We’ve
been
to
this
location
several
times.
Every
time
before
our
most
recent
was
a
good
experience,
but
our
most
recent
visit
was
poor.
The
restaurant
was
not
very
busy
at
all.
We
asked
for
a
booth,
and
there
were
many
open
booths.
The
host
froze.
It
was
as
if
we
had
asked
him
to
eat
on
the
roof.
He
was
honestly
stuck
for
several
minutes,
after
which
he
offered
us
another
table
in
the
middle
of
the
restaurant.
We
politely
asked
if
we
could
have
a
booth
instead.
He
froze
again.
There
was
some
collaboration
with
a
few
servers,
who
were
rude
and
exhibited
a
lot
of
attitude
toward
us.
It
was
a
simple
request
that
gets
asked
often.
My
wife
and
I
have
both
worked
in
the
service
industry
at
various
venues.
We
know
how
it
works
to
usher
guests
into
server
sections.
We
also
know
that
it’s
never
an
issue
when
a
restaurant
is
not
busy
that
a
guest
asks
for
a
specific
location.
Any
good
server
will
take
the
extra
table
because
it’s
more
money.
We
were
not
at
the
restaurant
near
closing.
It
was
sparsely
populated.
Eventually
a
manager
came
to
the
host
stand
and
asked
rudely
if
we
were
waiting
for
him.
We
were
calm
and
polite
and
simply
said
we’d
like
to
have
a
booth
if
it
was
possible.
After
searching
the
restaurant
he
offered
us
a
booth
in
the
bar
area,
but
they
were
all
full.
He
said
it
would
be
a
15
minute
wait.
There
were
several
booths
open
in
the
rest
of
the
restaurant,
and
several
servers
standing
around
at
this
point.
By
then
it
was
clear
that
we
were
an
inconvenience
to
the
staff,
and
they
made
out
to
make
sure
we
knew
we
were
an
inconvenience.
This
is
not
good
protocol
for
the
service
industry.
No
one
was
kind.
No
one
aimed
to
explain
anything.
We
had
a
simple
request
and
were
treated
like
something
other
than
guests
at
a
restaurant,
whose
whole
purpose
is
to
serve
guests
in
a
welcoming
environment.
We
won’t
be
going
back
to
this
location.
