I really appreciated the front desk staff here. I recently stayed at the hotel for a family member's wedding downtown. I forgot to put a mask in my purse and was out front and dressed to the nines for the wedding when I realized Uber was requiring passengers to be masked- whoops! The front desk kindly gave me a disposable mask and I was on my way. They were also great with passing out gift bags to guests on behalf of the married couple, as well as directing everyone to the room where brunch was being held. The brunch spread was varied and delicious with a lot of higher end attention to detail. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I plan on shopping for my own through their website. Our stay was perfect and exactly what we needed after a busy day of festivities. I also love the artwork they have displayed throughout the hotel.

I was at the Hilton for a conference, and the accommodations were great. My room was a touch of modern luxury. I loved the convenience of the Skywalk to connect the two towers and the ease of accessing the convention center. The staff was so friendly and available to meet my request. I will recommend location for business and personal travel.

I love this hotel. We are local and sometimes we stay just for fun. The new tower is really nice as well. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're coming in from out of town. Its right downtown and pretty high end! The new rooftop bar/restaurant was a nice addition!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HOTEL downtown Columbus if you’re visiting the conference center across the street. Stayed in the new tower and was first ever in the room on the top floor just for asking. Modern amenities, comfortable beds, and quick service for extra towels. Breakfast buffet to die for, but pricey, and plenty of near access to other great food venues makes this an easy choice. Valet parking exists but I prefer the convenience of self parking in the conference center.

This is the best hotel in town. We were in the new tower which was lovely and had great service. Rooms were very nice but a little on the small side with a mini desk not so ideal for serious work. Nice bathroom, had fridge, microwave and even a bottle to fill with filtered water available at ice machine. One bummer ice is only on the odd floors, so if you're on an even, plan to take a flight of stairs or elevator when you need it!

From the moment we handed the keys to the valet, we experienced some of the most genuine and incredible service. The front desk, restaurant staff, and valet we're all so kind and gracious. The building itself is a wonder and the rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a Hilton property. Thank you; we will be returning soon!

This was my first time staying in a 4 star hotel and let me tell you, you get what you pay for. It’s a gorgeous hotel, especially the new tower. Room was very clean. Quiet (with the exception of the boneheads on High street with their loud exhausts, but on the 18th floor it wasn’t terrible) but that’s not the hotels fault. Well laid out room. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s also nice that the convention center and the Hyatt are all tied together with the Hilton and are accessible without even going outside. It’s quite a hike from the tower to the parking garage but that would be my only complaint I would have with the whole place. I would absolutely recommend and would absolutely stay again if I were in the area.

The overall experience of the building and location was amazing. I was told by my wife The building is just over a year old (402), but there were a handful of issues in our room for being so new. The refrigerator didn't work, the fan and the bathroom didn't work. And the fancy glass shower doors were too heavy and would slide open during your shower dumping a bunch of water on the floor. Other than that, they had a great selection of markets/restaurants, as well as different themed bars.

Fantastic stay. Worth the money, with the exception of a small annoyance with our room. The ad online was misleading as it says the rooms have a glass door shower and instead our room had a tub/shower combo. Other than that, the hot tub was excellent, pool was relaxing and I would DEFINITELY recommend a trip to Stories On High as they have excellent drinks and a great atmosphere. The elevator is tricky though. You need to tap your card on the scanner then select the floor number. Parking garage nearby which was very handy. I would stay again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very professional staff. The room was great, no complaints there! High Street was very noisy with motorcycles, ATVs (!) and cars with loud engines revving into the early morning hours. To the point that it disturbed our sleep on the 7th floor. Knowing that, if I had children there I would request a quieter room on the back (east) side of the building. It was summer and there was a large event in town so maybe it is not always so noisy. The hotel certainly couldn’t be faulted for the street noise. The price is what you would expect for this type of hotel downtown. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the rates were not hiked with the event going on.

We had a wonderful stay. We were traveling with a two and four year old and they provided the crib for our youngest, and gave us a room where we only shared one wall with others which I'm guessing was to keep everyone happy should the kids cry or get loud... we definitely appreciated that. The room was a bit small but it was clean and comfortable, the rest of the hotel is gorgeous. The valet staff were very helpful and friendly, as was the front desk. The pool and whirlpool were wonderful as well. We hope to return next time we're in the area.

Great location for a hotel. As soon as you come out and go to the left , there are so many restaurants, bars, shops, clubs, etc. all within walking distance or even if you want to get an electric scooter. They also have bikes across the street to rent. The pool was a saltwater pool, with a hot tub. The breakfast was amazing. All of the food was made to perfection. I’d stay here every time I come to Columbus.

Absolutely wonderful and luxurious stay here. The hotel is gorgeous and very well-kept. Gym was a large space, well-equipped and very clean. Room was extremely clean and comfortable with a great view of downtown. One of the key things that was impressionable was the staff. Anytime we would enter from either the main entrance or the side entrance to head to the elevators, the staff at the front desk (which was quite further away) would always greet us no matter what. The valet staff was very courteous and welcoming and the housekeeping staff was attentive and would greet us from even all the way down the hall.

We had a pleasant stay at The Hilton. The rooms were very clean, after hours room service for fresh towels was prompt. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet. The food was delicious, fairly priced and convenient. Also the after hour store was a great service, for snacks, drinks, ice-cream etc...the night manager was very professional and cordial. We will definitely stay here whenever we're in Columbus Ohio.

The Staff were excellent at meeting our needs! They handed us masks upon request, but never demanded we wear them. Neither did they shame us for not having any with us upon arrival to the Hotel. They also offered our 6 year old some toys which completely made his day! Cory went out of his way to make sure that all our needs were met while we were sitting in the Lobby enjoying pastries from the Bakery. The pool and spa were clean and well taken care of. Matt was a perfect waiter that was there when needed, but not pushy in the slightest! The beds were soft and luxurious to sleep in. Overall, our experience was EXCELLENT!! Wish more Hotels were like this one!!

Very nice venue for banquets and special events. Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes đź‘€ in modern fashion. Didn't really like the way I had to walk so far in the parking deck to get to the main floor inside. The signage could definitely be better. We went to a mystery dinner and the food was quite nice. đź‘Ť I'd definitely give them a call if you're looking for a nice venue to host your special event.

Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel! We had a corner room over-looking High Street . Not only was the view (at night) stunning , during the day we could see planes flying in and out of John Glenn International Airport . So cool! The rooftop bar was stunning! When we got to our room, we attempted to find an ice machine. One of the housekeeping staff members walked us to the ice machine rather than pointing us to it. Now that’s service !!! Brunch at FYR was delicious ! The buffet was meticulously displayed. The pastry chef made a point to come to our table letting us know he just brought out fresh baked chocolate croissants. To die for ! Our server , Anthony, was very attentive and soooo nice ! Kudos to Richard Polk for running a very well organized Valet service ! From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, every one of the guys were extremely respectful and very nice. Highly recommend The Hilton Columbus Downtown !

We recently had a last minute trip to Columbus and booked two nights at the Hilton Downtown. We arrived late at night and even then, the valet service was phenomenal. They addressed any questions, gave us an overview of where everything was in the hotel, and even recommended some things to do in the nearby area. Check in was easy, there was some small confusion with the computer system thinking we booked 3 rooms, and again the next day when the system wasn’t communicating with Fyr for our prepaid breakfast, but the staff makes everything handled so easily that it was really no issue at all. Upon checkout, we had a bit of a delay with valet, but the supervisor Richard noticed us standing outside for a little longer than expected and approached us to check in. He comped us one night of valet and was EXTREMELY helpful, kind, really went above and beyond. Best valet experience I’ve had by a long shot. Richard, you’re incredible!

I am frequently in Columbus for both business and pleasure, I usually stay at a neighboring hotel. However, when my usual hotel was booked, I figured I would try the Hilton. My three day stay at the Hilton has changed my future Columbus travel plans for sure! I arrived early and was warmly greeted by Melissa at check in, who quickly found a room immediately. Because I knew I’d be in and out I used the valet service for my car. All I can say is WOW! The attached convention center had three busy events as well as patrons for the Hilton restaurants. Yet Richard Polk commands the valet service with ease. His leadership, genuine hospitality and exceptional level of customer service even at the busiest times is mind boggling. He has made a believer out of me! I will never stay anywhere else and will highly recommend the Hilton to my friends and colleagues. Well done Hilton! Your beautiful hotel glitters with your choice of staffing!

Fiance Made a reservation through a third party, was told money would be taken out the day of and that wine, flowers, and chocolate would be there for anniversary celebration. The money was taken out shortly after the conversation so he called the hotel itself and they confirmed the payment and amenities and said he would not be charged the day of. He called again a week before just to be sure he would not be charged again and that amenities would be there and it was confirmed. Few days before check in he did it again to be sure and it was confirmed by hotel a second time. This morning before check in he was charged a second time like he tried to avoid. Third party says they do not handle the refunds, check in person says they see the second charge but do not handle refunds but he fixed it anyway but said we would not recieve it until Friday which is extremely inconvenient since we did everything we could to avoid this from happening and are traveling from out of state. On top if this we did not receive our amenities. When we spoke with the manager he said he did not see the second charge and that he could not fix it, but he would not listen when we tried to explain that the person at the front desk confirmed the second charge and fixed it and that's why he could not see it. He kept saying we had to call our third party to get the refund and would not accept the fact that our second charge was already confirmed by one of his employees. Third party is continuing to say only the hotel can fix this. I do not recommend, this should have not been so complicated

We were in the older, smaller building. Across the street is the newer, bigger, and nicer Hilton. Nonetheless, our room was clean and comfortable, check in was easy and fast. We self parked in the garage behind the hotel, should have used the valet instead. Only negative – and it’s a big one – is that the lobby restaurant and bar isn’t open Monday-Wednesday in the older building, we had to walk across the street to the newer Hilton for coffee and breakfast. That's a deal breaaker, would never stay in this building again.

  • 3/5 Pam H. 2 years ago on Google
The front desk and the food were outstanding, The room service left a little to be desired as we never saw any attention to our room in the three days that we stayed there. After the second day, i had to call for fresh towels and the price for parking was outrageous. $31 a day to PARK your car is ridiculous. it's not like they washed it and gassed it up every day.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed and walked to Huntington Park for a baseball game. Had dinner at the hotel little pricey but food was good. Love the large open area. Clean rooms comfortable beds. Nice views of downtown. Very close to many shops and restaurants.

Amazing experience in this new hotel in Downtown Columbus. The room was perfect for 2 people. Bed was comfortable, restroom very spacious. The view of the city was very good too. They put us on the 26th floor… so, the view was amazing! Very good experience

This is a 4 star hotel but the service gets 5 stars from me. Had to stay here while my home underwent renovations and the entire staff has been phenomenal. Worth staying here for the service alone.

Back in late July, I visited Columbus, OH for the weekend and we chose to stay at the Hilton in Downtown. From start to finish, our stay was fantastic! Our room was very modern and clean and the views were outstanding despite the construction on the newer tower coming soon for this hotel. The side atrium was a very unique touch too. Overall, our stay was fantastic and I'd definitely recommend this to be a place you stay at if you come to Columbus!

SMALL rooms considered deluxe because of view. You can get the same at a Hampton Inn and save. Very disappointing first impression. No place for laptop (see picture). Poor signage throughout building. Appreciate that it's dog friendly, but where do I take my dog? Hardly any outlets in the room. Not enough for my tablet, phone and laptop and those for my spouse. If I were to title this review, it would be "need a refund."

  • 4/5 Mary B. 8 months ago on Google
The rooms are nice and clean and a decent size. Never found the ice machine. The hotel is incredibly difficult to navigate. Once you figure it out, it isn’t so bad. However it is a ton of walking and confusion to get from check in to the parking garage and then to your room, especially if you’re in the tower across the street. It took us 30 minutes to find our way from the garage to our room due to poor signage and directions. The rooftop bar is a great place to enjoy the sunset but be prepared for ridiculously priced drinks. $18 per drink is a bit much.

This place is cool! Didn't get to check out too much but everything we witnessed was excellent. Cool art, cool staff, solid room and view (and we got the backside view 🤣)

The room was nicely appointed and quiet. Great downtown location. Kathleen and Heidi provided very nice support in the hotel. I will gladly return to this hotel. They provide a map describing locations of interest in their two towers and parking lot.

This hotel is so nice! The nicest Hilton I’ve stayed at ever! I stayed here for my birthday and I had no idea the rooms were going be soooo nice! It’s also VERY CLEAN. I usually feel icky staying at hotels but this felt like I was in my own home. I loved!!! how clean it was. The view was amazing too :) I would have given it 5 stars if the pool was open! :( Which was my entire reason for booking the hotel. If the pool was open it would have been a lot better. Just terrible timing I guess. The gym was nice and the area has a lot to do. 9/10. I will warn you all, before you check in, you will get charged a $60 deposit but you’ll get it back when checking out. Maybe that’s on my part for not knowing but I don’t recall getting told that in my reservation forms.

This hotel is stunning and gives you that fancy Conrad feeling when staying here. Staff was super friendly and courteous. The views from the roof top bar (Stories on High) was amazing. I will for sure stay here again when in the Columbus area.

The only reason for the two stars is just the immense difficulty for parking. The rooms are absolutely amazing, and there is a great service. However, you would think you get parking amenities, but you do not. You have to park 4 blocks away and walk to be able to get to the hotel. The hotel has a parking deck, it seems, but both entrances were blocked by a gate and the other one by a truck. There is another one where a guy tells you that there is no parking available unless you pay for them to park it. So then you have to exit the facility and drive around downtown finding parking, and walk across town to be able to go to the hotel. The other thing is you don't know which tower you are in, which adds another 5 or 10 minutes of walking to get to the elevator. All in all, the hotel is beautiful, but It's definitely diminished my view of Hilton for sure. If you don't mind paying a lot of money to have someone park your car, I suppose it's not bad, but it's not worth paying 50 a night as quoted.

Navigating walking from parking garage to hotel is very confusing. Confirmation listed the 402 building when our room was actually in 401. That mistake was very inconvenient. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Slept poorly and woke up with sore back. Pillows smelled and obviously not clean. Only soft pillows were in room, no firm. Only one bed had comforter. I highly do NOT recommend staying here.

Location is good, rooms are adequate, upgrades for Diamond members, (in my experience) is pathetic. I was upgraded to a room with a “view” of a factory. Meanwhile I noticed the couple behind me got a one bedroom suite despite not being Hilton Honors members at all. Parking is problematic. Valet manager refuses to accept manual transmission cars. I understand many young people can’t drive manual transmission cars, but choosing a job that requires one to drive a wide variety of cars when you don’t have the skills seems like a poor choice. The physical hotel is nice, but the staff is uninterested, unfriendly, and unhelpful - even resentful. Columbus is a provincial town. No matter how nice the building might be, the staff is not up to providing high quality service. Better management might be able to improve things.

This is a beautiful hotel, unique in architecture, very comfortable and clean rooms, a central location to many activities, restaurants, games, and shopping in the area, and everything you need is right at this hotel if you don’t want to leave. It’s ideal for a work or family trip! The breakfast buffet is amazing!

We loved our stay at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. Our walk to Nationwide Arena was an easy 6 minute walk. We were a little confused about the 401/402 address. I now understand it is all connected and we could have gone to either address to check-in. The stellar service was the Valet area at the 402 main hotel entrance. Richard Polk was a joy! When we arrived, he gave directions for self-parking or Valet and we decided to Valet park. When we left the next day, he remembered us and was very friendly and welcoming. It was raining and he had the car re-parked to be in front of the doors so we didn’t get wet. He took an ok experience at the hotel and turned it into a great experience. It is hard to find great customer service today, but Richard and the entire Valet staff we interacted with were awesome.

We got one of the King size suites. While the layout was nice, there were stains all over the furniture and the carpeting. Reminded me of something out of a motel 8. Felt very grungy. Didn't feel comfortable walking around in socks let alone bare feet so kept shoes on most of the time. Hard to relax with shoes on. Ironic thing, when we called to confirm about the room and see if a parlour upgrade was available, we were informed that we actually had the best King suite of the hotel! The cheeseburgers were good and cheaper than walking distance restaurants.

Clean, quiet, excellent service. The food and drinks at the restaurant are great (the salmon in particular was cooked perfectly, and Jenny who was working in the restaurant that night was very nice and gave great service). The pool and whirlpool were empty when we were there and it was clean and a good temperature. All around in would reccomend, and will definitely stay again if I can.

The hotel was so noisy early in the morning that my wife and I could not sleep. We do a date night once a year in our city exploring as if we were tourists, and last night was that once a year special night our without the kids. They were cleaning early and woke us up with other loud noises. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are nice, but with the poor noise control, it was a horrible stay and I am leaving tired and with a headache, on a night I was hoping would be a way to recharge my batteries. It may have been a fluke, but I want people to be aware it's possible to have a poor experience here. With it being one of the higher priced hotels in the city you should be aware. In addition to the extensive noise levels, the tvs are small and while attempting to stream a show via Netflix it was extremely pillaged and paused several time throughout. For the price of this hotel you would not expect this poor quality. I stay at mostly Hilton properties while traveling as I am a Diamond member, however, this has me considering other options in the future.

Loved my experience here. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The scenery inside was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. They were able to accommodate hundreds of veterans. Definitely better than any NYC hotel I have seen. I've attached a receipt to show it was the location.

The Hilton Columbus Downtown was a beautiful place to have our wedding! We have been planning (and re-planning because of COVID) since 2019 and we have worked with so many amazing Hilton team members to make the party happen. We are so happy with our choice and recommend the space to anyone interested in hosting a wedding with a lot of out-of-town guests!

Had a great experience staying at this hotel. We were a large group and a little louder of a crowd! The staff, especially the manager Larry Campbell, was super accommodating! They made us feel valued and welcome, going out of their way to accommodate us! In addition, it was a beautiful hotel in a great location! Hands down 5 stars!

I was able to get a room in the new 402 tower on the first day it accepted guests. Everything was brand new and the staff were eager to start with a great impression. There were a few glitches in minor systems which were to be expected with a new facility. Staff were quick to address any concerns. Very nice decor, and everything is gleaming. Convenience to the Conference facility could be better.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Downtown Columbus. Absolutely loved our stay. I love the valet parking which makes coming and going hassle free. Although I think I was charged twice for valet parking. It was on my bill and then another charge was made but I was only parked overnight in valet. The rooms were spectacular and very clean. This hotel is full of several amenities. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I am in Columbus.

The rooms get the job done, my view is a parking garage so not all views are great. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are great. Excellent water pressure in the spacious shower. The “gift store” where you’d buy sodas, snacks and room supplies is unreasonably overpriced. I know they usually up charge in places like this, but my unit of measurement is redbull. The small cans. In most Hilton locations in the US they’ll charge $5 for one. (Some places go as low as $3…).. they charge close to $6 at this location. Incredible. The reason I’m telling you this is because there really isn’t much in the way of any convenience stores nearby this location, so you’re kind of tied to this store for your supplies. But besides that, the staff is super friendly and helpful. But if you’re a diamond member with Hilton, don’t expect to get the standard gift bag with waters.. got nothing.

It's pretty nice here. I would come back. They took money off the room when I requested it jokingly -every good service. I'd come back for a quick get away! The restaurant was nice and that breakfast buffet is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 so good.

Beautiful hotel. New tower just opened up and it’s fantastic. Staff was great and friendly as well. Highly recommend if your in town for anything. Side note, only a 12 min walk to Columbus marathon start line and hotel gave out free water and bagels to runners. Class act.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, parks and the northern market. The hotel is clean and has great customer service. The rooms are large and appear to be newly renovated. There is free breakfast with a small selection- and valet service offered for parking.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Updated and clean and very convenient being directly connected to the convention center! Staff was A+++ from check in to check out. The restaurant offered great options and was surprisingly never too busy. The breakfast bar was absolutely fantastic, they had everything you could ever ask for and it had great vegan options. Again, great location as it is walking distance to too many great restaurants to count. Had a little hiccup with our billing, but Ryan took care of it immediately! We will definitely be back next time we need to stay over in Columbus!

Excellent hotel! Stayed for two nights for a conference. All the staff was very friendly and professional. Room was modern and clean and surprisingly quiet. Lots of ports and tech for business needs. The baked goods at the lobby cafe are way beyond expectations. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very accommodating staff. The room was super clean. Everyone was super helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much! I would stay here again! Only negative was self-parking at $38 per day. The hotel should validate self-parking for guests.

This hotel is amazing. To start off, the location is absolutely perfect, especially since we were there for the Origins Convention. It's connected to the convention center by a lovely sky bridge (that lights up beautifully at night) and within walking distance to a ton of really great restaurants. The rooms are pristine, modern, and so very comfortable. The chaise lounge in front of the huge window with a perfect view of the city was my favorite part. In the room there was a mini fridge and a safe, both nicely built into the drawers and cabinetry so as to not distract from the rest of the room. The shower was super roomy too, which was lovely. My favorite part, however, was the restaurants in the hotel. The bar's food was just amazing, and their drinks mixed to perfection. The breakfast in the restaurant was more delicious than I expected, and the service there was speedy and polite. Overall, we had a lovely stay and are definitely going to be back for Origins next year!

I stayed here for a conference at the adjoining convention center. Overall, it was great! The staff, room, service, and amenities were all top notch. I am a manual wheelchair user, and the room was nicely accessible for my needs. That being said, the carpet in the rest of the hotel (including hallways) was EXTREMELY difficult to roll on, and I was quickly exhausted by it. The digital key option on the app never actually worked, but regular key cards were trouble-free.

Hotel staff was wonderful and kind. Rooms are a bit small. Bed was nice and comfy. The shower was very pretty. 50$ for pets. They refunded me because the email I got when booking said there were no pet fees. 35$ for valet parking is understandable. My cats also enjoyed their stay the staff was really sweet to them! The carpet seemed like it wasn't vacuumed well next to the bed was very dusty, as well as under the nightstands. It's understandable cause some vacuums can't reach in tight spaces. Will definitely come back to stay!

Great room. Center of lots of restaurants, bars, shops, etc…charming staff in the morning for coffee and a great bar scene at night. Updated rooms with a wonderful shower and plenty of room to feel at home. I’ll be back. John Dodson - Hilton Diamond Member

Ok....you may be asking yourself why 3 stars if it has 5 stars on the metrics? It's because I was there for a conference. I did not like this venue for 1600 people. There is too much going up and down escalators between floors and some sessions were in the basement of the building across the street. The ballroom required movie theater style seating as opposed to the tables in the ballroom past conferences had. The renovations are lovely, the hotel is filled with art and overall the spaces are very nice. It may be fine for a smaller conference if you can keep it on 2 floors. I didn't see the rooms but I am assuming they are just as nice as the newly renovated bathrooms.

Outstanding hotel! Rooms were so clean and modern. The location was perfect for the convention center and the arena plus the short walk to the north market. Also the smell of the hotel was amazing!!

Everything was wonderful!! The staff was friendly and the room was super clean. The pool was sooo refreshing after a long day of travel and the snack market was well stocked and the food was delicious. The in-room dining was fast and delicious. The room was very spacious and clean. Amazing travel experience and I would love to come back.
