Their Pad Thai is amazing. They have a huge menu but all you need is an appetizer and Pad Thai. Sometimes wait can be a little longer than I’d like but food is always HOT and fresh!

We went as a group 18 of us, food was super good, since they reopened there's only 1 cook. Very good food, atmosphere, and service was also good.

Nice scenery. I have made a go-to or staple restaurant of mine. I'm new to Thai food so I haven't been brave enough to go past two chili peppers lol. But the food is really good. The staff is usually really nice and fast.

I use to love this place. But the other day having lunch service was bad. But worst thing a cockroach fell onto my table from wall. Not an outside kind a German nasty inside kind. If there is one in dinning area there are a thousand in kitchen. Ask an exterminator gross..never eat there again.

I have been going to chili Thai since 2018/2019 and the service was always great and the food even more amazing. Since they’ve closed and with new owners or management they have made a turn for the worse. The service I had was absolutely unacceptable. We waited atleast 30-40 minutes before I had to waive down a server to take our order. It was busy so I understand but every waiter was going to every table around us and refused to serve us or even check-in with us. They even helped customers who came AFTER us and took their order. Once we ordered we got our drinks and once again was ghosted by our server who was also the manager. She never once communicated about wait times, updates on our meal, re-filling our drinks, or anything else. We processed to wait another 20-30 minutes before we saw the customers who came in AFTER us being brought food and appetizers before us . I decided to go speak to the server at the check out station who was supposed to be our server to articulate what we were feeling. I was respectful and just wanted an apology or an update on our food. While I was speaking 2/3 of the orders at our table was brought. She was VERY dismissive and insensitive. She didn’t make eye contact and proceeded to do what she was doing as if I wasn’t there and there was no ounce of empathy for the situation. I went back to my table but felt so uneasy about the conversation I couldn’t even eat my meal. Another server was passing by and asked if we were good and brought up the situation and she proceeded to do nothing and also acted as if she didn’t care and just said “the tips are shared”. At check out was the same server and I proceeded to ask for the manager. The manager was our original server and as I had spoken to her before I reiterated what I felt as a customer and communicated how I felt dismissed and like I was an inconvenience for them. She proceeded to simply reply “Okay” and walked away. The other server proceeded to check us out and I specifically told her no tip. She then gets passive aggressive and starts over explaining to me a about the process of signing a receipt as if I don’t know how to check out. She even starts saying “you need to write it!” And starts passive aggressively smiling and laughing while shaking her head. Almost like us being treated horribly this entire time didn’t happen and we don’t hold the right to refuse a tip. As if horrible service should be awarded. We all paid and I asked for bags. She leaves around the corner says something under her breath and throws us the bag on the counter. Not even making eye contact. I have NEVER felt so disrespected by an establishment and I will not be returning. FOOD: As far as the food the Thai tea was the best part and was 10/10. The chicken pad see ew had great flavors but I had to remove the food from my to go box because they served us the most oily plate of food. I’m not sure if I can finish my food because of how much oil. I can not see myself coming back and paying for horrible service and oily food.

I am always impressed with Chili Thai. Their food always impresses. I personally love the drunken noodles and the spring rolls. Everything is cooked to order so it is fresh. The customer service is fantastic also! They won a forever customer!

So happy you returned to Columbus. My pad thai was the best just as before. Chicken fried rice was excellent. Spring rolls very delicious. Staff all very friendly. Got there at 5pm, by 5:30 place was full and people were lined up outside.

First time eating Thai food, very impressed. The atmosphere was very relaxed, comfortable seating and very clean. I like spicy food but this place is no joke. I tried the Tiger Eye appetizer which was a simple dish of grilled beef with a spicy dipping sauce with a rating of 2 peppers for the spiciness ( it was super hot for me but so good I had to keep going back for more) 🔥. I would also recommend the drunken noodles, it was so delicious and fresh.

We really enjoyed this place. The food was excellent and so fresh. It is one of those places you can order anything if the list and it's going to be amazing. Authentic!

I have always known this place to be a fun, delicious restaurant to go to with my family/friends. I was excited to go when I saw that they reopened. Sadly, I can say that I 100% regret my experience here tonight. The service was terrible. Nobody took our order for 30 mins, we had to wave down the waitress to come. Then, we saw people who arrived after us being served the same food we ordered before us. When we voiced our concerns, the manager was dismissive and nonchalant. The entire experience felt extremely neglectful. Go here if you want noodles drenched in oil with a side of sass.

for me it’s kinda pricey for a meal without side like soup/salad, for a Thai Food it’s not even good, I like Lemongrass or THAI&THAI better their food is better & price is cheaper, I had curry & drunken noodles all with beef, the curry was bland & only a little bit meat u barely could see the meat & the veggies were like FROZEN VEGGIE. in my noodles only lil bit meat & 2 pcs brocoli. couple months ago I had the same noodles I ended up didn’t like it but yesterday I gave them another chance, maybe this place is just not for my taste

I decided to stop in for an early lunch, it was shortly after 11, and yet there was already a wait to be seated. I placed my order to go and waited just under 10 minutes. I had ordered the shrimp basil fried rice, which was an upcharge for the shrimp for maybe 5 pieces of it. The meal came with a small fried spring roll. Though the rice had delicious flavor, the broccoli and the shrimp did not have the same flavor and overall was quite bland. However, seeing how popular the place was , if I get a chance, I would try it again, just maybe go with a different dish.

First time here, my friends had all raved about it but it was closed for some time. Went there last night, it was so delicious and fresh! This will be a go to spot for sure.

We waited for our food for 45 mins, and when it came out, it was not even worth it. Pad thai was ok, but the tom yum soup tastes like it came from a packet, and the seafood used doesn’t taste fresh. No condiments or table napkins available on the table. It was a waste of our time, will not bother to come back.

Our visit to Chilli Thai was good. During these Covid days the restaurant was spaces appropriately and all the staff members were wearing masks. The food was good but the snapper my husband ordered over cooked. I ordered my Pad Thai with pork and it was good but the pork was chewy which lead me to believe that it was leftover or reheated. Great location and friendly staff!! Will definitely be back again.

For the first time back since opening, they did not impress us with their customer service. We tried to get an order to go over the phone, but no one answered several times. I wrote the order down gave it to my husband to give to the waitress taking his order. First of all, since I had Covid, I can no longer tolerate hot foods. I told the waitress I can’t tolerate any heat. I asked her for no chilis. She said nothing about the seasoning being spicy. There was no way I could eat that. Then, they did not put my dessert mango sticky rice with custard in the bag with our order to go. This was not a good first experience for my husband and me. When my husband went back to the restaurant for my sticky rice, they put it on the counter and before my husband had time to pick it up, the owner picked it back up and threw it in the trash! My husband was told to have a good night and she walked away. Lllllllll:8 mom,m. He was shocked. Will we give it one more try, of course, but tonight was a total bust. Oh, BTW don’t trust the prices on line. They are different than in the restaurant. The entire bill for two people was $70! We didn’t expect that at all. Like I said, this experience was the worst! I hope they check their attitudes before lashing out at the next customer who has a complaint about the food.

if i could give less than a star for service, i would. this restaurant used to be my favorite place in columbus to go out to with my girls, and i will not be coming back here again. ever since it reopened, the service is terrible. we waited for over an hour to get our orders taken, and it is because we had to flag someone down. after they took our orders, every table that came after us got their food before we did. we didn’t get our food until 40 minutes later, and it’s because we had to remind them. when we brought this up to the manager, she rolled her eyes and said ok. and then proceeded to cuss us to the other workers behind the counter. They then threw our trash bags on the floor for us to pick up when we said we were disappointing. NEVER. coming back here again.

I love me some Thai food. I have been going around town trying some so far, Chili Thai ranks 1 in MY list. Friendly staff, clean restaurants and reasonable prices. I had the vegetables soup with cucumber salad. Delicious.. I recommed it So, I had to edit my post. Contrary to Google and Yelp. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I am a bit disappointed. Google said open I got there it was close with the hours of business posted on their window are from Wed to Sat.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Chili Thai in uptown Columbus, GA, and I cannot express how disappointed I am with the level of customer service I received. It was so appalling that I had no choice but to rate it with just one star. From the moment I walked in, I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer because the business seemed to be busy. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated to provide even basic courtesy. However, what truly shocked me was the manager's response when I raised a concern about my dining experience. I was being charged for four dinners when I only ordered two for takeout. I asked her to explain why I was being charged for 4 when I ordered 2. She started to argue with me and became upset. She stated, "You were talking to that guy," and I stated my order was complete when an ex-colleague saw me in the establishment and started talking to me. I brought to her attention that it was her error for not removing the two wrong items she wrote down on her notepad. Instead of addressing my legitimate complaints, she chose to argue with me. I was upset and told her that I did not like the service I was receiving and that I would not be back. She says, "It doesn't matter because business is good." This dismissive attitude is absolutely unacceptable. Customer service should always be a top priority regardless of how well a business is doing. I've dined at many restaurants, but I have never encountered such a complete lack of respect and professionalism from the management. It's disheartening to see a place with the potential for delicious food tarnished by such poor customer service. I strongly advise potential patrons to think twice before choosing Chili Thai for their dining experience in Columbus, GA. Your money and time would be better spent elsewhere, where your business is genuinely appreciated. ****UPDATE*** Now the same staff member has come on my personal FaceBook page still being unprofessional.
