I really enjoyed this coffee shop. It has a very chill and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and attentive to the quality they are putting out. I have been here many times and it is always a great experience. There is now a bigger room with more seating and amazing local art. Keep up the great work team!

I was pretty happy with this little place. The art is inviting and feels reviving, and the inside has a warm vibe that fits the recent cold winter weather. The staff probably could have been a little friendlier (though they weren't impolite!) and the espresso could have been pulled a little stronger, but the drink was decent enough that I certainly don't mind returning! There's a breakfast/brunch shop connected to the back that's also really convenient. The parking is hit or miss but nothing super inconvenient. Worth checking out.

A friend of mine moved to this area and recommended we stopped here for some tea/coffee. The cafe is warm, homey, and chill. The mega alien painting really sets the mood. 😂👽 There is a board game area in the back with a table and some chairs for people to use and different seating options up front with lots of live plants and big windows to look out. The menu is super simple and I appreciate that they offer dairy-free milk options. 🥛 I ordered a hot earl grey and my friend ordered an iced coffee (can't remember which kind) and we ordered an apple cinnamon poptart pastry to share. 😋 The prices were reasonable and tea and pastry were good. My critiques are the batistas/workers were kinda standoff-ish and not very welcoming. I dunno, I just got a weird vibe. Secondly, I wish there were more snack options. I'm not familiar with this place so they may be new but hopefully more options are offered in the upcoming weeks! I'm sure I'll return here with my friend in the future.

Came in for the first time today for a meeting and will definitely be back soon! My lavender iced latte was refreshing, the vibe was great (loved the music) and the owner was very welcoming. Everyone was welcoming really - we had great conversations with several of the other guests! I'm so glad I was introduced to Third Way Cafe!!

Stopped for coffee on our way out of Columbus. One latte with oat milk, one iced latter with vanilla. Friendly service, great tasting drinks, nice atmosphere. Check out the art gallery while you’re here!

First time at this place and I'll definitely be back! The barista was wonderful and made the shop feel more homey. The prices are more than reasonable in this economy and the best I've seen for a coffee shop like this in Columbus. There are two rooms, one quieter than the other for studying or working. The exposed brick, plants, and art are pretty and nice to look at while there. I'd recommend for anyone!

Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop with delightful baristas, specialty coffee locally sourced from amazing roasters like Florin, Roosevelt, One Line and Jennings Java. Great space for hanging out. Cool artwork and community focused. Highly recommend

Good coffee, very nice staff ...but I was misled by other reviewers' photos. The place looked spacious, but those turned out to be old photos from before they relocated. The new location is small, and pretty chilly right now. Not what I was seeking, a warm spot to sit comfortably and read for a while. Arrived about 8:45 on a Sunday yet only got a seat right next to the door, so constant cold air. I wish the business well, but the space isn't for me. Lots of natural light, though!

I have been a fan of this place since before they moved but now they are in their new location right across the street. Third Way Cafe is a very neighborhood-esque cool hip coffee shop. The coffee is always first rate The prices are what you would expect at a up to your coffee place. The pumpkin spice latte I got today was $6 for reference. Everybody in there is always friendly and they are kid friendly.

I was able to check out this local coffee shop . And from the moment I walked into the door, I felt the love and the warmth of the cafe! The owner and the young lady were very friendly . They recommended that I try the sugar cookie iced coffee and it was phenomenal. We chatted for a while about coffee and just the day! I highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a chill place to grab some coffee and to be around some pretty dope people. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu! Thank you third way coffee! You have gained a new friend!

Super cute little coffee shop, close to home. The barista was not very inviting. She looked mad. And they ran out of sugar. Overall dissatisfied with the service.

Cool space to stop and study in. Apparently, the books were all moved to a bookstore during the pandemic but they are apparently reorganizing the inside soon to have more work tables and whatnot. The chai tea was good and the guy behind the counter is the friendliest bro dude you will ever meet. Great vibes.

All coffee lovers in Columbus need to try Third Way Café. I love the stores mission and how they help dignify those that society casts aside. You won't regret going to Third Way Café.

A lovely little coffee shop. Great place to take a stroll to if you are within walking distance. Lots of seating area's, board games and a library of books. Fair prices, good portions.

Excellent customer service. Excellent coffee. Outstanding muffins. For me the only downside was that I think the place smells like cats but I guess that's not such a bad thing if you like cats....

My favorite coffee shop spot! Even after moving away, I make sure to visit third way and check out the books each time i’m home. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

  • 4/5 Megan F. 2 years ago on Google
Cool place, but doesn't have much seating, did not have any pastries or goodies (maybe they sold out by 9?), and only had one person working there while they were pretty busy which meant that we waited a while for our coffee order. They had advertisements for special beverages, but said they were out of the things to make that beverage. It didn't appear that they have any syrup flavours to add to bevs, so whatever you get is kinda basic. That's not a bad thing, but it is good to know if flavours are your jam.

I love this small community centered neighborhood coffee shop. Lots of live plants, a piano and works by local artists on the wall. Sometimes they will spin records on the turntable. Not to mention the best coffee from local roasters.

Tim is the best, he was super friendly. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. The coffee was great and a decent price. I will definitely be back in the future.

Best stop for coffee if you're looking for a small style spot. They offer a nice range of coffee and, can even make them iced of you like. Don't sleep on their homemade pop-tarts either. They're delicious.

My husband has never been a fan of coffee but he decided to try it again for the morning caffeine bump. And let me tell you he was incredibly impressed with what he got ( iced latte, almond milk, caramel syrup and an extra shot of espresso). I tried it and man was it one of the smoothest coffees I've ever had. Plus the amazingly huge monstera was stunning!

  • 5/5 Maddie B. 8 months ago on Google
I got a traditional cappuccino, and it hit all the markers you’d hope a cappuccino could hit! Also, they have a range of bagged coffees that looks like it was sourced locally + fresh, which is great. The ambiance was my favorite part. The plants and art and music all made it a very, very pleasant and cool experience. Loved stopping by this cute nook!

Intimate urban gathering place, the perfect location to catch up with friends and neighbors. New and vintage vinyl on the turntable and eclectic selection of books on the shelves. Oh yeah, the locally-roasted coffee is great, too!

Very cute shop with an industrial but very friendly and neighborhood coffee shop feel. Chai tea latte was well spiced and the cappuccino had good flavor. Seating inside and picnic tables outside.

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop, made the top 10 list in Columbus. Service is impeccable. Not a coffee drinker, but the peppermint hot cocoa is delightful! Not your average hot chocolate. It's become my $4 a day habit.

Local favorite for my family and I. Such a favorite, my wife and I had a small wedding ceremony there. The staff was so accommodating and they're always so friendly. We love this staple in our community. Photos from our wedding at Third Way's recently renovated space, by Betsy Jane Photography.
