I will begin to just say it was meh. Slightly pricey for meh stuff. I wasn't impressed. Also it doesn't help that my service experience wasn't good. We came when it was empty and they seated us in a back corner where you're not even visible. 10 mins went by and no server ever came. The glasses were dirty and had lipstick stains on them. We moved to the bar sobthey could see us and service was tenfolds better. Some people have bad days which is normal but this was my experience none theless. I'll never go back just because the food was average. Looks great but could've had more flavor for the price.

While running around the city we decided to grab a bite of some Japanese. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we had. The Sushi, beer and appetizers were on point. Our server Aurora was knowledgeable and very bubbly. She made out experience well worth it. If you are in the downtown area and want something delicious stop in!

Our first time here, we LOVE sushi!! The sushi was really good! I always get raw fish, but the raw fish had a texture that threw me off ... I feel the cheaper priced specialty rolls were accurately priced, but some were just a little too much for how simple they really were. The service was incredible. The server was so personable! I didn't catch his name. Incredibly attentive, always refilling our waters once it hit halfway. Making sure we were having a great experience. I would definitely come back , and even bring friends/ family!

Disappointing experience. To start us off we got some cocktails - razzle dazzle and coconut coffee. They were okay. Next, we ordered chicken dumplings, spicy Korean chicken and pad Thai. We didn’t like most of the food as everything tasted sweet (although I specifically got spicy Korean chicken). The fish sauce in pad Thai was overwhelming. For desert we got the tiramisu which tasted good. The presentation of the food was awesome and our waiter was friendly.

I really enjoyed this place, ate a lot of sushi, it was the chef selection and there was a lot of good fish on the sashimi, my girlfriend also got the chicken katsudon, and the drinks were really good too. A good place to go if you are looking for sushi, and if you are going with someone who doesn’t want sushi, or wants drinks. The Japanese beer and the cocktail was really good. We went on Monday so it is hard to say how busy it normally is, but it was nice to have the patio area to ourselves

Stopped by Rishi Sushi Kitchen and Bar after watching Annie at the Palace Theater nearby. Smaller location, but easy seating. It was actually pretty empty for the time it was on a Saturday. Service was fine at first but slowed down as more people came in. It was okay sushi and the choices weren't huge but majority of the stuff was there. Toro Salmon was $9 a piece which seems like a lot. Others were like $2.50 to $5 per piece. The Rishi Ramen was okay but I wouldn't say it is ramen. It was more of a sweet soy broth and felt more like an udon broth. The Pacific roll read on the menu better than it came out. For one of the most expensive rolls, didn't think it was too special. Decent place, not the best sushi place or ramen bar

A so-so place. Sushi was good. Ramen was not; bland plain presentation with regular spinach, overcooked noodles, and an overcooked egg. Really not good at all, especially when compared with the 5-star ramen places in Cbus. The ambiance is ok. Could use a makeover. Seats on the lower level felt cavernous under the split level section. Not sure if we'll be back.

Water while I waited, thank the universe for exceptional customer service. Ray, bravo. . I will say the waiter and bartender are a dynamic team. Ray seemed to be the only waiter working. Ruining up and down stairs he still managed to stop and acknowledge me to make sure I was being taken care of not to mention mentioning that Perfection takes time and thank you for waiting those are the kind of people that managers and owners need to be aware of because their assets to their business Bravo Love it

The food was fantastic! I've lived a block away since I moved to this country in 2018. Not sure why it took so long but we'll sure be back to work our way through the amazing menu!

One of my goto places for lunch while I was in Columbus also my coworkers love this place, they have a great lunch option and nice sushi bar, they have outsiding area with in summer or went to warm make it very nice to sitdown. The lunch hours are from 11 am - 2:30 pm, and have a few bento box options. My favorite Bento box is #7 that brings white rice the topped is beef bulgogi, with 3pcs chicken dumplings, chicken egg roll, 3pcs Futomaki, seaweed salad and miso soup (only if you dinner in), the portion is pretty big and the taste of the food is very good, add hot sauce to the food it will give a great touch. The staff are very nice and fast a good thing because you need to move fast in the lunch hour.

This is the best kitchen in the city! The Curry Ramen made me cry tears of joy. The sushi was so fresh and well presented. 11/10 must go here

This place was recommended by a colleague so I visited one evening. I ordered shrimp shumai, cucumber salad, tofu with green beans and jasmine rice. I couldn’t stop eating the entree, I love when green beans are featured and executed correctly. The shumai was some of the best I’ve had and I enjoyed them being fried and served with Thai sweet chili sauce. Definitely worth the time to drive as I was 18 minutes away.

I’m new to rishi sushi but I am currently obsessed with it! It is INCREDIBLE and has so much variety. It’s for sure one of my new favorite sushi places here in Columbus. Their Long St Roll is my favorite, it’s SOOO good. Everything tastes so fresh, and they have options that aren’t sushi too which is great for my friends who prefer a ramen or noodle plate. I love getting take out from them because it’s so quick and easy, but eating there is awesome too because the restaurant has such a great ambiance. 10/10 recommend.

It's hit or miss here. It's a good place for sake. I did have a shrimp and rice dish that was good.

To be frank, the sushi was devine. Crab rangoon out of this world. Vibe, impeccable. Service was friendly and appreciated my well-founded critiques.

This was the best sushi I have had in years. I will be back over and over. The server was fantastic, the food was fast, plated well and marvelous. It was a bit cramped and if they were in a larger, more open location, I think they would be a top restaurant in Columbus. Absolutley fantastic. If you are a sushi fan, stop by. Leave the Rishi Rolls for me.

I have visited Columbus four times now and this is my second visit to Rishi. Lunch options were many, and I ordered a bento box (tofu), crab rangoon, and edamame. I also ordered the Just in Thyme mocktail, which was delicious. It was a Friday afternoon and wasn't busy at all. All five of us in our party were pleased with the food.

This was our first date night as new parents....My wife and I just walked out after no one came to our table for 10+ minutes. As we walked out the bartender (blonde hair on top) was on his phone and the lady (short black hair and piercings) who sat us said "thanks have a good night" as we walked out. Used to love coming here and the staff used to be great. Sad. Update: Came back and had a much better experience like we were used to. The food came out quickly, the servers were friendly and kept our drinks/waters full, and we had a wonderful date night this time around! Thank you for making it right!! 4 stars due to the last experience, but overall, it was a good night out.

Our waiter was new and he was fine. He did his best and he doesn't control the kitchen. I ordered 3 rolls, and I waited an hour, and other tables who were sat and ordered sushi after our table were served their sushi 15 minutes before we got ours. The manager never came over to apologize for the wait. It fell on our server to be the one to apologize for the wait. I understand we're still dealing with staff shortages but I'm so tired of that excuse anymore. When the sushi came out, the person who brought it didn't bring plates or dishes for soy sauce until we asked. I saw how many 4 Star reviews this place had so we chose it over other sushi places and what a disappointment. My bill was $55, which I know isn't the most expensive sushi bill but the rolls certainly were not worth their prices. I was just disappointed in the whole place. I am here in town for a conference and was looking forward to sushi. I asked the hotel what place to get sushi and I'll make sure to tell them not to recommend this place.

The snowflakes that work at this place make it not worth visiting. Immediately enforce the mask 🙄. Told me it would be 45 minutes for one order of sushi to go just to try to get me to leave, of course it only took 20. I try to sit at an empty bar just to read the menu and said I can't sit there. This is my second time there. My first time we had the most eccentric waiter ever that was doing way too much. Just take our order man. They also tried to say we are closing the first time trying to like rush us out when they didn't close for 45 mins. If you don't have neon blue hair probably can't get a job here. Sushi is pretty good even though they don't seem to have some of their cheaper items on the actual menu.

Delicious sushi! I had this for the first time as take out and it was so good. Definitely worth the money! Can’t wait to have it again soon!

The sushi was amazing and the customer service was great. The staff member that sat us down was super nice and after we had finished our food we chatted for a good 40 minutes. Super friendly and had a very proffers Iona like atmosphere.

This place was super fast! But the waitress told me a sushi order had 8 rolls but it was only 6

Easily the best sushi in Columbus! Staff are friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The super roll combo is more than enough for two people, and a great value.

Only 3 tables seated, but still a 15 minute wait with most tables empty? And requesting mask worn to walk 10 feet. I’m not sick, but if I were, it’s too late, that mask isn’t going to protect you now. Thank goodness there’s Aroma round the corner.
