5 stars for sure. This is a great lunch spot for down town Columbus. Large menu of sandwiches and wraps. Great home made pasta salads and desserts. Everything is fresh and the staff here is always awesome. Have been going here for years and the quality has never changed! Welcomed updates to the inside and patio recently. Of you are in the area definatley stop in to try the Philly Cajun Ruben, turkey Ruben, gyro wrap or any of their other awesome sandwhiches!!

Got the veggie omelet for breakfast here, and it was bomb! Super yummy, healthy and filling. Fast service and great prices. Would def go back

This is my wife's favorite lunch spot when we go out to lunch. The owners and staff are authentically friendly, and they serve well. Food is always fresh and good.

Delicious! The turkey Reuben was outstanding, the crinkle fries were crispy and delicious- didn't even dip them, and the turtle pie tasted homemade and was delightful.

Quaint and cozy place for breakfast. The Albanian Breakfast Plate was delicious. Eggs, potatoes, onions, spinach and feta cheese with a few olives on top served with toast. Was the only person there at 8:15 am on a Monday. Coffee is good too. Friendly service.

I recon this is the best breakfast deal in the neighborhood- standard breakfast staples, but also a touch of Greek if you're so inclined (I was). Order at the counter, and they bring it out. And will come back out and check on ya. Good selection, cooked while you wait, and reasonably priced. I came back later in the week (here for a conference). It's on the basement level, so a short flight of stairs down but even so there is outdoor seating with a street view. You get a good secluded vibe. I gave it a 3* for atmosphere, but I liked the "tucked away" feel of it. Just don't bring your granny with her walker. I suggest: free refills on coffee. Because it's easy enough to make, coffee is fresher and people love it when you do that.

I’ve seen this place tucked away on State for a while and finally got a chance to go. I loved it! The service was friendly and the food was phenomenal. I ordered the Albanian breakfast with gyro meat and I could easily eat that every day. Good flavor, and I loved the hot sauce on the side. Definitely going back for a gyro and some baklava!

This is a great place to support small business which is privately operated by a very nice family. The food is deli style always good and generous i love this place

This place is a hidden gem. A quaint cafe that offers something for everyone. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make sure you’re fully satisfied. I went there with my family, a group of 10, and we were welcomed in and served timely. I’m from PA but I highly recommend.

This place is run by the nicest people in Columbus. The bacon omelet has an amazing taste. I'm not sure what spices are used but it is delicious. The homefries are excellent as well. The coffee is always hot, strong and tasty. The service is always the best. My wife and I drive an hour just to have breakfast and it is well worth it. Do not miss this place if you are in town.

Well was reading menu outside when 2 people raved about their food. I went in to get a gyro maybe my mistake. 4 pieces of meat clearly not cut off the rotisserie. Too much salad instead in it. Maybe it's where I'm from but meat n tzatziki sauce. I'm guessing other stuff is better. Service great. $10 for 4 pieces of meat, lettuce,sauce,pita and lays chips. Not what I expected.

Very nice atmosphere, food was good, had the Italian sub.. it was light and refreshing... could have used 1 more slice of meat however very good.

Outstanding breakfast! Two omelettes, iced coffees, breakfast potatoes, and English muffins... $20, and delicious! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the whole experience.

On my way to the office, thought I'd give Cafe Illyria a try rather than a chain restaurant. Just had a breakfast sandwich and coffee. It was served quickly and tasted great; have had better coffee elsewhere. Will definitely go back to try something else.

Cool little sandwich shop in the middle of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Feels like it would fit right into New York’s Hells Kitchen district or quaint upper neighborhoods in San Francisco. Good food at an affordable price, I highly recommend Cafe Illyria

Best Chicken Pinni in ALL of Central Ohio. I have never had anything bad or even just OK. Everything is good.

I'd give a 10/10 if I could. We had the breakfast 17 ) a 12 inch queasadilla with sausage, and a veggie panni. Delicious

I was kind of bummed when I saw they use pre sliced gyro meat instead of an actual rack of meat that's shaved off. I only got like 3.5 strips or 4 strips of meat total, and it's the pre-made stuff you buy at the grocery store. Two gyro meals with the exact same thing cost 23.00, I am not even sure how when the gyro itself is 6.99, extra sauce .50, fries 1.50. So total that was 17.98...so there was magically 6 dollars and some change added on there. The sauce was great. Just wish the food was worth the price. I'll stick with Anna's Greek restaurant ♡

Great little hole in the wall lunch spot. We had the regular greek gyro, gyro wrap, and a spicy sandwich I don't remember the name of. Everything was delicious. Only complaint is I'm almost never I'm town while they're open, but it makes it all the more special when I get to go.

The food is awesome, the service is great, and I always have an excellent experience. Highly recommend checking it out if you want a good lunch/ breakfast downtown.

The food had great flavor, but my omelet was just a little overcooked for my liking. I didn't eat it right away though, I ordered takeout, so the time spent in the styrofoam container between there and work may have affected the quality of food somewhat. For the amount of food though, the price seemed a bit high, but it is downtown Columbus, where things are more expensive. I would still go back and order again but maybe next time ask if my omelette could be cooked a little softer and I would dine in. The latte was really good! Definitely get one!

5/2/2023 @ about 10:15 a.m. My first time going to that Cafe. The food is very BASIC. Also, have a weird nasty taste to the expresso ice white chocolate mocha and chicken meat gyro. Too much lettuce in Gyro. Served quickly. Customer Service very nice. Expensive for the low quality of food. I will not be going there again.

They've started putting less meat on their sandwiches. They're still tasty as ever but, sandwiches need more meat for the cost.

Love going here for lunch! The atmosphere reminds me of a few places I visited in France. Worth checking out!

The Albanian panini that this place gives me whenever I have the money is without the most reliable, honest, wonderful experience this side of a sunset over the Mississippi (river). I have brought many friends here to heal ourselves from the previous nights poisons, and we leave still talking about the food. Eat here.

Gyro was ok. I heard the fries are great but the fryer was broken the day I was there....

First time eating here, I had the Greek omelette with house fries which was delicious. The establishment is very friendly and welcoming, always checking up on you to see if you need anything else to make your food any better. The patio is a very nice place to sit out for a cup of coffee or to enjoy your breakfast (which is what I did). Great way to spend a morning. I would definitely come back again to try out the rest of their menu.

If you get the chance, stop in. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and killer breakfast. I had the Albanian scramble and I'd recommend it to anybody! It's pretty close to the Greyhound station, so it's great for grabbing a quick bite of local food as opposed to all the chain places.
