Yellow
Brick
is
in
the
Bexley
area
on
the
corner
of
Oak
and
18th.
From
the
looks
of
the
inside
it
appears
to
be
a
hipster
pizza
place/bar.
Standard
pizza
style
is
in
between
thin
and
traditional,
cut
into
slices,
but
they
also
offer
a
Chicago
style
deep
dish.
Yellow
Brick
is
often
compared
to
Dewey's
or
Mellow
Mushroom
and
seems
to
be
a
fair
comparison.
There
are
a
lot
of
artisan
creations
for
different
pizza
combinations.
My
group
ordered
a
variety
to
try
a
bit
of
everything.
We
got
a
small
Spicy
Chicken
Corn
Chowder,
a
small
Jerry
Lee
Lewis,
a
small
Cheese,
a
small
Meggie's
Veggie,
a
Large
Pepperoni
and
Onion
Tristano's
Chicago
Stuffed
Pizza,
a
large
order
of
Garlic
cheese
bread,
and
a
side
salad.
All
of
that
was
$91,
which
honestly
is
a
fair
price
based
on
the
quality
&
quantity
of
the
dough/sauce/cheese/toppings
and
the
size
of
the
pizzas
(their
small
pizza
is
10").
Every
pizza
was
quite
good
with
the
star
of
the
standard
pizzas
being
the
Spicy
Chicken
Corn
Chowder.
My
personal
favorite
out
of
everything
was
their
Chicago
style
deep
dish
-
loaded
with
cheese
and
made
the
right
way
for
a
stuffed
pie.
In
my
opinion
their
Chicago
style
is
better
than
Giordano's.
Garlic
cheese
bread
and
salad
were
average
at
best.
Overall
I
rate
their
regular
pizzas
a
4.6,
the
Chicago
style
a
4.8,
the
sides
a
4.3,
and
the
price
for
the
quality
a
4.5
I
also
liked
this
place
more
than
Dewey's
and
Mellow
Mushroom,
due
to
the
better
artisan
selection
for
pizzas
and
the
option
to
get
Chicago
style
deep
dish.
Since
Google
doesn't
allow
decimal
reviews,
I
rounded
up
to
a
5.
