By happen chance I stumbled across this memorial while in Columbus and walking through the riverfront area. I thought it was a fitting memorial to those who gave their loves for the citizens of Columbus. The memorial was somber and gave those visiting the oppurtunity to contemplate the sacrifices made. Well done to the fire department and the city on a well designed memorial in a perfect site.

It’s a nice place to sit and enjoy the view of downtown Columbus. There are many sitting areas or on the grass. The view is great during the sunset.
