Absolutely some of the worst customer service and incompetence I’ve ever encountered. I had to speak to 4 different representatives, including on the nurses line, just to find a hospital or urgent care that accepts Molina insurance. It was shocking to witness the low level of knowledge and assistance that any of the representatives were capable of providing. One actually hung up on me when he couldn’t find the answer, another sent me somewhere that doesn’t even take Molina insurance, another sent me somewhere that didn’t have the medical equipment I needed, and finally on the nurses line, I decided to just google what they kept looking for and found the information myself. Also, we live in a rural part of Ohio and had to drive to Columbus just to find a hospital that accepts Molina insurance. Stay away from Molina if you can! They’re horrible in terms of customer service We’re self employed and purchased this insurance on Ohio marketplace Extremely dissatisfied and will be shopping for a new provider in October when the market opens again.

I would absolutely never recommend Molina Healthcare. The customer service is consistently awful. If they don’t have an answer, you mysteriously get disconnected. The CSRs have no more access than I do online, cannot provide financial information such as explanation of cost for medical services or prescription medications. The only thing they offer is to file a grievance which takes up to 60 days to hear back about.

I have never had a problem with them until recently when I gave birth to my son. He got put this care, however when I received his card it was under baby boy and not his birth name. Job and family services confirmed that his birth name was on file but Molina does not have it and could not confirm it. I tried to make an account for him on Molina but it could not find the information on the card that I was mailed. Anyone else ever experience this issue

Me and my wife got a plan going with them so they took the payment out of my account. Few days later when the policy was active we went to the doctor. Only to find out they cancled out policy and never told us. Never got a refund, no phone call to help solve the issue, not even a simple email. DO NOT go with this company for insurance. Took them 45 minutes to give me zero explanation as to why it was terminated. Time to lawyer up!

Called re. mileage reimbursement when closest specialist was 2 hours away. Last time I called to do so was in 2019/2020 and I was told explicitly that calling 48 hours in advance was only required if requesting transportation, not if requiring reimbursement for driving self to appt. Apparently, the policy changed in the last 3 years, and now Molina's response is "you should have checked the handbook to see if there was a change." Who the hell thinks to check for a change in an administrative policy? And who the hell tells a patient who had to drive 4 hours round trip & pay for a hotel for a dr appt "oh well, SOL." When you update small details to a policy after years, why would you be surprised if your clients are not aware? Furthermore, when that change will knowingly further stress your clients financially, consider working with them the first time after you update it. Someone needs a class in humanity - or maybe just a dose of reality. News flash: if your employees don't have every line of your handbook memorized (& based on prior calls, they don't - hence, the 1 star), why the hell would you expect your patients to memorize every detail?

Absolute garbage people working on the phones! I called in to tell Molina they had a wrong number, and that person they were trying to contact, hadnt owned my phone number in about 5 years. The first rep i talked to, when i asked to be removed from the call list, said i needed to provide the name, date of birth and address of the person who didnt own my phone number for them to stop calling me. I asked to speak with a phone manager, and the first rep at that place, said he didnt want to, and hung up on me. I called back, asked for a manager, and this manager lady, being totally rude aside, said that she put me on the "do not call list" unsure if this is confirmed. I told her about my experiance with the first rep that hung up on me, told her that it was unprofessional to hang up on customers, she laughed, waited a min or two, and then hung up on me while i was on hold. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, UNLESS YOU WANT TERRIBLE PHONE REPS, THAT ARE RUDE, AND HANG UP ON YOU WITH NO CORRECTIVE ACTION BY TNEIR SUPERVISORS!

Molina is the worst insurance you could possibly have. There is a reason why the reviews are bad. I should have listened to the warnings to stay away from Molina. The only think you can count on Molina to do do is deny treatment, deny medication and let you suffer. It does not matter if you pay your premiums, it doesn't matter how much you pay. Absolutely terrible insurance, terrible customer service. Having Molina is like not having medical insurance but still paying $550 a month for nothing.

Molina is the worst, Aunt is 93 years old was recommended by doctor and physical therapist to receive a new wheelchair. All of necessary paperwork was completed and signed. Melina denied new chair, current chair is very old and not adequite for her physical issues. Do not sign with Molina. I will be registering our complain to state of Ohio.

👍👍 Not knowing what was wrong with me, and within the last half hour of closing time, a dear friend strongly suggested that I get to this location for treatment before they closed at 8:00 pm. To my surprise, I thought I’d be greeted with a, “you know we close shortly” look. Instead, and to my surpris...
