my car was almost stolen out of their parking lot and there is “nothing” they can do to refund me for my stay. They have park at your liability signs posted throughout their parking lot and inside the hotel. That’s the security measure they have taken due to high theft at their hotel and surrounding hotels around the airport. They know of the high car theft rate at and around their site. Columbus police department tells me they receive multiple calls about car theft and attempted car theft at this hotel and surrounding hotels daily. And that there is an apartment complex behind this hotel with multiple teenagers aged 11-17 that have been arrested for car theft. I was also told I was lucky my car was still in the parking lot. And park at your liability is the best they can do for security. And it’s all they are required to do by law. And the hotel manager, John, tells me their parking lots are safe. Oh and it’s basically my fault that I drive a Kia and it’s a high theft car. I HIGHLY suggest finding another area to stay in if you are visiting the Columbus area.

The best hotel experience I have ever had. I mean free drinks and free appetizers? Large suites? Who WOULDN'T LOVE this place. Stayed here with baseball team for an out of state tournament.

Last night I checked in to the Emassy Suites Columbus Airport. I was told they had "given my room away" and that I was being given another They did not acknowledge my loyalty status (Hilton is very hot on this), they did not give me my check in amenities and when I asked for them, the clerk said "I can go see if there's anything back there" but made it clear he had no intention of doing so. The room they gave me (2 queen beds on the lowest possible floor) instead of my reserved room (1 king bed high floor) is a wreck. The refrigerator will not close and is totally frosted up. There are large and prominent stains all over the carpet. Several lights just do not work. The furniture is all damaged and shabby. The bathroom light, when turned off, flashes every 5 seconds. It did so all night and woke me frequently. I went down to change rooms this morning and they told me they could give me a king room on the 3rd floor, but it's reserved for "someone else" for the following 2 nights, so I will have to move again tomorrow. The hotel staff are all sloppy, slovenly and poorly dressed. It feels more like a ghetto motel than an Embassy Suites and I really don't even feel safe.

Best hotel to stay at in Columbus, Ohio. I have tried several different ones there and this one hands down is the best. It has a restaurant inside. It also has free breakfast in the morning and a happy hour with free drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 anytime it also has a shuttle that will take you 6 mi away from the hotel. If I'm in Columbus. I will stay there.

A slightly higher-end Embassy Suites Hotel. Staff was a mixed bag with some staff (like bartender) very helpful while others (like some of the desk attendants) went out of their way to avoid helping you. The bathroom, while spacious, could have used more lighting. Bottom line, a fairly good place to stay for a weekend.

We stayed a night here this weekend and almost considered staying longer just bc the hotel is so nice! They have cocktail hour at night and breakfast included, both were good quality. The room was so nice and clean too. The view of the autumn trees was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and had good energy. We loved it here!

This was a quality Hilton experience! The rooms were clean and the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up the next morning. The happy hour was filled with a variety of cheese, crackers, snacks and dips that were tasty, the bar was also free between select hours. The staff was very welcoming and were happy to store our bags for us because we arrived before check in, while we continued to explore the city!

I had a brief stay in June with a friend. This hotel is a safe bet and will not disappoint. There is a great morning breakfast service with attentive staff, an evening drink/snack mix and mingle, pool, gym. Great for work or leisure. Close access to 670/airport. Highly recommend.

Customer service reps appeared overwhelmed when we checked in because the card system was down—no warm or inviting reception. I inquired about an upgrade and was told ALL rooms are the same. I asked if the corner suites were larger, and she repeated the same statement. We were given one room key, which was challenging because we traveled with my disabled mother. We often had to wait for the other person to arrive with a key or go to retrieve the key. Not to mention, two of the elevators were down most of the weekend. This also proved to be a challenge to transport my disabled mother via wheelchair. Due to the lack of accessible elevators, our activities became limited for the weekend. We had three large towels and two washcloths in our room. Saturday morning at about 8:45, I requested additional towels by calling the front desk. I was told they would be sent up. No towels were ever sent. I watched for staff on the floor and eventually found someone. When I told him I was waiting for towels, he said there were no clean towels in the entire hotel due to a reunion being held and advised me to check back after 4:30 (7 hours later). No one ever updated me, left a message, or dropped off towels. I had to go to the store and purchase towels to ensure we had towels for the weekend—hardworking breakfast and evening reception staff. The front desk staff was hit and miss for quality service. I even had to ask for a snack bag when checking in as she appeared overwhelmed and not too friendly (maybe a bad day). The rest of the staff on the floor, in the restaurant, event staff, and elsewhere proved to be polite and professional. Great location off the beaten track. Not your typical Embassy with the atrium and less noise.

The location is near the airport which is great. They were doing upgrades to some of the equipment within the hotel so the water was going to be out the next morning. But they made sure that everyone knew and provided bottled water for everything. I'm not sure if it was the cleaning reagents that were used within the room or if the room just smelled musty. I did let the front staff know and there were no rooms available during my check-in. The staff were great and very helpful.

Very well kept hotel, friendly staff and the best breakfast. Even though it's very close to the airport (you can see the runways from some rooms) it's still a quiet place for a restful, comfortable sleep. Rooms on the back side of the hotel have a very scenic view and you can easily walk to the Alum Creek walking trail.

Dirty sheets left on pull out bed, had to request new. Remote in bedroom literally had syrup from top to bottom. Fridge did not keep food cold( my stuff bought went bad), shelves were dusty. I had to buy wipes to clean it myself before putting my stuff on it. Hooks were missing in bathroom but brackets were still hung, furnature was beat up bad, couch had stains(didnt want to sit on it). It was the dirtiest room I have ever been in. Clearly was not cleaned. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. Was also told they had operating hot tub and when we got there it was empty and gross looking inside. I need a room again next month and I was going to rebook, but not now. I have a group I was with that booked there and all had similar issues. Definitely didn't live up to the Hilton cleanliness promise. Happy hour was nice and bar tenders were hard working and friendly. Only positive but my top priority is cleanliness and it was awful.

Always a good time when staying at an Embassy Suites. Was our first time at this one. Hotel and room were very clean. Made to order breakfast was delicious and well presented. The staff member at check in and the staff member working the breakfast were both very personable, helpful and polite. Only down side, and it had nothing to do with the hotel, was we weren't able to get there until late so we missed the managers special and didn't get a chance to try out the pool. We will definitely stay at this Embassy again.

Embassy Suite Columbus Airport was a disappointment. It was dirty and there was no bathroom towels or extra sheets. When I spoke to the guest service they said it was because of covid!!!

Positives: friendly staff and the cocktail hour was nice. Common areas are tastefully Decorated and clean. Kids had fun in the pool Negatives: the hot tub is broken, my room was not as clean as I have come to expect from embassy suites . There was obviously a birthday party in the room before us. There was a discarded popped ballon in our bed, candy wrappers on the floor. And a gift bag full of candy wrappers under the desk on the floor. And the grout in the shower needed a good scrub. There was broken glass on the patio by the pool as well. There was a large stain on our carpet and a few small lipstick stains on the carpet throughout the room. The front desk clerk did offer to switch our room, but I declined since I had already removed the garbage and my kids had already unpacked and settled in. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but I was just a little surprised

Front desk was nice, definitely a lot of square footage for the room. Felt cozy, and well equipped. Plenty of outlets for electronics, and we'll stocked. Room was clean, bed was comfy and pillows were puffy! Definitely a nice hotel. Only issue... Bar staff... They are definitely not happy to be there and help out. Let alone take care of orders.

  • 3/5 Maya S. 2 years ago on Google
The positives: the airport shuttle was prompt, evening reception and breakfast were great. The negatives: I wouldn't say the room was dirty but there were a few minor cleanliness issue like what appeared to be fake fingernail visible under the edge of the room's couch. We also had a handicap bathroom (we did not request nor need) that only had a broken handheld shower head. The biggest negative was that there was some kind of youth soccer tournament and the were kids were unruly. Running loudly throughout the hallway late into the night, knocking on doors and running off. I don't see this as the hotel's fault but it was extremely disruptive to guest who weren't part of that group.

The lobby is gorgeous and very welcoming! The rooms were cozy and very clean. Breakfast was great and had a very large selection! We were not able to attend the evening reception but I'm sure that was nice as well. This was a great location and I will return!

A bit of an older property but the room was clean. The tub was a little rough but clean also. The only real staff interaction we had was with the 2 women who handled the breakfast buffet. They deserve a pat on the back! Excellent job especially with the amount of people they had to prepare for and super friendly. We'll done ladies!

Had a great experience here! Rooms were very updated, clean and large. The couch was not the usual uncomfortable and worn-out but a nice L-shape, newer couch that actually made lounging possible. Bathroom was huge and extremely spacious. Staff was very friendly.

Very clean, efficient, nice amenities, but the coffee in the room is terrible. Went down to get coffee from the lobby, it wasn't ready on time. However when food service finally opened the breakfast was great. Also the lounge bar is the place to be be happy hours, free drinks (limited) for guests of age.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. I had a work dinner and took my daughter with me. We swam in the pool and went to the gym. Everything was very clean, people were very nice, and room service was fast. Food is a tad on the expensive side, but it tastes amazing and breakfast is included. Plus, check out is at 12pm and I LOVED that !!

Very pleasant, comfortable airport hotel! This was my first visit to Columbus in decades. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely brief, just a quick one night stay on a business trip. Therefore, my colleagues and I didn't get a chance to see and experience many of the hotel's amenities. However, I can certainly give a big "thumbs up " with my initial impression of the hotel and my incredibly spacious guestroom! Although arriving and departing in the darkness of night, the hotel appears to be very well maintained and managed. The lobby, guest registration and lounge area is a very impressive, large, open atrium area allowing guests to have plenty of space to meet and relax. My guestroom was double the size of a traditional hotel room. Sadly I didn't have more time at this hotel to enjoy my comfortable, spacious guestroom suite. All of my colleagues made the same remarks on the spaciousness of their guestrooms and wishing we had more time to enjoy. My guestroom was clean and quiet. It included a living room complete with sofa, chairs and large, flat screen TV. The living area also included a decent size "kitchenette", with microwave and refrigerator, as well as a dining table. The bedroom is a separate room off the living area and included a large, comfortable queen bed with another large flat screen TV. The bathroom was really large, especially for a hotel. There was plenty of room to spread out and included a large glass shower. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service which my colleagues and I greatly appreciated. The shuttle operated on schedule and both the morning and evening drivers were very nice and professional! Due to my limited time in the hotel, and having checked in prior to hotel arrival, I didn't have an opportunity to encounter any other hotel staff associates. With that said, my opinion of the Embassy Suites is completely favorable and positive. The hotel is located approximately 5 minutes from the Columbus Airport. I would certainly recommend this hotel for short and long-term stays!!

What can I say, it’s Embassy Suites. Beautiful property, nice spacious rooms. Awesome breakfast - cook to order omelets or eggs (sunny side up, over easy, scrambled). Good coffees. Happy hour in the evening - free 2 drinks (soda, beer, wine, light cocktails) & munchies (chips, crackers, dips, hummus, celery, carrots, cheese, cucumbers, mixed lettuce, etc). Convenient location.

I will start by saying that this is a nice hotel that is in a great location in Columbus. Close to the airport and highway and easy to get just about anywhere in the city in a hurry. Rooms were nice. Only complaint is that the pillows were really really bad. Quite possibly the worst hotel pillows I have ever had. They were incredibly small and lumpy. Breakfast was awesome, definitely go for the fresh omelette!!

Baruch, the night clerk is the least professional Hilton employee I’ve ever encountered. I stay in Hilton hotels 3 weeks a month. We called the front desk because the AC wasn’t working. He told us no one was here tonight so we need to turn it off for 10 min and try again. I called back and asked to be moved to another room. He told me he was looking and would call me back, i requested to be put on hold and he told me he was unable to look for an available room with the a call on hold!?! He then finds a room. I ask him if my digital key will work for the new room (3 floors away) and he literally laughs at me. He tells me i need to come downstairs and get a key. It’s midnight. I’m not pleased. I go downstairs and tell him this has been and terrible experience customer service wise and he is unprofessional. He makes a bunch of excuses. Now, I’m at my new room and my app updated itself with the new digital key. I expect more from Hilton. Even if I weren’t a diamond member, issues like this in the middle of the night should warrant a visit to your room to address the maintenance issue. Worse case, he should have met us at the new room with the key.

This hotel was great. We stayed for 1 night, it was very busy but service was great. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour. We saw the pool but it was very busy so my child decided to pass in it. The breakfast was amazing as was one of the workers. I did not catch her name but she was PHENOMENAL! We will definitely stay again.

Stay here for three nights and I couldn’t ask for more. It’s a well kept establishment and had great complimentary breakfast. Last but not the lease, staff were extremely polite and helpful. I’m definitely staying here again for my next business trip.

We were on Fall Break and we chose this location hotel due to a pool and hot tub. When we called to make reservation they assured me both were in working order. When we went to the pool with 2 excited kids the hot tub was empty and the pool had an awful 1/4 inch film on it and there was no way it was safe for the kids to swim in. When we asked the staff they said sorry, but there was no one there that could help with the pool. I am usually very happy with Embassy Suites, but this one was not good. The rooms were very dusty and didn't look cleaned. We will not be staying here if we come back.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! The complimentary evening reception had light snacks and free drinks in the lobby. The free breakfast included a hot buffet with several items, made to order omelets, cold cereals, bagels and pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal, coffee and juice bar. The rooms were clean and efficient, had microwave, fridge, coffee maker, spacious bathroom. Grounds and hotel were very clean and everyone I encountered was friendly. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, short drive to casino. Based on this stay, I'd definitely look at Embassy Suites in other areas.

I think that all areas are affected by the covid staffing shortages, which was reflected when no one brought a blanket for 24 hours. The staff was excellent and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic and offers a make your own omelette station. Great and clean suites. I'd come back again.
