As a student, Bistro 2110 is a great way to spend any leftover blocks from a meal plan at the end of the semester. The food is fairly overpriced for the quality, and the staff can be condescending to students, but that's understandable since they don't receive tips from students using meal plans. Outside of student plans though it seems like a good restaurant for being inside of a hotel, but the quality of the food and the overall bland atmosphere makes it unappealing to things other than business meetings and students.

Good upscale campus dining spot. It was by far the best place to go as a student when you had leftover swipes on your meal plan.

Very limited breakfast buffet, no veggies at all. Should be half of the price for the food options they have

Not what I expected when I made my Valentine's Dinner reservation. There was a set menu which our server told us we could not alter (when I made the reservation, no such set menu was mentioned). My glass of wine took at least 10 minutes to arrive. My appetizer was the only highlight of the meal, but while I was looking outside at the snow, the server took it away before I had finished without asking. A few moments later she returned to check on our meals (which arrived as we were still working on the first course) and we asked if she was boxing up the appetizer since I still had about a quarter of it left. She said no, but fortunately it is on their every day menu so we can come back any time and have it again. She did not offer to bring another even though we reminded her that I had not yet finished it. There was a large chunk of melon in my husband's Caesar salad, which she said it not normal. Dinner was less than satisfactory, but having both worked in the restaurant industry for years, we did not complain because it was still edible. We overheard the server near our section describing featured items on the menu as well as informing other diners that if there was an item not listed on tonight's set menu that they really had their hearts set on, they could still order that (our server told us the set menu was our only option). Overall, we were very displeased with our first experience here and will not return. As alums, we had high hopes for The Blackwell Bistro based on pictures from the website and the viewable menu. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and ended up ordering a pizza after we returned home.

Ate here with a group of friends last night before visiting the OSU planetarium. The atmosphere was not particularly interesting, just a cavernous room in a hotel. The meal was nothing to write home about, although I did like the bread and pesto butter. Plenty of options for vegetarians were available, and in fact these were the most modestly-priced choices. The servers were polite enough, but a bit disorganized, and slower than one would expect given that it was not the least bit crowded. We needed a place to dine in the middle of campus, and it served the purpose well enough.

american food here - super tasty. don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait. will surely make a return trip. the bill was well within reason for the quality.

Lunch/Dinner Items may arrive at the table differently than described in the menu. They are generally understaffed, but those who work there are nice. Breakfast buffet was well-priced and the food looked good; however, many items were cold and/or old. They also need real butter. "Whipped buttery spread" is nasty stuff.

Fairly unremarkable fare and bland atmosphere. Some dishes mediocre, and not worth the price. Bar is apparently not well-stocked. I'd only recommend it if you're staying at the hotel or have to have a business meal on campus.

Pretty disappointing considering this is supposed to be the flagship hotel for OSU. I ordered the Tuttle Park Way omelet. Eggs were overcooked and did not come with hash browns as described. Incredibly sub-par dining experience. 1/10 would not go again.

Delicious food; great prices! Try the risotto and gourmet Mac and cheese. Also Blackwell salad. Yum!

Game day at the Blackwell is always good. The bartenders are crazy busy, but they always smile, have buckeye spirit, and make a really good drink!
