Excellent food and service, food was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend! We had the sliders, both chicken and burgers as well as truffle fries! All of the food was exceptional!

Found in The Columbus Short North and convenient for a bite to eat before going to the game or a night out. Plenty of options for all types of eating, vegan, gluten free and regular diets. Close to the North Market and parking garage. Stop in.

First time here and it was pretty good. The time it took from when we arrived to when we got our food was quite a while. Our server said they were short staffed so we understood. My burger was good, but felt like it was sloppily made. The flavor wad there, but the ingredients were not evenly spread on the burger. Not that big of an issue, but all the spicy parts were in the last couple bites. Our server was pretty good, but he was running around a lot, due to low staff. I'd eat there again.

So get this out of the way the food is good.The burgers were very good the fries were ok. The drinks were great. They have their own sodas which was cool and the prickly pear situation was a great cocktail. I loved the atmosphere. The menu was very robust and was good for our friend with food allergies. The staff was hella nice and wonderful. Took care of all our needs. Highly recommend this place if you're around and want a burger.

We stopped in for dinner while in town for the weekend. The food was very good and the service was fantastic. The prices are very high for the quantity and quality of the food, though. Two adult burgers, one order of onion rings, a kid's meal, and three drinks came up to almost $75 after a moderate tip.

I went for the gluten free options. The pickle chips were great but I was upset they were out of gluten-free buns. My burger was good but it would have been better on a bun.

Phenomenal burger! I ordered a standard burger with tomatoes. The patty tasted fresh and juicy and toasted onions made it better. The service was excellent and WiFi was fast.

This place turned out to be absolutely wonderful. They had a really good selection of hamburgers and sandwiches, including fish and vegan options. My vegan burger was very tasty, as was the Southwest salad that I ordered to go with it. My husband confirmed the server's opinion that his was the best chicken in a sandwich that he has ever had. The prices were very, very reasonable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again whenever I have a chance.

If you are vegan/health conscious, this is the burger place for you. They include a calorie count for every item on their menu, and unlike most restaurants who offer 1 vegan burger they don’t even make in house, Bareburger has multiple vegan burger options. They also make their own condiments and sodas. Love it!!

My boyfriend is vegan and we visit Columbus once a year and every year he orders his burger from here. I guess they're pretty good! We've never gotten a chance to eat in as by time we get there it's close to closing time. The order pick up staff are usually pleasant!

The food is delicious!! The last time my fries were a bit over done (sweet potato) but still pretty good. The burger consistency is always there. I get the black bean burger as is-delicious!! Espresso martini is on point! Also the mules are good. There is something for everyone. Vegans, lactose intolerant etc. everything can be customized and they are very willing to do so. Tried the Brussels spouts no cheese, highly recommend! I will say it’s a place to go and enjoy the experience, casual pace, very cute.

Easily one of the best burgers I have ever had. I had the double standard with an over easy egg. The over easy egg was made like a piece of art!! Keto bun. I will be dreaming of it for eternity. Matt was an excellent server as well!!!

Great service! Delicious options. The high quality beef was obvious with every bite. My cheese burger was called the standard but there was nothing standard about it. The flavor was epic! If I get back to Columbus I will definitely be returning to this establishment.

Stopped in for lunch and waited 10 min for someone to acknowledge us……so we left. Came back for dinner with 5 people and they tried to sit us at a table barely big enough for 3 people. We left because they refused to sit us at a bigger table, even though there were 3 or 4 tables open.

My family and I were THRILLED when we found bare burger. Quality, conscious and sustainable ingredients and mission! Service was above and beyond with the fast preparation, and completion of order at the promised time. It’s in a central location in Columbus as well which makes pick up or dining in convenient!!! Very very pleased🤗

They were very slow.... We were told 30 minutes wait. Ended up waiting an hour. When we got seated they brought us water but never took out order. We waited another 15-20 minutes for them to take our order. Then waited another 20 minutes for our food. When they say sweet pickles that's literally what it is. Not fried just a half pint jar of sweet pickles. The sweet potato fries were amazing though. And the wrangler was very delicious. It is a higher paying restaurant. For all the time we waited it wasn't really worth it.

It was solid. I didn't love it, but I'd go back again. Everything tasted fresh and the device was good.

Ate here on a volleyball tournament in Columbus. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was really tasty! I loved my cheeseburger and my fries! One of my daughters is gluten free so she finally had a lot of options available and she loved her food! Our whole family loved our food and our service was great!! I liked the decorations and overall vibe too!

The food here is extremely fresh, tasty and very enjoyable. This is a great option for those seeking plant-based meals -- several options to from which to choose. In our party of five we each tried something different and each person was satisfied with their choice. The location of the restaurant, the staff and atmosphere were also pluses. So why the four stars? I give it four stars because I personally think burgers should come automatically with a side (fries, etc.) but those are add-ons here, which can make for a pricey, albeit thoroughly enjoyable meal. So four stars for the price, but if you subscribed to the "you get what you pay for" mentality than absolutely five stars. Will we come back? Absolutely.

First time here... Things were good. The staff was nice and didn't rush us. Once we decided the orders arrived promptly and correctly. No one had any complaints about the quality or taste of their meals. Good place to go when you want a sit down burger and fries and don't mind paying a bit more for better quality

We were very pleased with our lunch at Bareburger. I went with 4 kids and every left happy and full which is no small feat. I had time choosing among the options and eventually decided on the bison burger which was impressively flavorful. My very picky daughter who is gluten sensitive got the burger on a gluten free bun and proclaimed it was one of the best gluten free burgers she's had. She's returned several times since then and never had left overs to take home.

HOLY GUACAMOLE BATMAN!! This burger place is legit DYNAMITE. Love HOW many gluten free options are available. Obsessed with the buffalo breaded chicken sandwich, with picked, Jalepanps, special sauce, and pepper jack cheese. Super cute on the inside and the food is killer. I wish I had photos but I couldn't stop myself to take a break from eating the tasty goodness to snap some pics. 10/10 would recommend 😍🤤

I ordered my burger medium-rare and it arrived very overcooked, to the point of being quite dry. The flavor of the toppings was wonderful, this burger would have been amazing if it was cooked properly. The pickle chips were also delicious, as were the fries. But I payed $18 for this burger, plus tip, this is an over 20 dollar burger. To overcook it this badly is unacceptable.

Got dinner here while in town for a convention. The staff here is very attentive, the full bar is quick, the food is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy casual but the table service is more akin to a fancier restaurant. The restaurant was packed with a very large birthday party, but it never seemed to impact our wait times. I would recommend the elk burger, it was juicier and more flavorful than the average.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I have gluten and dairy allergies and struggle to find decent places to eat so Bareburger was an absolute dream come true for me! Staff was knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. My burger was the best I'd had in Ohio hands down, the gluten free bun was sturdy, large, and tasty...thing things you usually don't find in gluten free buns. Menues were well laid out and easy to read. 10/10 will recommend to everyone.

My husband and I are NOT adventurous at all, usually eat at the same chain restaurants for all of our nights out lol. We walked by here and decided to give it a shot, so glad we did!!! The food tastes high quality, and the chicken is absolutely delicious. Even the ketchup I used was better than bottled! Can’t say enough good things, and knowing it was organic made it even better! Our waitress Julie was so kind too! Great experience!

It's just a burger place. The burgers were good but not great. Good fries. Good fried pickles. Server was good but did miss one fry order that we didn't really need. I'd rather this food show up in a dive bar for less money.

We stayed in the area over the weekend. We had high hopes for this restaurant as we had checked with the hotel for recommendations. When we got to the restaurant, they were able to seat us right away. The same host gave us water and menus. We didn't see our waitress for 15 minutes. When she did come to our table we let her know we were ready to order. She took our drink order and left for another5 minutes. She came back, we placed our food order of simple foods, and away she went. The restaurant was really not super busy so it really didn't make sense why it too so long. We kept seeing staff go past and never did they come check on us. After 30 minutes, our food came. Some of the food was good others was cold. The kids were tired and I was frustrated so we didn't say anything. The place itself was really nice and clean but they need to work on people skills and not ignore hungry children.

Incredible place to hang out. We visited twice during our time in Columbus. The first time we ate. We had to wait awhile for the rest of our party to arrive. The staff was kind and courteous while we waited. They kept our glasses filled and checked in on us. For lunch we had a phenomenal burger called the National which was made with Wagyu with a side of Fries upgraded to the Spicy Bacon Ranch Style. The fries were incredible and I couldn't stop eating them. My wife chose to build her own burger going with beef, blue cheese and bacon along with a side of regular fries. She enjoyed her burger and loved the fries. The fries at Bareburger are amazing. Whether you get the regular or upgraded version they are cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The second time we visited we just stopped in for a couple of drinks in the early afternoon. The staff were pleasant and engaged in nice conversation with us. The atmosphere was inviting, quiet, and relaxing.

This was a very hearty and flavor packed black bean burger. Super cute theme within the restaurant, and the staff was super accomodating.

I hate to tell people about this place if they don’t already know about it, because I don’t want to have to wait in a line around the block when I’m in Columbus and hungry… because that’s what I fear will happen if everyone knew how amazing the food is here. Absolutely. Hands down. The BEST chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. So good that I literally came here for lunch and enjoyed one every single day while I was working nearby a couple weeks ago. Fair warning, you will have to wait a bit for your food to come out… but it is WELL worth every second. The kitchen clearly makes every dish fresh to order and it is what separates them from the rest. You can thank me later!

My second time dining here while at the ODA annual convention. There is no wait for a table, the staff is always very friendly and prompt. Food and drinks are delicious and high quality. You can tell that they take pride in their work. Can’t wait to return!

Very good. Had an amazing gluten free bun. Wasn't able to tell it was gf and it didn't fall apart. They also can make any burger a lettuce wrap. Cool atmosphere, nice staff.

I had dinner here & it was pretty good. I’d say the prices are..up there for burgers given that for some they are $16. The happy hour drinks are also tasty, I especially liked the Kentucky mule. My biggest complaint was the gnats & someone was screaming about a bug at their table? The cleanliness was a bit off. The server was super cool though.

My husband and I were recommended to try this place by a friend so we decided to take our friend from Japan here (well, we ordered to go, lol). We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the Sweeet Bird chicken sammich with panko and a fried egg, fries, and the S'mmmmore's sundae. The sanwhich was unlike any chicken sandwich that I've ever had before! It was sweet, savory, and juicy. 🍯🤤 Although, I'm glad it was wrapped because it was a bit messy and sticky. 🤣 The s'mores sundae was good but definitely not worth $10.99. A frightful price for some Graham cracker pieces, ice cream, chocolate sauce, and marshmallow. 🤐 My husband ordered the Supreme cheeseburger with Applewood smoked bacon and onion rings. 🍔 He said his meal was tasty, flavored well, and a great portion size. 😊 My friend ordered the Farmstead (I didn't get a photo of her sandwich) and she said she thoroughly enjoyed her food. Overall, I would definitely order from here again but I will be more mindful of the cost of some items. 🤑

I have only done take out from here. The burgers are great. Ingredients taste very fresh and homemade. Fries, Onion rings and shakes seem a bit overpriced. But mind that the burgers are a plus!

Although I had the grilled chicken, which was tender juicy and very flavorful without tasting salty, I noticed a few others with burgers and they looked just as delicious. The fries were a little heavy on the seasoning but still crispy in all the right spots. Burger Theory is located inside the Holiday Inn, but even still, it had it's own charm without being over powered by the hotel atmosphere. The bar tender was quick attentive, and courteous. Great service all around. The beer selection was great ranging from IPA to darker brews and local brands. A nice off the beaten path spot, in Columbus.

Had high hopes. Quality of the burger wasn’t the issue...just all 3 burgers were cooked well done. We asked for medium rare. Disappointed.

Good Burgers

Amazing food! We loved the burgers and macho fries. Thai Chia Burger's the best. First ever I had with the green pea, quinoa patty and loved it. The fact that vegetarians like me have more than 1 option to choose from is another plus for me. They are keeping the place clean too. That makes me feel safe to visit the place again. The only thing is food took longer to arrive but it was worth the wait!

I went with group of 5 people. They couldn't get the medium and medium rare right. Only got the well done right. In fact, all of them were well done.

We were loyal Clintonville location goers, every Wednesday. This was the short north location second chance from us. We ordered at counter and paid before we sat down. Both our orders of fries did not have cheese and were so salty that it burned my lips. They were out of Bison and even though it said they had the buttermilk chicken on the menu, which was my favorite thing at this place. They said it was discontinued for some time. The Brussels sprouts were also extremely salty. This was your last chance Bareburger. We will not becoming back again.

Food and service were amazing. We didn't seek this place out; it found us! A group of us were doing the escape room next door and spotted this restaurant. As an avid bear lover, I couldn't not eat here!! The bear decor was phenomenal, and the manager (unfortunately we didn't get his name). Will definitely be going again!

This place is absolutely number one if you have food allergies, or are simply looking for better, cleaner food !! Jordan and Nick the managers are very friendly as well as the whole staff! Highly recommend!! My go to for all my date nights or lunches 💗
