I
came
on
a
busy
night,
and
they
were
short
staffed
all
throughout
the
house,
to
be
fair.
It
took
more
than
a
few
minutes
for
the
owner
to
make
it
to
the
door
to
seat
us,
and
then
much
longer
for
anyone
to
greet
us.
Ok,
that’s
life
these
days,
and
I’ve
always
liked
this
restaurant,
so
I
dealt.
Looking
at
the
menu,
I
noticed
the
price
increase.
Dramatic.
I
dine
out
a
lot,
these
prices
were
out
of
line.
My
friend
and
I
split
a
large
wedge
salad,
meh.
The
blue
cheese
dressing
tasted
like
the
cheapest
bottled
version
they
could
find,
almost
no
tomatoes
or
bacon.
My
friend’s
ravioli
was
bland,
and
the
pasta
itself
also
looked
premade.
I
ordered
chicken
piccata.
The
side
dish
of
fettuccine
Alfredo
was
delicious.
The
chicken
itself
was
cooked
properly,
but
the
sauce….I
can’t
call
it
sauce,
and
there
was
WAY
too
much
of
it.
Pretty
sure
that
sauce
was
jarred
chicken
gravy
with
some
lemon
juice
and
capers
stirred
in.
Huge
disappointment.
Don’t
order
more
bread,
that’s
now
$3,
and
it’s
not
remarkable
bread
by
any
stretch.
We
were
served
by
the
owner’s
wife,
who
doubled
as
bartender.
She
was
lovely,
competent,
and
funny.
I’m
sorry
to
see
one
of
my
favorite
restaurants
struggling
so
much.
I
can
only
guess
it’s
Covid
related.
I’ll
wait
awhile
before
I
give
it
another
shot.
