Never tried Nepalese/Himalayan good before so I knew I had to give it a go. The look like Chinese dumplings but are slightly bigger, almost like a small bao or ciao long bao. There's not a lot if choices and that's not a bag thing. I prefer specializing and playing to your strength than a restaurant going mile wide and inch deep. I wanted to try them all but gotta reserve room for other food so the combo was the choice, with pork and chicken. Both were great but the pork stood out more with a herbal flavor infused in it. The home made sauce went really well with it, a savory and hint of heat in it, I dunked my mom in them and could drink it as a soup all day. That's how good it was. Awesome find!

It's sad to see how far they've fallen since being featured of Triple D. Sadly a lot of restaurants quit trying and this is definitely one of them. The dumplings were dry, flavorless and im pretty sure frozen, the sauce tasted like water. Honestly we didn't finish them, they were that bad. The nashville hot chicken place upstairs is amazing. Go there instead.

We got the jhol momo. Dumplings were very juicy. It was our first time coming to the North Market. The woman was very nice. I felt like the price was a little too much for 8 dumplings.

I am a vegetarian and I was happy they had 2 different flavors momo I could try. I did not like the potato one, way too much cilantro for my personal taste but I did like the other veggie one. My partner really liked the pork ones he got. Overall pretty tasty and fun to try. I love walking around and trying new places in the North Market, however there are some spots I enjoy more than Momo Ghar. I do think it's worth trying though since they have many options and they're quite filling! Plus the people working there were very nice and fun to talk to while waiting for our food.

Went because I saw they were on diners drive-ins and dives. Overall experience was underwhelming. Very simple menu yet the food was just okay. Too salty and lacking in flavor. Got some fresh and some to go frozen to take home with me.

Great dumplings and a fun crowd setting. There are a lot of people who come here for their legendary dumplings. They were amazing. The sauce with it was super flavorful but ridiculously hot, which I like hot so it was amazing. There was hardly no wait, and the guy who made the dumplings was there giving me a story of how they are freshly prepared daily by him. He was a really cool guy.

If you are looking for authentic momo's then this is the place. Momos are served hot right from the stove. Few options here to choose and I loved their sauce too. Definitely I would recommend to try this out.

Best place to get some good MOMO around Columbus. Their momo are authentic and flavorful. Their location in the north market makes it the best. I visit there and have some food and do some fresh meat and fruit shopping. So it is worth a try.

It was my first time trying Momo...because I usually can't keep myself from the Pho next door. Lol. We had the #2 Tibetan Momo, and they were outstanding. Simple flavors that are brought to life by the house Jhol sauce, and the hot sauce. Excellent, and I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu next time.

My 2nd visit to Columbus and this shop. I got 3 flavors this time; Kathmandu, Tibetan, and vegetables. All three are so good including the soup and the hot sauce. It's really spicy so be careful.

I wandered into the North Market by chance on my first trip to Columbus. I met the owner Phuntso who was really warm and welcoming. She made me her favorite dishes, and even shared the food she was eating with me. I’d recommend 10 out of 10. Amazing food and even better service created by engaging owners.

The dumplings were good we order the tibetan and the chicken garlic dumplings, my only complaint is that the broth comes in a tiny micro container, just like two or three tablespoons of broth and no other condiments... Not enough to enjoy 8 dumplings

The lady working was so sweet and was super helpful when recommending things to me since I had never been. She even told me the best way to eat the dumplings. I got the jhol momo (the chicken one), and it was amazing.

Stoped in today and got the pork and chicken combo. They were tender and the spices in the mix were just right. The sauce was a little spicy for my liking but was very flavorful. Would certainly stop in again!

My friends and I ordered the beef and chicken dumplings. They came with about eight in a plate with amazing sauce that has a spicy kick! Service was fast and clean. The owner is very passionate about his work and is very proud of his wife who cooks the food from original recipes! Nicely paired with boba tea from across the hallway! Highly suggested that you try this place out when you visit the North Market!

I came here in 2019 when location was inside Saraga international market. It was delicious back then—a real treat and experience, hard to find. The videos and pictures you see are from back then to give you an idea of what it used to be. *Now it’s only to-go containers. Awful for the environment. *Portions are half of what they used to be. *Flavor is zero of what it used to be. I don’t know how you can ruin something great. Why? I think everything is frozen and steamed on site. Bread is not the same as well. It was a special place. Kitchen was right in front and visible to those lucky diners that sat at the bar. From there it was special to see the food being prepared and served to you in bowls NOT plastic containers with a pre measured plastic container of broth. Terrible experience and food all around. Maybe the original owners sold it to someone capitalizing on the Bon Apetit article and Guy Fieri visit? I certainly hope that’s the case. Nothing makes sense. Either way stay away and don’t believe the hype. Waste of money and time. Perhaps one day one of the original owners will realize what a special place and food they had and bring back the quality and service of the old Mo Mo Ghar.

Just got back from my birthday meal at MOMO! We ordered each of the 5 dumplings they had and all were delicious! Personally, the pork momo was my favorite!! If you get a chance, make this a stop on any trip to the Arena District!

Just stopped by the North Market for some Johol Momos. Been going to Momo Ghar back when they had a restaurant in the Saraga International Marketplace and they never disappoint, always delicious! I couldn’t wait to eat them, so this is all that’s left today. I did get a couple of orders to make at home, so excited! 🥰😛

Two words: Aloo Momo! These little dumpling / pierogi type of snacks are so good! Perfect amount of heat and flavor. They come to about $1.25 each, which is pretty reasonable. The Bodi side dish is pretty good too and interesting flavors. Great service too.

Absolutely incredible! Tried the Darj Momos and they were incredible. Definitely try them with the hot sauce! It is hot but takes them to an even higher level! 10/10

We tried the Tibetan Momo. The pork filling was not as tender as it could have been. The dish could have also benefited from vegetables in the filling to add to the texture and flavor.

This was everything I was hoping and more! Nepalese/Tibetan food, mostly dumplings in house made sauce. The spices are similar to indian spices and are wonderfully savory. It pairs so well with the chicken dumplings. I will certainly be back for more!

Awesome dumpings. Very traditional and excellent sauce. When I ordered, I could tell they weren't freshly made, but frozen and cooked as needed. But they still were great tasting. Serve was friendly and good.Ding To Fung on the west coast still is the best.
