I had been walking yesterday [10-29-2022] on the OSU campus, from Pomerene Hall to the Ohio Union, and just happened to walk past Mirror Lake [which, according to Wikipedia, is actually a pond rather than a lake but everyone calls it "Mirror Lake"]. Because of the beautiful fall colors and the great weather yesterday, I decided to take two photographs to post to Google Maps.

Peaceful lake inside Ohio State campus with benches for people to sit and enjoy the lake and the water fountain.

It situated at OSU campus and has a small nice fountain. though the water is not transparent like mirror, but overall its a nice small park.

Every time I pass by, I will stop and enjoy the moment.

Mirror Lake is a fantastic break from the rest of campus. It is a wonderful spot of nature in the middle of all the stone structures of campus. There are usually ducks in the lake, and they are so cute. The flowers along the lake's edge are quite beautiful as well. It is a great place to study on campus.

First visit since the renovations of Mirror Lake, and I can now say I like what they did. I wasn’t too sure about the changes when they announced the remodel, but after seeing it firsthand, I think they did a nice job. It has a more natural feel with well-designed walkways around the lake and plenty of seating areas. A great spot for getting pictures, hanging out with friends, or to read a book.

It has historical importance.

This is supposed to be Mirror Lake, not Mirror Swamp! This once beauty treasure has now become an embarrassment to the Ohio State campus. 'Drain the Swamp'
