The details have been skipped for so long that there are major problems at this hotel. There could have been a decent view, but the windows were dirty on the outside. And it looked like someone with bloody hands had adjusted the curtains at some point, which hadn't been cleaned at all. The ice bucket was dirty. The restaurant/bar is closed. Only 1 of the 3 front desk clerks was able or willing to help us. The first guy didn't even bother to offer DoubleTree cookies! Our main problem during this stay, that prevented sleep, was our room was 80 degrees. When asked, guest services admitted that climate control was unavailable. They didn't know when or if it would be fixed. They offered a box fan, which arrived after 30+ minutes. I got the feeling that this hotel won't be open for much longer, and they have given up on providing a good guest experience. If you're in the area, though get a meal next door at Dave's Delicious Deli.

The room itself was actually nice for the price. Relatively clean, although it could use some updating of fixtures. That is the positive part. The staff while attempting to be helpful seem to be totally unaware of what was going on with the fitness center and restaurants in the area. We receive totally in accurate info on when the fitness center was open, and some of the suggested restaurants via a printed list were actually closed, Permanently because of COVID-19. I understand that it is a somewhat fluid situation. So I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. But, I don't think we will ever come back here.

The hotel is old and needs updated badly. The room we requested was not ready and we waited for about an hour and then they found us another room since ours still wasn't ready. The room was not the cleanest, for a 4 star hotel and the price, I expect an extremely clean room. The fridge cabinet was completely worn on the bottom and when opening the fridge it would come completely out and almost hit my foot, which would have been bad since my foot is damaged and is already painful all the time. The closet doors were streaked like they had not been cleaned for awhile. The tub was grungy. There were not enough towels for the people in the room and we had to ask for more towels and blankets for the pull out couch...can let that slide since this wasn't supposed to be our room so staff wouldn't have known how many in the room. The bed and bedding was very nice, no disappointment there. I was disappointed. They are not a 4 star hotel...they are a 3 charging 4 star prices.

Do not recommend. Walked into my room and it smelled of smoke. The hallways were extremely dirty. Some of the elevators were broken and had to take the stairs. Staff offered to move me to a different room. However, I just wanted out of the hotel at that point. They refunded me and I left. I appreciated the staff being nice but the hotel was unacceptable

The hotel was clean and the location was great the space was good however we did not have any bedding for the pull out couch I needed to wait 2 1/2 hours in order to get it. The kids were all falling asleep on chairs waiting for bedding. I know everyone is short staffed but I didn’t think betting was a request that was unusual are going to take so long:( we had two queen beds and one pull out couch and there were only three towels and one washcloth in our bathroom.

Placed in a handicap room that smelled of tobacco smoke without a pullout bed when a pullout bed was specifically requested in the reservation. Handicap room was not requested. After requesting a new room, we were placed in another handicap room that had a pullout. Both rooms were 90+ degrees on entry. No AC in rooms. After turning off all HVAC, it took >1 hour to cool to bearable temperature. Still very warm though. TV had no sports channels whatsoever. Pullout bed was not made up, and bedding had to be requested from the front desk. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable. 1/10, would not recommend. Do not book here. A recent pipe break closed the hotel for at least 1 week. There is still no hot water. The hotel is being sold within the next few days according to staff. Management does not care what happens here.

Two stars for location. We had to wait over an hour for a clean room despite having a reservation. When we got our room there were trash and towels left from the last guests in the bathroom. We didn’t see a point in complaining because it was made clear to us that there were no clean rooms and no staff to clean them. Nothing was offered to us for the inconvenience. We were late for the event we traveled to town to attend. Rooms and public spaces are also very dated. The lobby ceiling was leaking from the rain. Unfortunately due to all of the events that weekend, we couldn’t get another hotel so we stayed one night and left.

So disappointed in the customer service and our stay there. Booked for my husband's birthday weekend. Specifically so our group was on the same floor. Didn't happen. There was like 1 or 2 nice employees. Overall the vibe there was below expectations. Called for further assistance regarding extra fees attached and the woman I spoke too after the first woman already explained things to me--gets on the phone with no announcement of whom she is and was so argumentative. I was actually about to thank the prior woman for helping me and explaining things and for being nice and patient. But then the other woman jumped on! Just rude. Maybe employees shouldn't talk about who they're buying food stamps from loudly either in front of guests! Not staying here again. Each experience has been less than to say the least. I thought a good few years later would be better but nope.

This place sucks. Only good thing about it if you have status you can use the capitol fitness center which has a awesome golf simulator. The rooms are made with cardboard you can hear everything from room next door. Staff is also awful.

After reading some previous reviews, we were a touch concerned about staying here but overall it was a good stay. The location is fantastic with ready access to downtown, the riverfront, parks, museum, restaurants, and more. The parking garage is a bit tight and parking is a bit expensive but all to be expected when staying downtown somewhere. The staff were definitely lackluster overall. One morning for breakfast we were "greeted" by a gentleman in his uniform literally laying on a couch outside the breakfast hall who kind of suggested breakfast was too expensive and seemed to want to dissuade us against breakfast even though we bought breakfast when booking our rooms. Most staff seemed about of this manner; Not rude or anything just not caring at all and generally more "present" than working at all. There were a couple of female staff workers that we encountered during our stay that were always pleasant and now, in retrospect, seem like shining stars against their peers (Arena was especially kind, personable, and great with suggestions and with our kids. She definitely stood out as the most accommodating and welcoming during our stay and always had a smile on her face ). The suite we stayed in was a great room. No great view to speak of but overall clean, working AC, GREAT water pressure in the shower and everything was clean and ready upon entry. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. No frills but definitely a good room. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this Hilton. A small focus on staff training and staff incentives could probably bring this facility over the top to excellence. Regardless, would definitely recommend if looking to stay downtown to enjoy the sights and parks.

We visited at the beginning of January. When coming into our room it was hot and stuffy so I tried to turn the air on and down. It just kept getting hotter and hotter. I called the front desk and they told me they only have heat in the winter and in the summer they only have AC. So they did bring us a fan and told us to turn the air off completely (which didn’t help with the hot and stuffyness) and the windows don’t even open a crack for you to get some cool air. The toilet in our room ran for so long and was so loud if someone used the toilet in the night it would wake everyone up. A lot of the plugs also didn’t work and when my son wanted to heat something up we had to move the microwave to a plug that worked. Visually the room was nice and clean. It was spacious, which was great for bringing our family and not feeling like we were on top of each other. The staff at the front desk wasn’t mean but they weren’t overly friendly and I didn’t feel like I could ask them questions without annoying them. The girl at the restaurant was friendly though and answered any questions I had there.

Our stay was booked with other 5 travel couples through Hilton website. Rooms were not clean and most of the rooms air conditioning is not working. After our stay we received our invoice which included extra cost for captains club. We didn’t use any services other then night stay in our rooms. Sent 7 emails and left 12 voice mails but didn’t get any response to solve this problem. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed at and I travel a lot. Everything is outdated, with stains on the comforters and couches. Pretty sure they do not wash their sheets either. Smells weird and the staff is not friendly. Worst of all the pull-out couch that they advertise feels like you're laying on a wobbly slinky. I would have had better luck staying at a Motel 6, no joke. Don't stay here, it's not worth your time or money.

I decided to ignore recent reviews and stay at the DoubleTree because of the convenience of the location to my meeting place. I found everything I had read to be true. I was shocked that this hotel was in the Hilton family. To start, the room I had selected at check in was not ready by my stated arrival time and it got worse from there. Several pieces of furniture were ripped and torn. A table was missing half of it's finish. The bathroom had pieces of caulk falling out and hanging. The elastic on the sheet was so worn it was continually popping off. Bags of trash were left in the hallway for my entire two days. I moved a footstool and there were crumbs left from previous occupants. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. The doors and frames in the hall were chipped and in need of painting and replacement. I think that is enough said. The one star is for the great desk person that checked me in the first night. She was the one bright spot in the visit. Just avoid the place.

If you like to get your own sheets, make your own bed, get switched out of the room you booked, into an "upgrade" that doesn't meet your original needs, then this is the place for you. We booked a 2 bedroom room for a reason, but instead were put into a standard room with a "view of the river." That's great, except there is a 15 story concrete building blocking most of that view. Not only are the front desk staff working the evening shift "unfriendly," there is a distinct smell of apathy radiatiating from behind the desk. That was just the pleasantry we experienced in one evening, plus a broken fridge - hey at least it's cold. I am looking forward to seeing what breakfast is like. Fortunately, we are good at making beds, but the shower is gross and looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in a while. Maybe it's just the age of the building, but seriously it's not up to the usual Hilton quality. We are Hilton Junkies and it really is so rare to have such a lousy experience. If it was just one thing it's just inconvenient, but when you add all we've gone through along with the tone of the front desk workers....party over. There are better places to stay. The kicker? This is repayment for our loyalty... This stay was on points!

I would not recommend staying here. I will say, at first glance the room was visually appealing, but upon further inspection, it got worse. The view was nice but the windows ruined it. The AC did not work, but the fan was on Auto. There was a horrid burnt smell, which I assume came from the AC Unit. The room was hot and uncomfortable at night. I forgot to take a picture of the shower head but it was completely rusted and black around the water nozzles. It was disgusting. I will say, the bed was comfortable & the linen appeared to be clean. I think the location was decent. I am a bit upset because I was double charged for parking by the hotel. I paid at the kiosk in the parking garage only to receive my bill at checkout, noticing I had been charged to park. My digital key didn’t work. The staff at the front desk was helpful/friendly when I went down to ask for keys. This was by far the most unpleasant experience I’ve had with a Hilton hotel.

Parking is a little confusing. There is a parking garage in the front and it is not the one you use. The one used is around the side. The Lobby is on the 6th floor which I didn't know coming in late that evening. Strange set up to start. Once I was in the room it was a VERY nice room. Huge and clean and that is always the most important. Never heard another person from the room the 3 nights I was there. I would stay here again. A little far to walk to the convention center, but I'm sure I can always use a walk!

I have to say, the suite was very nice with spaciousness and comfortable amenities. The staff were friendly and courteous. We arrived for an overnight stay for a wedding in late October 2021. The weather was still on the warmer side. The proprietors decided to turn OFF the air conditioning and the room was just stifling throughout our stay making it extremely uncomfortable non stop. Think first for your guests comfort. It ruined the whole experience. The temp in the room hovered at 80+ degrees and muggy.

Hotel room itself was great. The bar downstairs was also a great experience sitting out on the balcony. The beds are super soft along with the pillows, which I enjoyed but your firm sleepers may struggle with. I was charged for three nights of parking ($25 a night) when I didn't even have a vehicle. The answer I received was it "should" be reimbursed in 7-10 business days, not sure if that will happen or not. Lastly, I was on one of the top floors and would have had an amazing view had it not been for the dirty windows clouding any decent sunset/sunrise or view of the city. I would absolutely come back to this hotel as it was an overall great experience.

Filthy! I am completely disgusted by the state of this hotel. I can’t stop thinking there are bedbugs everywhere. Everything from the front door all the way to the bathroom is filthy. On top of that, there's no restaurant there's no room service no decent food at all. The carpets needed to be replaced a decade ago the tile floors haven't been cleaned in eons. On top of all of that your interiors haven't been updated in eons. The sheets were stained, the carpets obviously haven't been cleaned in years, the colors are depressing, The mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable, the pillows have the spines of feathers sticking through them make you get impossible to sleep. I am completely disgusted by this hotel. This hotel has all the signs of a building about to be imploded.

The best thing about the hotel is its location and the quality of the beds. On the negative side, there's no indication that they encourage or enforce Covid protocol. Also, the restaurant is not open, so don't even think about getting a hot breakfast. Next time I'll explore other downtown hotel options.

Pros: Our hotel room was upgraded for free without us asking which was cool. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were nice. It was quiet. Cons: My biggest issue with this place is the lack of amenities. We booked this room specifically because of the photo of the fitness center on the Hilton Honors app. We find out when we arrive that another business manages the gym and it’s not open on the weekends at all. This feels like false advertising. We specifically needed a nice gym and would have spent our money elsewhere despite the room upgrade. There’s also no pool and the restaurant is closed. We could have paid half the nightly price for more amenities basically anywhere else. Also, Hilton charges $25 for daily parking at the Huntington garage right of Front St on Capital. The actual garage charges $20 for 24 hours so save yourself $5 and just pay the garage daily rate.

I was on a cross country move and needed to stop in Columbus. I did not have a reservation and was worried about having a place to stay. Julia at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful. As well as being extremely enthusiastic about the area. The rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. I cannot give this place enough praise. Wish I had more time to explore all the hotel had to offered.

Great location in downtown. They referred us to local cuisine, a place called The Elevator! Outstanding! The suite at Doubletree was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Looking forward to a return visit.

An extremely nice property in Columbus, Ohio. We've stayed here twice this year, and been thrilled both times. The service is excellent, and the rooms are spotless. We've had the corner suites during our stays, with beautiful views of the river. The bar in the hotel is very nice, and the available buffet for breakfast is solid. Also, the hockey arena and baseball field are both a short walk away (roughly 15 minutes), so there's no need to drive to either venue. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a beautiful, large suite with a king bed for one night to see Billy Joel last weekend. The only remark I would make is that the woman working the front desk (I didn't catch her name) could have been a bit friendlier to us. I would describe her demeanor as no-nonsense, but she got the job done. Our bed and pillows were much softer than we prefer, but that'll happen. Other than that, it was a great stay!

This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I booked here for my best friend’s bachelorette. Parking is terrible here. I booked the room weeks in advanced (2 double bed deluxe suite with River view). Upon arrival they said they “upgraded me” to a king suite (ONE BED) and a sofa couch due to the room I booked being “sold out”. I told them I did not ask for this “upgrade” and refused to stay unless we had the two beds since there were four of us and two weren’t sleeping on the couch. They ended up finding the double bed suite for us after waiting a long time to find a room. Once we got to the room, there were obvious stains in the carpet, food on the floor, mysterious pills. Overall you could tell the room had not been cleaned properly. There was ONE trash can for the entire room. And no cleaning service daily. The shower tub flooded and would not drain right away. The ceiling light in the bathroom began leaking the first night being there. We stayed Friday to Sunday. On Saturday, we asked for towels multiple times. Each time they said “we are working on it” or they’ll bring them up soon. NEVER received towels even after talking with them through the app and on the phone. Just overall not a good experience. The hotel is not worth the price for the headache you have to go through to book and stay. At the end of my stay they also tried to charge me for the parking garage even though I wasn’t using their parking. Thankfully the charge was caught and taken off before I left. It’s very frustrating they would leave the charge on after the entire conversation I had with staff on Friday about the parking.

I have stayed here 3 times now for work, if it was not for their amazing gym there is no way I would ever return. All three times I have had issues it is clear employees here are not well trained in procedures or professionalism. I was checked out a day early and barged in on by housekeeping while showering, the second time the AC was broken, this time there are no towels in my room at all in addition I can hear housekeeping yelling obscenities in the hallway during the morning. The rooms are dated but big and comfortable. As mentioned they have one of the nicest hotel gyms I have ever seen in terms of size this is the only reason I return.

Room was spacious and clean. Complimentary bottles of water (and the famous cookies!) were appreciated. Great location—within walking distance of many things. Just a bit tricky for navigating and parking. Oh—when you book, the hotel website says parking is available. What the site doesn’t tell you is that it is $25/day. However, you do get in/out privileges for that price.

Upon reading reviews after booking our stay here I was a little worried as some seemed a bit harsh. I wanted to be sure I left a good review since we had a great experience here and to hopefully leave the next guests less worried. Upon arriving the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Every encounter I had during our stay was a great experience. They even took care of our parking as long as you are in the garage connected to the hotel. They disclosed all information upon arrival so that we knew where and how to access our amenities. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice, clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the river. The location is also good— the hotel is within walking distance of a lot of places. The hotel staff is great, especially Robin and Laurence at the front desk. Our stay was very comfortable. Remember to book knowing that you’ll pay $25 per day to park in the parking garage.

Our stay was fantastic! Robin and Lawrence were both wonderful! Rooms were clean and comfy! Saw some past reviews about the ac not working but ours worked great and we had no issues. Definitely coming back!!

Woke up the morning of my reservation and they had already pre charged my card for a room that was pay at the property. I wasn’t upset because it was the day of anyways but they charged me 210 for a room that was 178 after taxes. I assumed it was a deposit. Upon arrival they couldn’t find my reservation. After about 10 minutes they found it and then tried to recharge me because the lady that had charged my card earlier put that I was making a cash payment. So I had to pull up my billing info. After that they tried to charge me 50 dollars for the deposit and convince me that it was 210 after taxes. After reviewing everything the gentleman said that they didn’t give me the correct rate and they would fix it. Finally got to my room(604) the air wasn’t working properly, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. Call the front desk to get placed in another room and the lady acted as if it was an inconvenience that for 200 a night I wouldn’t want to stay in a bad room. The room we finally got moved to was a lot better but the inconvenience was ridiculous and no apologies or refunds for anything was given. 25 to park over night but you have to get a new barcode every time you leave the hotel. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Would not recommend staying here. Not to mention all the hallways and elevators were ridiculously hot! The worst!!!!

Recently stayed for the week with a friend. Upon arrival, we went to the bar for a drink and all of the soda was flat. Went to our room where there were flies. The second night there, we came back to a dead roach in our bathroom. We called the front desk and asked for the room to be cleaned in the morning. The next day we were out all day and wanted to go to bed when we got back. The room was NEVER cleaned and the dead bug was still on the floor. We also put in a request to have the AC looked at as it didn't work properly. The second to last morning my friend woke up with pink eye due to the dirty sheets and pillows. Spoke to a manager who gave us free breakfast (which was cold and not many options) and free parking. We definitely do not recommend this hotel. Between the black mold on the ceilings, the bugs in the room and a few other fire safety issues, it isn't even worth staying there for free.

  • 2/5 De L. 6 months ago on Google
For the price, we were extremely disappointed! The elevators looked like they'd been broke down for a grip. The rooms were nasty, the toilets wouldn't flush right, the tubs looked like a rodent tried to chew through them. The parking arrangement was ridiculous. The garage too low to park a truck in, we had to park 8 blocks away and pay over $40 a day. The continental breakfast was $22 a plate for some bulk rubber eggs and tired meat! I won't be staying there again!

  • 2/5 Michael S. 4 months ago on Google
COLD SLEEPERS BEWARE - the rooms are spacious and fine but in the wintertime, they only have heat in the building so the rooms are extremely hot. If you like to sleep in colder rooms, do not stay here. If you like hot rooms, this hotel is for you! The showers are also intense!! The water pressure is extremely high so the showers are an experience; however, there are no fans in the bathrooms so they get very steamy (which then doesn't help with the temperature in the room). Hotel service was friendly, they provided a fan for the room, but this only helped minimally. Its a nice hotel, but just dated and the room temperature is a major issue for me.

  • 3/5 Chris E. 4 months ago on Google
My room was nice, but not very clean. The cups for the coffee maker were not wrapped like typical hotel rooms, it actually looked like it was just rinsed out? The bathroom had a musty odor. I aaked the front desk every morning to please do something about it. They said they would, but it smelled the same everyday. The staff was nice, but the bartender called out so they closed down the restaurant which meant I had to walk to get food. The hotel isn't very close walking distance to a decent place to eat. I probably wouldn't stay here again. There are nicer options closer to the airport.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and was surprised at how dated and dirty it was. Mirrors and chandeliers, walls - dust and dirt everywhere. Glasses with prints of lips and fingers. The windows are also very dirty. it's not at all what you'd expect for the price. The location was great but the parking was poor. Would not stay here again.

Not a bad hotel. I read some of the negative reviews so I was a bit nervous. Check in was a breeze, they had a room early for me. When I went up to the room I inspected it and noticed that the shower was not what I would call clean. So I immediately went down to the front desk, I informed them of the situation, and they got me another room. No problem at all. This happens from time to time, I only care about how you deal with it. Well they dealt with it. The new room was immaculate, and quite nice. I'd definitely stay here again. Also, the location is fantastic. So close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We did have a small glitch when we checked in but John took care of it right away and got our two rooms on the same floor. Because we knew we were walking everywhere during our stay, we parked in the parking in the Huntington center parking garage and declined the hotel’s offer to give us unlimited in and our rights for $25 per day which would have been $50. Instead we only paid $28 for the 2 nights we were there. The building itself does need some maintenance. The temperature in One of the rooms would not go below 75. And the ceiling vent in the shower of the other needs some maintenance. There were some fingerprints on the wall by the vent so they may be in the process of doing maintenance. The rooms themselves were very comfortable. Loved the bed, it was sooo comfy. The rooms were very well insulated from noise. Although we All have tendencies to wake several times during the night, we all slept solid and even slept in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

When we arrived at night to check-in the elevators to the lobby were not functioning, leaving multiple guests spilling over on the street in a state of panic since there were no emergency stairs or means to get up to the lobby/rooms. Also apparently this hotel does not clean the rooms unless you specifically requested, so please be sure to request room cleaning if you would not like to use the same towel or sleep on the same sheets for your entire stay. Otherwise the room was fine.

This was my first time visiting Ohio, my partner and I had business to complete here and needed to stay for a singular night. During check in, we were misinformed of there being breakfast. The night attendant stated that though the dining room is not serving, there is still a complimentary container of a basic breakfast meal. Come morning, that was not the case. During the night, an overhead light turned on and it would not turn off. My partner and I could not sleep due to there being a constant brightness shining at our faces. Calling the front desk resolved nothing as there was no maintenance available. The shower tub barely drained during showers, it became a bath during a shower as the water pulled up and yes I did check if the stopped was down; it was not. Hot water did not last very long either. As a whole, not a restful nor enjoyable first-time. This would be a one star a view but because I at least had an affordable place to stay inside away from the cold, it got a two.

The hotel seemed nice at first but, our room was not very clean, had a broken table and a clogged toilet. I could have dealt with all that but to top it all off I was charged 4 times, and when I asked what the charges were, the staff had no explanation and would not refund. Absolutely will never stay here again.

Saw very nice restaurant and lounge area on their web page, said it was open. Booked expensive high level suite and when checked in, I was told they have NO restaurant and no room service at all except for a breakfast thing that I did not use so not sure. To be fair, I was upset to staff but they remained extremely professional. But I used to rent the 10th floor go levels and restaurants were open. Not happy. Spent one night and left. Doubt it return. We were counting on getting food there or room service and had to call local business partner to bring us food. This used to be in my opinion one of the top 3 hotels in Columbus. My opinion has changed!

Nice location, clean & spacious rooms, courteous staff. Nothing fancy, but reasonable value for the price. Parking surcharge is a little steep but ultimately understandable given the location. The on-site bar/restaurant being closed is a big downer, though.

The hotel was very nice, location was right on point. We were a couple of minutes away from the arena. The staff here was very professional, our room was big also clean. The only dislike was the breakfast wasn’t free like the other hotels we stayed in but it wasn’t pricey either. So I will give it a 3 out of 5 for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. A big thank you to the young woman that talked with me about her stay in Cincinnati when she came to see Charlie Wilson , I do apologize for not remembering her name , but she went beyond to make our stay great because I was really sick. Thank you again. Also I left a bag behind and they got my bag and is shipping it to me . So I thank the staff for that also .. the hotel get 5 stars !!!

What we paid for was a river front room double bed deluxe and that was not what we got. It was on the opposite side of the river and the original room we were in smelled of cigarette smoke so bad we had to request a different room. The new room was much smaller and again… not even on the side of the river. The sink was broken and the faucet was loose and water was backing up. When I pulled a towel from rack it broke. They barely had any snack or drinks for guest which also was a bummer for the kids. The only reason why I gave it one star was the staff was extremely friendly and was as helpful as they could be. Other than that, our next Columbus stay will definitely be at another Hotel.

The room and facility was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area is perfect with plenty to do within walking distance. Great views of downtown although the windows could have been cleaned better. The parking could also be cheaper but besides that all was good.

Huge rooms. Separate sleeping areas with biological door separation. We were on top floor! Nice view. Staff was very helpful . Parking is free but you validate ticket at desk. Starbucks in lobby (not free but it is good ). There is a huge exercise room. Check hours at desk.

The good: Price, Location, checkin, water pressure The bad: breakfast was a complete joke and $22.50, I would not pay $2.50 for powdered eggs and uncooked sausage. The parking garage has 2 sets of elevators to take you to the lobby only problem is one of them stops working at 7:00 but there are zero signs telling you this. Tub did not drain well so by end of shower was standing in ankle deep water.

The rooms were very nice and clean the staff was so polite and helpful. Also love the convenient parking and location being in front of scioto mile. Only wish that there was food there but with the inconvenience of this global pandemic it was completely understandable overall amazing experience

Room was uncomfortably warm. Called front desk and was told to turn off the system. Did not help. We were told that they were going to give us fans but they ran out. We were advised to just talked to the manager the following morning. Asked the front desk person how is talking to the manager the following morning will make our night comfortable? We were pretty much told to just deal with it and maybe the manager will comp us for our inconvenience. It was more comfortable in the hallways in comparison with our room. This hotel only runs one a/c system at a time. Only heat during winter months and only cold during summer months as we were told. We take multiple vacations annually for years and this is by far the worst service we’ve ever received.

Nice location. The room looked nice at first but needs major attention to the cleaning. Computer chair was nasty. Mold under sink. The AC was broke in the entire hotel. Nothing told to us at check in. When I said it didn’t work that evening the guy said they were working on it now and it should be soon. The lady behind me said “they have been saying that for days” and sure enough, just gave me a box fan and said it is what it is. Never got fixed. 83 degrees in the room.

I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and had a good impression. My impression has changed. It looks like they have not maintained the facility in the previous five years. There are marks from the staff carts on every wall. The carpets in the room are clean but not so in the hallways. The ceiling in the lounge bathroom has a tile missing and crumbling drywall around the floor molding. Of course, these are small issues that could be overlooked in a hotel at a lower price point, but this is not priced as a mid level hotel. I found the front desk staff to be overly casual at check in. However they were responsive at 3 a.m. and again at 4 a.m. to the loud music and hallway party that was occurring outside my door. Again, these aren't problems that I would expect at this price. If I had paid 50% less, I might still be reluctant to give this four stars.

Somewhat disappointed with this Double Tree inn, downtown, Columbus, Ohio. My check-in was quick, my room was very clean and I received an upgrade to a suite. The room was more than adequate for a two day stay lots of room bed was comfy great working space if you’re travelling for business. Bathrooms could use an update, showers have great pressure, but lack a more modern walk in style. Detractor for my stay was that room AC was down for all rooms and it was very warm. Front desk did not mention this to me when I checked in.

I will tell you some thing that travel agents do not want u to know. When reserving resorts use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They easily have the best deals on resorts! Much better than using orbitz, priceline, hotwire. That's for sure!!! Great night away with my hubby! Very nice room, with a beautiful view! Went to Other World, nearby! Super cool place.

Disorganized, dirty and unsecure. Tried to check in at 5pm (check in set at 4pm after booking) and was unable to get room keys because no rooms were available. The front desk couldn't say when a room would be ready. Sounded like cleaning staff was having some problems but no rooms were ready even when checking in later in the day. Lobby was filled with other guests having the same problem. After we were able to check in the room was dated and not maintained. Didn't have sheets for the pull out and did not have enough towels for all the guests. We went to grab stuff from our cars and found someone had gone through our cars in hotel parking garage. Had some things stolen out of the trunk and everything in the glove boxes thrown around. The staff was helpful but clearly did not have the support they needed. Very disappointed with our stay and would recommend you avoid this hotel.

It was a decent room and didn't cause any issues with our weekend visit, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The windows were very dirty, the toilet was clogged before we even arrived, the wallpaper had a chunk missing, the water pressure in the shower was crazy strong (which I know is weird, but it was intense), and the coffee set up in the room barely heated the water and had very cheap cups/lids.
