    Buyer Beware! Their return policy is essentially non-existent. I'm an average sized guy who is not over weight. I went to purchase a ring from this company. They didn't have my size so they had to have it shipped to the store. It took only a couple of days to arrive suggesting that my size of ring was already made but in storage elsewhere. I wore it for two weeks and decided it was not comfortable. I attempted to return the ring, but was told that because they had to have it shipped to the store that it was a "special order" and could not be returned. I attempted to contact the company headquarters, but they ignored my complaint and never responded. Now I'm stuck with a ring that I will not wear and which I never had a chance to try on in the first place. Again, I'm not a big guy. So this suggests me that a large percentage of men who want a ring from this company will require a "special order" and get screwed if they end up not liking it. Buyer Beware, it is not worth shopping here.

    I'll start by saying this review is solely based on my experience from 12/11/21 after Ashcroft & Oak solicited for my review, if it wasn't for this negative experience, I would've rated a 5 stars as we haven't had any negative experiences other than this one. My wife and I came in to get our rings checked, we have come in every 6 months for 14 years and haven't missed a 6 month warranty period. Due to unforseen medical and family emergencies as well as us living over an hour away from the closest Ashcroft and Oak, we were unable to come in the summer following up from our January 2021 visit. We have never had any loose diamonds in the 14 years we have had our rings checked, but amazingly we had 6 stones loose for the first time ever while out of warranty (5 on my wife's and 1 on my wedding band). When the manager tries to show us all the loose stones, she struggles to remember and find the loose ones, appearing as if it's completely subjective to what is considered "loose." When she gets to my wedding band, she tries several times to get multiple diamonds to shift but cannot and says, "I guess you only had one loose," as if she was expecting to try and get more written up for charge. They provided a price of nearly $200 ($125 for my wife's and $65 for my ring) to fix the 6 stones on our wedding bands (which includes rhodium plating), and a price of $75 to get the engagement ring rhodium plated. I asked if they could not do rhodium plating on the wedding bands to save the $75 on the repair cost, and was told they can't adjust any pricing or services for the repair. I wasn't told why, other than the jeweler sets the pricing. It seems like a scam to charge $75 for rhodium plating on one ring, but charge $65 for repair AND rhodium plating on another, it just doesn't add up. The total experience of the manager trying to show loose diamonds but couldn't, the unexplainable charge amounts, and the inability to make sense of the charge rates caused a very poor experience overall that day.

    Everyone there is so friendly, professional, and helpful in finding the best price and piece for you. They have great customization options for people that want a specific vision like me and with the lifetime warranty it was a no brainer. Definitely recommend!

    Love the staff here, I was able to get a VS2 princess cut ordered and custom fit for my fiancée in just 2 weeks in time for an engagement party. That in itself is pretty remarkable but the staff here are so friendly that we keep coming back. Since we bought the ring we have bought necklaces/rings/bracelets for friends and family. They have a very good rebate/coupon option when you buy certain pieces and warranty!

    The Polaris store is such a great store comparing to the one that once was in Cincinnati. Jennifer, the manager and Theresa are so nice and professional. They were so willing to help me with my ring issue and assisted me with grace in the process of buying my next one. They are a great asset to the company.

    Came here after my terrible experience at KAY, and they were just as pitiful. I overheard the manager/gm talking down to a customer, and I got out before I could be spoken to in the same manner.

    The associates were amazing, both store manager and assistant store manager/diamond consultant were superior in their assistance. The diamond consultant (assistant manager as well) was terrific. I have a very particular taste and knew exactly what I wanted she was more than helpful in explaining the various diamonds, finding me a band that I wanted, and explaining the process of fitting a different diamond into the band in the future.

    While Ashcroft & Oak is a chain jeweler, it truly is the people who make the place wonderful. My fiancée and I started out our ring shopping in the last year and out of all the jewelers we’ve been to Jessica, Debbie, Theresa and the rest of the team at A&O at Polaris have been so helpful with our search. They’ve helped us imagine what our rings would look like and have been very accommodating to our requests. It also hasn’t felt like they’ve tried to sell anything to us, they have simply been there to help us make the best decisions. This is top tier sales in my opinion. So far we have picked up a beautiful Gabriel & Co. engagement ring and wedding band combo, a custom men’s wedding band (seen in the picture), and a set of alexandrite earrings. So far we’re about 14K invested, and for sure lifetime customers of the A&O at Polaris.

    For one, my ring is BEAUTIFUL! And two, I loved how helpful everyone was in the store. I went into 4 jewelry stores prior to Ashcroft, and Ashcroft is the only one that seemed like they genuinely wanted to help me find something I’d love rather than just trying to sell me something! I would 100% do business here again! And Michelle was wonderful and so helpful!

    I dropped my engagement ring off in mid November 2022…got it back a couple days before Christmas 2022, got it back and within an hour, one of my diamonds had fell out of my ring. Something told me not to take the ring because it did not look the same. It was shaved down on one side…totally ruined! Called the store immediately! Returned the ring to the store the next day (still in December), before the new year, and did not receive my ring until April 1, 2023!!!! I was told that the setting that my ring has could be “fixed” (chipped prong) and it literally took about five months for my ring to be returned…without any possible solution….Except to trade it in (was previously purchased from Andrews jewelers which has been closed for years). This was a super frustrating ordeal. Now I have to walk around and constantly check my ring to make sure the Diamond didn’t fall out. I’m too paranoid to wear it everyday…now my husband & I have to somehow get a different ring for me to wear. The staff there at the Polaris store (Jessica) was super nice and informative about the whole process when I would call for updates…but the home office took way too long for me for this to be acceptable. I’m not sure if we’ll ever make a purchase from this jeweler again….

    When they sold me a ring at Christmas time for my wife, they only had size seven I was told it was standard and bring it in later to have it resized. Ok ….when we took it back they told us because we did not take the protection plan we would have to pay to have it resized. 350.00 per ring for protection plan per ring . It was not disclosed at the point of service. I would not recommend this store.

    Brought my ring in on labor day to get a diamond replaced that had fallen out earlier this year during the stay at home order. We replaced the diamond and got my ring re-rhodium plated to help make it shiny again. Everything was completely covered by our lifetime warranty. The ring was ready the 19th, just as quoted and we picked it up today, it looks good as new, and I'm so happy to have my engagement ring back and in perfect condition!

    Worst experience. Went in to look at an engagement ring, was with one sales rep then was handed off 10 minutes later. Found one I absolutely adored, paid for the next day and had to wait for it to be resized. We were initially told it would be one week for it to be sized to what I needed, great right? Except when that day came, he called, and was told the jeweler hasn’t been in to resize it, that it would be another week. I obviously was not happy about that, but I was trying to be understanding. Two weeks later, he called and was told it was ready. Why did we never get a call? How long would it have been sitting there if we didn’t? So we go in. ITS THE WRONG SHAPE. They “looked into it” just to tell us, what they have is correct and that’s the ring, on top of that, the one I actually wanted was 7k more. As I’m looking at the one I actually wanted- I see on the tag it says LAB GROWN. That was insane to me, considering neither of us were ever told that. That’s a pretty important thing to know when buying a ring. Cost, value, make, etc. I will NEVER go back or recommend anyone to this place. In fact, if you’re thinking about coming here… do yourself and your future wife a favor and just go ANYWHERE ELSE.

    This is not a rate of service because the employees are always so kind. But, I always get my rings dipped and one is under warranty while the other is not (both rings were purchased at Ashcroft) The one that is not under warranty, is two rings soldered together. So, for years not matter the employee, it was always considered one ring when I got it dipped. However, recently I was charged for two rings. The lady kindly gave me a discount but I still had to pay way more than I ever did before and for two rings even though it is one now. I do not considered this fair and will most likely not get it dipped again or take my business elsewhere.

    Our experience at the Polaris location was simply AMAZING!!! Each and every person we came in contact with helped us and genuinely cared about our happiness. Theresa started us out, and Debbie and Jesseca closed the deal today. Ladies, you were by far the most caring, and hard working for our behalf. Special thank you to Kyle the jeweler who came from Mansfield to size and work his magic on my three bands. THANK YOU all for making this girls sparkle a LOT more and for making the husband so proud. Highly recommend fellas if you need a jeweler!!!
