Visited for the first time to see author James McBride. We arrived to greeters happy to check us in to the event and they were very welcoming. Once checked in I walked around the center and looked at some of the art work posted. The event was very well run and listening to James McBride was a delight. He touched on his current book as well as a few of his older classics and had a long Q&A session. Afterwards he signed books and took pictures while the center had cookies and waters for everyone. It was a great evening and we look forward to attending another event at the King Arts Complex.

What a great fun family event space. They have so many events that are free and some that cost forthe community.

I used to come to the Kings Arts Complex as as kid all the time, and coming back as an adult gave me so much joy and respect for the community of Black men and women that raised me in this building! I felt such a great connection to my ancestral roots as an African-American man from Columbus, as I hadn't been back to the Complex in almost 30 years! This place looks so spectacular!

Great activities, events, and experiences at The King Center. Check out the art gallery, take in a show, attend a tea, or rent it for your own private event. Great space, great location. Parking in front and back. Many events are free. But please support local centers with a generous donation so they may continue to provide quality programming at reasonable rates.

I usually have a better time at this venue but I don't know what was going on with the heat. We were almost cooked alive! And the women's restroom line was around the corner. We ended up commandeering the large and unoccupied men's restroom so that we could get back to our seats before intermission was over.

One of the most beautiful buildings inside I’ve ever been too! Aminah Robinson and so much history in that building! Good things happens to those who wait. I visited the CDCFC Head Start program for an assignment and I drifted into the art respectfully!

Went to see 20andOdd presented by Gamal Brown and my mind was blown. To see history through the arts, poetry, and dance, that touches your mind body and spirit is truly beyond words.

Absolutely stellar! When an event is held there, the staff, the banquet food & staff offer superior service. And to be in a location that has artwork, historic artifacts and educational information presented in architectural facility that is pleasing to the eye and encourages the mind. This is a must visit site when coming to Columbus! And a must do for Columbus residents.

Unfortunately the park had a lot of trash scattered around the playground, and large amount of broken glass on one of the sidewalks beside the playground. There is potential for this to be a 5 star park if it were properly maintained.

What a beautiful, marvelously restored small capacity facility!! With a second, slightly larger one only blocks away. I applaud Columbus and CAPA for their wisdom in saving these historic buildings, and restoring them for similar re-use rather than getting trigger-happy with the wrecking ball as so many cities have. BRAVO!!!

👍👍 Nabbed my tickets on 614 day and attended today! It was a perfect fair day. We rode some cool rides, checked out all the old favorites (butter display) and saw some amazing shows. There is a reason folks flock to the Ohio state fair!!! Of course fair food is expensive- but what we had was delicio...
