Really excellent service by Mr Patel and his team- the inside of the hotel , primarily the rooms, are efficient and clean, the breakfast is sufficient, and the staff are responsive and courteous. Perhaps Wyndham can spend money on the exterior ( doors, parking lot surface, trash receptacles ) to bring up the hotel. It is located in a place close to highway and hopefully the surrounding blogs will increase in value and have more business.

Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk associate was rude from the second she came out of the back to check me in. I asked for a room near the entrance on the first floor because I felt unsafe from the moment I arrived and was instead given a room on the second floor of the back side of the building, forcing me to park next to an abandoned building. There was someone smoking pot outside of the entrance I was told to use and I had to sit in my car waiting until he finished just to get into the building. People were loud and fighting, playing music or just yelling and slamming doors throughout the entire night resulting in minimal sleep. Parting gift was bedbug bites for both myself and my ESA. Do not stay at this hotel. Drive a few minutes further and pay a few dollars more for anything else.

Horrible. I had a horrible experience. I am a diamond member. I was there on business. I asked for a late checkout the night before for a major reason. I had a Major closing meeting at 11am!! I explained the night before how important this meeting was to me. And why I needed the late check out. I put the do not disturb reminder on the door after breakfast just in case to remind staff that I was in a very important meeting. Then the owners wife came banging on my door 11:15 am telling me I had to leave she had a early check-in and I had to leave right now. Luckily I remembered my microphone was live and I stayed calm and respectful and tried to explain I made a note of my meeting and I requested late check out. She screamed I don't care you have 15 min to leave. I was so embarrassed and so was my boss when I looked back to my screen my boss was red in the face shacking his head!! luckily for me the owner of the company I was closing the deal on was African American to and screamed the only reason I was treated like that was because I was black. I was so angry I checked out and left my $6500 diamond bracelet, my wedding anniversary gift in the night stand. When I got into my Uber black I shook my wrist like I always do when I'm nervous or upset. I realized I didn't have it right away I asked the driver please turn back for my bracelet. We where only 10 away from the hotel. I got back explained I left my bracelet there staff said it wasn't there I brought my bags back into the lobby and dumped them on the lobby floor and proved to them I didn't have that same check staff gave me a compliment on my bracelet the morning before, the same staff member who went to check to see if it was there in the night stand. She knew how much that bracelet meant to me I lost my wife to COVID-19!!!!!!! Staff had to have known what type of person I am, a business man I stay in suit and tie 24 /7 with my brief case by my side every where I go. I rented there best suite 3 nights in row I treated staff with respect on every verbal occasion. All this being said, I was treated like trash by the owners wife!!! The cleaning Staff stole something truly precious to me. And I was embarrassed Infront of my boss and A Major corporation being racially profiled and kicked out this establishment live on Skype.

To start this off, the pictures are very misleading. As a woman who travels alone, arriving to the hotel has me rather sketched out as it looked like it was in a rather rough condition and the parking lot was basically empty. The woman at the desk was nice enough but you could tell she rather be on her phone than checking me in. Nothing tells you that the hotel has no elevator and with my slight mobility issues, navigating the stairs was a little extra hassle I didn't need or expect. The room was okay, as long as you could get passed the smell of either cleaner or the air freshener that was used to mask the smell of whomever smoked in that room. The window actually opened and has no screen so that was interesting. The sheets had small holes from multiple uses but smelled like regular hotel bleach laundry cleaner, they apparently don't use mattress pads/protectors like most hotels either. Everything was cleanish for the most part, I found a few hairs in the shower and one on my towel but that was all. I guess for the price you get what you get. The breakfast offered wasn't terrible, they offer toast, bagels, cereals, and fresh waffles so that was a nice touch.

This place us decent for the price in comparison to other places. If their pool was open or going to be this summer they would definitely get 5 stars. They take care about decorating and appearance and upkeep. Like the pool wasn't open but its because they are building a new and better one. Our room was obviously recently renovated and I believe upkeep is what makes the difference between them and other comparable hotels in the area.

I got this hotel as one of those deals where you dont know what hotel you're getting... very pleasant surprise!!! Clean, quiet, decent... i used the laundry room and it was pretty good! Breakfast was nice with boiled eggs, cream cheese, toast and waffles... juices, coffee! Located in not great area, however convenient to access I 70. I can only say thank you to the whole staff

I'm a regular and have been coming here for a year now. This is me and my boyfriends spot. Just to get away from home, and spend time together and relax. The new renovations are really nice, the rooms are affordable. Nothing crazy going on, and no one being loud. Cars are safe and no one lurking around. My favorites are Ms. Donna and the Manager Mike. No matter if they're having a bad day or not, they don't show it, nor take it out on their customers, and their customer service is top notch. The other 2 front desk workers that had really good customer service that I've seen one time. Is Ms. Jamie, and Jazmine. All four of these people need raises. Thank you guys for always being welcoming with a smile on your face. 😊

On 2/10/2022, I stayed at this hotel and was put in the worst room (Room 140) I've ever stayed in! When we entered the room, the heat was blasting and it took quite a while to get the room down to a comfortable level. There was a light fixture attached to the wall but wasn't working. After a quick check, I saw that there was no outlet for the cord to plug into! Because there was only a desk lamp - in the living area, the back half of the room was extremely dim. My wife tried to make a cup of coffee, but the coffee maker was broken. It was missing the tube from the water reservoir that sends the hot water to the section where the grounds are. We tried to call the front desk to report it but the phone was dead! I checked both ends of the cable and both were plugged in properly. In order to sleep, we had to turn off the heater because the fan was so noisy! I asked to speak with the Manager to request an adjustment in the rate but was told that he wasn't available and they didn't know when he would be available. The hotel was very convenient since I was traveling on I-70 but I won't ever stay there again and I would strongly advise any readers to do the same!

I think they're in the middle of some updating. It was comfortable and fine. The desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The Continental breakfast a bit lacking. Not a "destination" hotel, but affordable and just off 270 and 70 for easy access to Downtown, Airport, etc to get to the real things you're there for to begin with! If you mostly want to relax and hang at your hotel, look elsewhere. If you just need a place to rest between escapades, it's a good deal in an accessible location.

Room was big and could have used a few more pieces of furniture. It was quiet with plenty of free parking on site. Road around the hotel could've used some maintenance. Great breakfast included in room price.

I was extremely nervous about staying here with all the negative reviews I've seen. However, it's really not that bad. The first impression was that the lobby was neat and put together well. Front desk check-in was quick and easy. There's no elevators, but there's only 1 flight of stairs, so it's not terrible. Once I entered the room, I double-checked the bed. Since this place, it's getting blown away with negative reviews. I'm a supervisor in the hotel business, and the bed was clean and comfortable! The room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was clean, with a decent size shower. The water pressure was great. The water was HOT, and the most important part, the A/C is COLD and controlled with the thermostat on the wall. I was snuggled all night! Pro's: -Spacious room -Clean -Fridge -Microwave -Couch -Clean comfortable bed -Coffee machine -Desk with a nice computer chair -Spacious bathroom and clean -Water hot and decent pressure. -Dove supplies provided -Beautiful clean and renovated room -Quite -Flood lights everywhere that light up parking lot -Felt safe Cons: -Claims of smell of Marijuana but honestly I think it's a cleaning solution they use. -No pool-not that I would use it anyways -Pictures online are edit professionally doesn't match the outside parking lot, but don't worry about this.

Stains on the sheets, carpet and furniture. Breakfast was rubbery and poor. Only one desk staff even seemed interested to help. Despite saying no smoking whole place smelt of marijuana.

FYI who paid for this room, not this guy ! Employer paid . Arrived after job ,late evening. Check in was a breeze . Room was nice , had the wood looking smooth floor , the shower was hot and the bed was comfy . The window had a see through shade but no solid one , the light coming in was of such magnitude, like someone having a rave and it just got kicked up to level10 ! I hung up sheets from other bed around window curtain frame . Slept like and baby and then i woke up like one , crying and I had soiled myself ! Just kidding, maybe. As far as "Free Breakfast " goes it wasn't bad ! The usual suspects , cereal , fruits , muffins and yogurt. They even had fried eggs , the yolks , mostly hard , but still good and sausage that looked like sausage which is saying something . Oh yeah and waffles ,I'm always forgetting, it's getting waffle ! So I left with my diaper changed and my belly full ! It was a good stay which turned in to a great day !

We had a rough stay. We had to stop for the night because on a snow storm. We checked in at 11pm and went straight to our room. As we walked up to the door we could hear a smoke detector chirping. Sure enough, it was the one in our room. I called the front desk right away to get a new battery. The phone rang for a good 6 or 7 minutes with no answer. I then went down to the front desk to the sound of the back door closing and there was nobody in sight. I looked all around and waited several more minutes for some assistance, nothing. I went back up to the room and continued to call the front desk. 20 minutes later someone answered and said to come down for a new battery. When taking the smoke detector down, there was a wire hanging from the wall that was not connected. come to find out the wire nut they used was too large and did not even clamp down on the small wires. So they were laying inside of the nut loose. Sounds like a fire hazard if this is the way the whole "renovation" was done. After 4 trips to the front desk and an hour later, they switched us rooms. All of this while my two young kids and wife just wanted to go to sleep. This, the stained sheets, unmanned front desk, plus the wrinkly boiled eggs laying in water at breakfast was a big turn off. We were told that we would hear from the manager and have still not heard a thing. We will never stay here again!

Horrible customer service. Had me looking in the laundry room for my own towels... I couldn't find any. Finally found some on a cart down a hallway. First room heat didn't work. Second room comforters were stained. Decent price that's it.

The sofa had old gum, in the shower there is a shelf and it was hanging off (broken) and I believe there was makeup on the bathroom wall. Inside the lobby and throughout the halls, smelled like old mop, water, or had a stench to it. My daughter did not want to be here, the smell made her upset. When we got to our room the smell got better

The pictures online look great. The location is 15 minutes away from the airport and the pool wasn’t functional so the information online was misleading. The room smelled like someone smoked in it then tried to cover the smell with strong cleansers. The windows didn’t have screens so I could only air it out a little. There were stains on the sheets, smudges on the mirror, and overall didn’t look like it had a thorough cleaning. People were arguing or partying outside of our window every night. There is no elevator and the set-up is a bit of a maze so if you have any ability issues this is not the place to stay. However, for the price and being off the highway, it was fine.

Coming in to this hotel I was a little worried. But once they touch up the outside it really wouldn’t be terrible. The negative reviews had me worried, but room-wise, everything was up to expectation. Very clean rooms, great water pressure, and honestly one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve been on. The breakfast was mediocre, and several other reviews mention how you can hear cleaning service in the morning - I can attest to that. Slamming doors all morning as if you’re in the hallway with them. The walls in general are very thin. The staff was very friendly, though.

I had an exceptional experience at La Quinta Inns, making it one of my best stays. The hotel surpassed my expectations with its impeccable cleanliness, which was of utmost importance to me. The breakfast provided was satisfying, and the internet speed was commendable. Moreover, its convenient location made it easily accessible, with a travel time of approximately 14 to 20 minutes to the midtown area. What made my stay even more remarkable was the exceptional service from the front desk staff. They were not only polite and helpful but also genuinely nice. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Jamie Kubar in particular for her outstanding assistance and warm demeanor. Her exceptional service deserves special recognition. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel based on my highly satisfying experience.

Good hotel. Not too expensive for a night's stay, however they do not enforce their mask policy in public places. Continental breakfast had many options for prepackaged items, as well as waffles and breakfast sausages.

The sidewalks were covered with ice EVERYWHERE, the entire property smelled of gas leakage/fumes, the curtains were completely see through with absolutely no privacy whatsoever (I had to hang a sheet up at the window), the water in the restroom smelled like rotten eggs, the hot water did not last throughout half of my shower and turned completely cold, the staff posted in the dining area that we are not to bring any food to our rooms (as if we are irresponsible children)…However, they provided a microwave and refrigerator in each room (make it make sense), AND lastly..we requested replacement washcloths and towels at the front desk but were not provided with such and instead were told to wait until housekeeping arrived to fulfill our needs. I’m not even going to talk about or touch on the cleanliness or the lack there of. Totally unacceptable and I would NEVER waste my money again.

Nice place. Comfortable beds. Not ghetto. TV channels aren't the best. But if u want a clean nights sleep away from nonsense while living in a city of nonsense I recommend here.

If I could give the zero stars I would there was no hot water. The covers and sheets were stained. I booked for two nights only stayed one still have not received my money back for the second night. No one hardly spoke English. It is an all-around horrible experience.

The rooms are nicely renovated. But if they put you on the 2nd floor there are NO elevators, the pool is always closed & dirty. I wasn't aware they're pet friendly. This would be the only reason I wouldn't return. But my wife is pissed that she had the room held w/ card and wanted to pay with a different card but they had already taken the $$ off the 1st card. They said a 3rd party took the $$

We travel a lot for my husband’s work and stayed at this location for 2 weeks and I must say we had an amazing stay! Our room was absolutely beautiful and very clean, the front desk ladies and maids were the nicest and most helpful people. We were able to do our laundry there, eat breakfast daily (which helps save money) and it was also close to the interstate, shopping and restaurants. The only thing I had an issue with was we never had any actual hot water in the shower when it wasn’t cold it was merely lukewarm. But all the other great things override this hiccup.

  • 4/5 brenda c. 9 months ago on Google
The hotel was a little old on the first floor, but the second floor rooms were updated and clean. I wish that it had a hairdryer in the room. The noise in the hall was terrible from people being very loud until 3am, which made it hard to sleep. The evening front desk clerk was extremely polite and helpful because our coffee pot was broken she didn't hesitate to get us another one from a room not in service. There isn't an elevator, but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was good, but it should have eggs to go with the sausage. Overall, it wasn't too bad except for the noise.

  • 3/5 Angelia R. 1 year ago on Google
It was good because the guy at the front desk was really nice. The breakfast was nice as well. Unfortunately the pool isn't open and that was what we were excited for. The room was basic. We had two double beds that were okay to sleep on. For a quick stay it wasn't bad. Gave it three stars because the front desk guy was really nice, breakfast was good, and it was clean. Would of gave more if the pool was open. (But I understand why).

This hotel is disgusting and not in a safe area. Thank god were traveling with our German shepherds or I would not feel safe. The locks on the door don’t even work and the extra safety bar lock isn’t positioned right so the door still opens. The “Paul Mitchell” shampoo bottles were refilled with some disgusting shampoo / conditioner. The parking lot is so sketchy. Everything looks dirty. There’s warped floor boards and dark black scratches on the floor. I usually love La Quinta but this place is absolutely terrible. I would never stay here again even if you paid me. I felt bad making my baby sleep in that bed & I barely slept bc It felt disgusting and unsafe.

  • 4/5 Danielle L. 1 year ago on Google
Parking lot needs redone. Not a lot of room for trailers without unhooking. Plenty of places to eat near by. Not a quite hotel. Bathrooms were nice. Couldnt figure out how to turn the heat on just blew cold air no matter what i set the temp on.

Stayed here for a week as a solo for work in New Albany. Found this place last minute at a discount rate, so I wasn't expecting much. Front desk staff was friendly and got me checked in fast. There was ample parking. Hotel is a bit rough around the edges....but my room was just what I needed. Clean . Bed was not the best, but I was able to get a good nights sleep. Fairly quiet through the nights. The AC/Heat worked great. Shower had great water pressure. Felt safe staying here and would return again.

The check in was easy, friend desk was friendly. The room was nice, clean, and enjoyed the bigger bathroom. I gave 3 stars because the air conditioning in the room was broken which made sleeping more difficult, it is the summer. Felt safe and other than the air conditioning the stay was enjoyable.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. After all of the money they have made from us we were treated poorly. Service is so disrespectful. I needed blankets and the lady looked at me and said she couldn't because she was leaving for the night. It would take 2 minutes. They do not clean the rooms well at all. They didn't leave towels, change sheets or blankets or even empty the trash can. But they will charge you for a full good service. Not a good option.

  • 1/5 Sydney L. 1 year ago on Google
The ceiling was leaking over the beds at 3:00 am, the TV was broken, and the hotel would not lower the cost nor offer any reparation for the issues with the room. If you like horrible service and low quality hotels, this is the one for you.

  • 1/5 Kelli M. 1 year ago on Google
I would rate negative if I could! Worst hotel experience ever. Housekeeping wouldn’t clean. We spent so much money here and ended up having to go purchase our own cleaning supplies, toilet paper and towels. Had to take out our own trash. Requested clean sheets and toilet paper and all the person at the front desk could say was ‘you want to check out?’ Wouldn’t give us anything. They don’t care about their guests whatsoever. Spent about 6 weeks here over an 8 week period (traveling for work) and sheets were changed maybe once. They would go in the room daily but not to do anything productive. They literally took things out of the drawer we had put them in and moved it somewhere else. There was no reason for them to even open the drawers, let alone move anything around. If they wanted to move something, they could have moved a broom across the floor.

Do not stay here. We had a paid reservation through Wyndham using our Rewards points. When we arrived the place looked extremely run down. When we tried to check in we were refused a room even though we had a confirmation. The woman checking is in would not even try to help and refused a room. We have never been treated like this. We expect our points to be refunded.

I've stayed here before and I really like this hotel. They have good rates, clean updated rooms and really nice bathrooms. The lobby looks new and modern and love the furniture and color choices. My only issue if that's what you want to call it, would be the location. I just wish it were closer to downtown lol. But enjoyed my last few stays and plan to stay again.

This was one of the worst hotels that I have been to and I have traveled a lot. We checked into this hotel and went to grab a bite to eat. When we returned from dinner, we proceeded to our room where there the stench of weed was strong and there were a group of men IN OUR ROOM. We had not put our belonging in the room earlier, so we just went directly to the front desk with our things. We were told that the girl who gave us that room was new and must have double booked it. We were assigned a different room. We got to that room and there were loud voices inside that room as well! How does this happen twice?? This was not safe as we could have entered a room with people inside. We did NOT feel safe with the 'questionable' people walking around, so we went back to the front desk for a refund. We left and found a very nice hotel just a couple of exits away. This is NOT a nice hotel nor area. Families traveling should not be fooled by the good ratings as this was not safe. In addition, we still haven't been refunded. This hotel is HORRIBLE.

Employees are nice. Rooms are updated but not entirely the best still. Breakfast was ok. Other guests screaming at each other and pot smoking were the problem mainly. Oh and the parking lot pot holes are lots of fun though. Plus I got to walk away with two bed bug bites as a bonus. Thankfully I didn't bring any back.

Service was amazing Miss Donna (I think that's what her name is) is an exceptional hostess. Thank you for that! Our room was nearly clean, but you could tell that the sheets were fresh. That is the most important thing. The bathroom seemed very clean also. The living room area was lacking, I had to clean the TV so we could watch it. All and all it was a much better stay than most of the places I've stayed.

Would not recommend staying here to anyone. I expected this to be a little rundown from previous reviews I read but I was even more disappointed when I got there. Best part about the location is that it was right off the highway, the parking lot needs work done, too many pot holes to count. The hallways have very dim lighting and are very loud at night, you can hear everything people talking, people slamming doors. The rooms are not taken care of, as soon as I walked in the room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was no smoke detector on the wall, when I expressed my concerns for safety to the front desk they told me they would have maintenance come look and fix it and no one came. The lamp shades had holes in them, the window shade did not work was jammed so the shade was stuck down, there were stains on the walls, the chair in the room was disgusting and badly stained looked like it was picked up from a yard sale. The pipes were loud when the neighbor would turn on the shower, and the bed was uncomfortable, and there were stains on the pillows. Had hopes breakfast in the morning would be some what decent also disappointed with what tasted like over microwaved sausages and old bagels. If you get excited for an updated bathroom mirror, sink, and shower then go for it otherwise, there are other cheap hotels that put more effort into appearance and make sure guest are taken care of during their stay, especially for safety concerns, would not ever bring children here. Was not looking for luxury on this stay but was as least hoping to be comfortable. Called my booking place to express my concerns, when they called the front desk to discuss it with them they informed me they were hung up on twice. Even when looking for a place to crash for the night it would not even be an option, I would sleep in my car before staying here again.

They said airport, it is 15 minutes from airport away from safer areas. This place was filthy outside. It wasn't just the parking lot and dumpster which were a mess. It was even the doors and entrances that are just filthy. We are in Covid times and it made me question the cleanliness of the rooms. It has many people living there full time which seems to be a theme with these hotels now having the Wyndham name. It makes you believe there is a standard but there isn't.

Manager- he was very nice and helpful. However it was very loud the first night with kids running up and down the hall. The next night was awaken at 4 am with a few guys yelling/swearing and wanting to fight plus they were smoking. Our last night their were several dogs barking and added a special order to the floor. We recognize they need help however the place needs some love and a good cleaning.
