Enjoyed my first time at Bodega about a week ago. Amazing server, welcoming atmosphere, loved the decor and the music, plus my food was absolutely DELECTABLE! I had the omelet with peppers and onions and it was the absolute best I've ever had and that bread was perfect. Whoever made my meal truly used ALL the love they had within themselves to make it. I can't wait to return!

I absolutely love this place. All the while living jn Columbus, I just stumbled upon it 🤦🏽‍♀️ . The environment is amazing. The staff are super sweet & caring. The best part: THE FOOD ARRIVED HOT!! I love eating food from different cultures and this experience was totally amazing. I’ll definitely be returning here in the future (probably every day😉) Thank you 💝

Came here for lunch and found that breakfast menu is served all day as well. I got the Bodega Benedict. It was good but I did not care for arepas (small pancake on the bottom). It was very dense with a bland taste. The hollandaise sauce was good. My hubby got the Tripleta A LA Bodega. He gives it a 3.5☆ out of 5. There was no cohesion of flavor and needed a fork to eat it because food fall apart on the way to your mouth. The empanada sample was good. Let it cool before you eat though. My daughter got the El Conquistador. The 10 oz steak was thin and getting medium rare is hard. The edges were done but the middle was medium rare. May come back to try something different.

10/10 I definitely recommend! If you haven’t been run, don’t walk! This place is a gem and I love the family feel! The food is top notch and super fresh, definitely and must try, I loved that the owner comes out and interacts with his patrons… says alit about a business when the owner takes time to do this! Thank you Caesar for my crunchy bacon lol!

This place is amazing! Atmosphere was nice and the food looks great and has so much flavor! The prices seemed high but for the portion of food it is worth every penny. Definitely coming back!

This place was in one of my Yelp Collections even before moving here so I knew I had to try it as soon as possible. A couple of girls and I had brunch here and they both have been here before. They talked really highly of this place along with their coffee. I ordered the French press coffee which was stellar! And we each ordered a beef empanada which was also fresh and amazing. I was eyeballing the Caribbean chicken even before coming to the restaurant so I ultimately decided on this dish. And my oh my!! The flavors were exploding in my mouth. The ONLY thing I would’ve changed about my experience with the dish I ordered was that the chicken was over cooked so it was chewy just a bit. However, I was able to get past that due to the amazing flavors. The service was also great, environment was very cute, and tables were clean. I really can’t complain about this place! The prices are definitely more than your typical brunch spot. But you’re also getting a bang for your buck with how much food they give you along with the unique taste this restaurant provides. I will be back for sure and 1000% recommend you try it, if you haven’t already!

We come here often when I need some home-tasting food. My favorite is their breakfast menu but anything you pick will taste amazing. Their yuca fries with the sauce are something I always get while I'm there, they never get old. I love that they play European scenery videos on their TV.

The omelet was good but some of the vegetables made it a lil soggy. It also could have had a little seasoning. I had it with chorizo and was surprised that it wasn’t seasoned too well. The bodega chip were like potato chips but they weren’t crispy, definitely not a fan. The plantains were the frozen kind for sure. Not bad, just isn’t special for me. The Cuban bread was the best part, buttered and toasted.

When I think about a bodega, I think about a corner store in NY summer time selling hero sandwiches, chips, candy, etc. So this was very different, a friend and I decided to head here for lunch and there was no wait time we sat down and ordered and I swear within two seconds after ordering our food was at the table (usually that would be a good thing) but it also made us wonder was it someone else's food that they didn't want . I expected more so far as flavor. The meat was overly seasoned, the rice was overcooked, the plantains were undercooked, and the salad, well, it was a salad, nothing to celebrate. The best thing about our experience was the mango lemonade. We definitely don't plan on returning because we are foodies and want to spend our money on GOOD food, but the atmosphere was nice just to sit and talk amongst friends.

My wife and I are constantly delighted by the experience we have at Bodega. The staff are wonderful and the food is consistently excellent, even if they can be quite busy at peak times during the day. There aren't many good Hispanic food options in the area aside from Mexican restaurants, and it's a delight that we have the Bodega team here in Columbus. And hey, it's one of the few places where you can get non dairy options for your coffee, too! It's the small things that can make a great experience.

First time coming here and I have already promised myself I will be back. The initial entrance and feeling is immediately warm and comfortable. The restaurant is decorated in beautiful antiques, memories, and love for their customers. Honorable mention is they’re one of a kind hot chocolate. Truly wonderful servers as well. You hardly get to experience an all hands on staff, and all of them were so helpful and genuinely kind. While of course, we were asked multiple times how our time at Bodega was by the Owner, who undeniably cares for his customers, and I answered every time with, “Fantastic”. Bodega is the perfect cozy restaurant, and I plan on being a familiar face.

The staff was very friendly. They had fresh juice, and we tried the carrot mixed with orange. For food, we ordered the plantain nachos with pork and one with chicken. It was amazing and filling. We also had the empanada sampler. They were good, but the guava cheese was the best. Be careful, though. The filling is hot!!

Bodega is such a cute little place!!! I had brunch with a friend here and it was so delicious and the coffee was really, really good!! 😋 The waiter was nice and accommodating, there is outside seating, they have Columbus artwork hanging on the walls - it’s just a very neat place. I loved it!

I really enjoy eating at Bodega 1205. The food is always fantastic! The service is friendly and attentive. If you happen to have the time to stop in for a bite, I recommend that you try the double espresso with your meal. I drink mine black, but they also offer you sugar. If you're a coffee lover like me, you will definitely not be disappointed. The meal that I love the most is the pernil. The pork is so tender and the flavor is amazing. Couple that with the arepas and you will be all set. Definitely give the bodega a try!!!

Although the food is delicious, the to-go portions are laughable and very disappointing. I’ve eaten at this restaurant often and I’ve also opted for takeout as well. The portions served in the restaurant are better than the portions they give for takeout. As of lately, I don’t have as much free time to eat at the restaurant so I order to go. Each time it’s been extremely disappointing. This specific time I was literally only given 3 very small pieces of the sliced Caribbean chicken, some peppers, majority sauce, a side salad, and a scoop of rice. For $19 +tax you would think the portions would reflect as such. Extremely disappointing and not filling at all. I still ended up eating elsewhere.

First time dining here. I need to go back multiple times to go through the entire menu! I went with a large group so I got to see all the delicious looking variations that everyone was enjoying. I had the original Cuban sandwich and it was so good! Our waitress was friendly and took the time to explain some of the dishes when asked.

Bodega never disappoints. Good vibes, good food, and fresh squeezed juices! Also the coffee is very traditional!

Lovely decorated restaurant with prompt & helpful service. The ambiance and food were on point! We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, Arepas, Cortadito & Cafe c/ Leche, spent $30 (tip included).

Bodega is one of my favorite local restaurants. They serve a combination of breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I've tried many different dishes. The food is always delicious! The staff members are always professional and warm welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. They're seating areas outside the restaurant. Continue the excellent work, service, and food.

Overall, I say this is just an okay place, but great to try if you’re in the area. A cute little spot in Uptown with great prices! I’ll start with the service, our waitress was very attentive. We got seated quickly and easily. I will say the tables are kind of close together, but plenty of space for the size. I ordered the chicken soup, chicken empanada, and Caribbean chicken with yellow rice and side salad. To drink, I got the freshly squeezed orange juice. The juice was not sweet at all. If I were to eat the orange this was juiced from I would be terribly disappointed. There was so much more pulp than anything in it, not enjoyable at all. The empanada was EXTREMELY dry. I’m not sure if it’s because it was simply just chicken in it or what, but you could definitely pass on that as well. The breading was good, but besides that, not enjoyable. For the more delicious part of my lunch…the soup! Probably the best part of my meal. Extremely flavorful and a huge portion to just he a cup. Definitely add to your order. My entree was also pretty good. The salad was fresh, the chicken and plantain tasted so good! Not like a Caribbean spot, but good for a Latin spot. The rice was kind of dry, but overall, a great meal put together. This is definitely a spot you’d want to try!
