I had the chance to visit Kitchen Social this weekend and see what all the hype was about. I will say they live up to every ounce of hype ! The food is phenomenal , the service was amazing and the drinks were delicious. My friends and I came for brunch. I Had the mimosa flight which was about $12 (worth every penny) and the shrimp and grits which was $11. The prices are great and the food was excellent. My only comment is the portion size isn’t huge so you may also want to get a side. I highly recommend their biscuits! They were really busy while we were there. However, multiple managers came up to us to make sure everything was going smoothly and our waiter did a get job of being attentive. I will be back just for the service itself. It has been hard to find reasonably priced, good service, tasty food restaurants during the pandemic. Kitchen Social exceeded my expectations! All of my friends loved their food as well!

I have been waiting to give this place a try for some time now, and it was worth the wait. My friend had been before and wanted to go back, so we placed a reservation. The service is everything they promised! Olivia, our server, was on it, and the food came so quickly that we were shocked. The Brussel sprouts, Cauliflower, and biscuits were amazing. The Pimento Burger and the double stack burger were excellent! To finish it off, we had the Brown Butter Cake, which was astonishing. Our cocktails were also delicious, which just made everything well worth it! The manager Dan came and cemented our experience with his wonderful attitude and smile. He complimented our choices and made us feel like we were at the best place in town. Overall, I had a great experience, and the atmosphere was delightful. You must give them a try!

Thank you KALEE M for the great customer service. Thank you Mr DAVID who said goodnight and thanked us as we were leaving. He was straightening up and we really appreciated him saying that. Five star my friend. We had the eggplant meatballs that came with toasted bread. It was pretty good. I broke up the meatballs and put it on the bread and ate it using one bite size portion at a time. I also dipped my bread into the marinade the meatballs came in. The cod fish with rice was good as well. It colorful presentation was good. We also had the lobster bisque soup and biscuits. The biscuits had a nice crunch on the outside and it was soft in the middle with a honey type flavor. For dessert we had the Tres leche cake. We thought it came with ice cream…. Nope. It was delicious though. The decor was nice, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff were all friendly. The location address seems to be incorrect on the receipt verses on google maps

Absolutely delicious food. The menu has a variety of interesting items. Had the fillet steak w/kale and fried potatoes...yes you read that correctly. Perfectly cooked medium rare. The other dish was the fried chicken w/ pink slaw & peppery honey sauce. Both were excellent!. They get very busy so reservations are a good idea. The bar is very nice and typically more fun than than sitting at a table (most true foodies would agree). The staff is very friendly and seems to care that the patrons are enjoying themselves. We had several bar tenders & managers check on us. A must try.

***Updated Review 9/1*** This place is not a one-off. The quality of food and friendliness of the staff help exceed expectation. This was a birthday dinner and I made reservations earlier in the week. We are approximately an hour away and ended up running into quite a bit of traffic. Prior to giving our take to the next waiting guest the staff called to check our status.. As we were walking in the door. Just another example of great service. We had a few starters but the two I want to should out: obviously the cheddar and scallion biscuits. They are a delight and the serving size is great. The second was the mushroom, onion jam, and boursin pizza. A thin crust pizza with amazing flavor - this is one of those things you have to try. Unfortunately, everyone started eating the starters before I could catch any photos. I did get a few of out entrees. Finally, the service level was great. Everything ran like a well oiled machine. There may have been issues, but as the customer I never saw it. Everyone worked together. Our server Dominic (sp?) Was great laughed, personalized, was attentive, but not overly. It was a great evening and wouldn't have been complete without dessert. The brown butter cake and berries was delicious. *************************************** So this was a place we have been wanting to visit for quite a while. We live an hour away so making a special trip for lunch/dinner....better be good. Be advised you will NOT be disappointed in the fare, atmosphere, or staff at KS. It was 29 degrees outside we were seated in the enclosed dining area...it was comfortable and cozy. The staff are all amazing they work like a well oiled machine and the food is simple but the flavor profile is so complex, but does not overpower the palate. If you come for nothing more than the cheddar and scallion biscuits you are good, but bring your appetite and enjoy.

WOW! Where do I start?! We booked reservation a month ago for my birthday as I saw all the reviews on this place and absolutely had to try! The food was by far some of the best food I've ever had. Had a great variety of dishes for all palates. Service was incredible and our food came out so fast! The Biscuits w/ honey butter, Brussel Sprouts and Korean BBQ Cauliflower are a must try for appetizers! The scene itself is so beautiful and just a wonderful social, welcoming environment, and it gets BUSY. Price point is great for the quality of food your getting and not expensive! I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. My main course was the Crispy Chicken Tacos and the Salted Carmel Cheesecake (was free) as my birthday dessert! The overall wait at 6pm on Sat was almost 2 hours for non reservations, so if thinking about trying this place, I HIGHLY recommend to schedule ahead, you won't regret it!!👍👏😋

Great place. Had brunch here with family. The waiters were really nice and friendly. The dishes we ordered were nice, but I noticed a common theme with the dishes; they were salty. Since it wasn't one dish, it's either that's how they make those dishes there or the chef for the day likes salty food. Other than that, the dishes were ok. There's a parking lot outside for cars. Open plan restaurant with high ceilings.

This is local at its finest... I feel excited once again to participate in Central Ohio’s continued growth in culture, community and food. This place got it right for me, and perhaps it’s the nostalgia of a warm spring evening and patio fires with great drinks. However the food just adds to the clarity, it is indeed thriving in all fronts, it is good food, atmosphere, service, drinks and an outstanding warm diverse crowd. It’s not fine dining it’s fun dining, some class, with a twist of modern; American modern, comfort, savory, clever... We had the exceptional pleasure of meeting and knowing our friend and server named Ethan who worked hard to be genuine, kind, funny, and reflecting his great potential. He is an asset to this establishment or any! We had a wonderful time and I know this place will thrive and I am proud of our city and one more place to savor. Thanks to everyone at this well earned, hard working food stop, suitable for any age or taste.

Really great place. One of the better places I’ve had dinner at in a good while. Do start with the biscuits. They’re almost like a desert prior to the meal. Great chicken which I’m not one to ever say. I had the BLACKENED SHRIMP CAPELLINI which was fantastic. Highly recommended. Good staff. I’ll be back when I can!

I love this place—very trendy, vibrant atmosphere. Some times it’s difficult to get a seat, but they do take reservations—just plan ahead. Whenever we have gone, we’ve gotten seats at the bar. They have a varied menu—something for everyone. We shared the Whipped Feta. My husband had pepperoni pizza (what else would he get on a Friday night?) and I had butternut squash carbonara. He really enjoyed the pizza, and my entree was delicious as well. I also had Forget-Me-Not cocktails.

Great: The food was really delicious and flavorful, especially the meatballs, cauliflower, and cheesy bread. Our table got a free appetizer because we had reserved a large table, which was a nice bonus. The warm chocolate cake was decadent, but not heavy. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Good: The salmon I ordered was good, but a bit dry. I think it was the cooking method for the dish. Bad: Nothing bad....just need to make sure to reserve a table in advance.

FANTASTIC first time experience! We were staying overnight in Columbus to visit the fair and stopped by kitchen social for lunch. It was bustling at 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday which was great to see! Everything from the appetizer to all of our meals was fantastic! The server was extremely attentive and helpful in answering our questions. (He was maybe a little bit too quick to clear our plates, though it felt like we had to rush. ) Would definitely recommend anyone in the area stopping here for a meal.

Kessashun(check his reviews out) reccomended this so you know I had to try. Flavor flavor. It was all there. No complaints on price. Would happily go back. Definitely a very busy place since foods good and lots of families and people on dates. You can't reserve I don't believe. 1st come 1st serve. Yes their chedder biscuits slapped👌🏾. If you go and dont get them, why did you go??

We came here with some dear friends and I'm really glad we followed their lead. EVERYTHING I tasted was out of the park and very reasonably priced (especially for the area). Wait staff were wonderful and very friendly. If you're within 20 miles this is a must experience stop.

Fun, trendy vibes with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of variety in the menu. Update: tried a few new items - the signature biscuits are absolutely worth the hype! Harissa chicken was excellent. Shrimp was really flavorful as well. Fish and chips were passable. Our server was friendly and attentive, as well as knowledgeable about the menu.

I wanted to visit this place for so long and finally I did! I’m not disappointed at all but I had different expectations. The best thing was cheddar honey butter biscuits. They were really really good. Had eggplant meatballs and the sauce was overly tangy. I ordered Schezwan noodles But they were more on sweet note . My husband had fish and chips and it was average. Also hit Mediterranean shrimp but quantity was too less for the price. I won’t say I didn’t like it but I’m not in love for sure. But the ambiance and service was really good 😊 Would come back to try more things but keeping in mind that everything will be on sweeter note.

This place had about a 30 min wait for a table. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, so we didn't mind, and I'm soooo glad we did. Everything, from the hostesses and our servers (Dave and Kylie), who were both incredibly awesome, I can't say enough positive things about Kitchen Social. The food!! The Cheddar+Scallion Biscuits, OMG! Whatever diet you're on, drop it and indulge. The Manager came to our table just to check in on our service. They really know how to elevate the customer experience. I see why there was a long wait. I also found out that Kitchen Social won an award (ColumBEST 2023), and it was very evident as to why. I can't wait for my next visit to Columbus. I know where my first stop will be.

Finally made it in and so glad we did!! We had a 5 star experience all around. My only regret is that I forgot to order the mimosa flight!!! We started with the Cheddar and scallion biscuits covered in honey butter...a must have for sure! I had the breakfast nachos and they were amazing! Totally up my alley with scrambled egg, chorizo, lime crema, cilantro..they almost had a huevos rancheros vibe to them!! Hubby had the honestyle breakfast which is a traditional breakfast with amazing thick bacon! We will head back soon to try the regular menu...can't wait

The customer service here was above and beyond amazing. I still can't believe how good it is every time I go back. I have never had a bad meal here. Everything is absolutely amazing. Everything tastes like it is made from scratch and the price is very reasonable for the quality. The only thing that was slightly off was the bar. The drinks I ordered tasted good but I couldn't really taste the alcohol. Even though the bar wasn't perfect it was still good.

First time cuatomers...we had Sunday brunch... definitely need reservations at least a couple of weeks out. Food was awesome, service was great. Absolutely recommend the shrimp and grits, mimosa sampler, and biscuits (both kinds). Server was friendly and attentive, but not hovering; we didn't wait long at all for our food or drinks. A+ in our book, we will be back!

Being that my husband and I are not Ohio natives we do not know all the wonderful things OH has to offer. So, we get excited when the opportunity to dine at a restaurant that we have never heard of or been to arise. First, when we were seated our server Anna (I think was her name) came over so full of joy (like she enjoyed being at work) immediately complimented me on my earrings, so I mentioned that I went with a friend to a festival, blah, blah, blah. Well, that went into a conversation with her telling me about all of the amazing festivals that Ohio has to offer. I just LOVE IT when the server makes me feel like I am their only customer that they have. She was so awesome, when she walked away I told my husband "let's pray the food is as good as the service." Second, the food! My goodness the food!!! Everything we ate was delicious and full of flavor!! My husband (the man that does not get excited about food) got the pimento cheese burger, and enjoyed it so much that I literally heard him talking about it until 6 p.m. and we ate around 1 p.m. My son got the double burger, which was another win and I had the mouth watering fish and chips with their homemade tarter sauce and I must add that I am not a tarter sauce fan, but I found myself talking and dipping my fries in it because it was just that good yawl! We will definitely be coming back because I am excited to try all of the other items on the menu. This restaurant has been added to the top of this self made food critics list.

Easily the best spot in Columbus. The food and atmosphere are upscale but the prices are not. Highly recommended! We got and loved the cheddar biscuits, shrimp and grits, creme Brule French toast, fish and chips, pizza, and Thai noodles. The service was also excellent.

Our waitress Amanda was super friendly, nice, and patient. We had the street corn nachos and biscuits as appetizers, and they were easily the best I've had in my life. I genuinely didn't know food could taste that good. The restaurant itself was beautiful and decorated perfectly. I tried the Tequila Thyme, Sunrise Mojito, and Forget Me Not drinks. Each of the drinks were delicious. This is easily the best restaurant and food I've ever had. I need to go back through my reviews and lower everything by 1 since I've now had a truly 5-star experience.

The food is great, I would recommend everything I had and I would order it again! The only thing I can suggest is actual lobster meat in the bisque. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable even though the restaurant was full. We did make reservations prior and I would suggest that as well. There were three in our group and we were all very satisfied. I'm from out of state but can't wait to come back, especially for the Shrimp and Grits!

I'm not a young person and I can't remember the last time I had as excellent an experience as I just had at Kitchen Social. My friend, who spent 30 years in the fine dining business, and I were first-time patrons. I had read the reviews online and decided to take him to KS for Sunday brunch. First, the initial impression. The place was packed and there was a wait. The front desk was calm, professional, friendly, and although they told us it would be a half-hour wait, it was more like 15 minutes. These people are efficient and they were clearly on top of it all. The wait staff: Beyond excellent. Our server, Amanda, showed up almost immediately, she was genuinely warm and sincere, she knew the menu in tremendous detail, and she made it clear up front that the restaurant could accommodate all kinds of customization to their menu items. She also told us about how all of their ingredients are fresh, never frozen, and sourced for quality. Throughout our meal, her service was perfect. PERFECT. The starters: We tried both the cinnabiscuits, which were a revelation, as were the cheddar scallion biscuits. Both were basically mouthgasms. Brunch: I had the chicken and waffles and I've had this type of meal in the past, but just not executed nearly as well as it was here. Wonderful. My friend had the chicken and sweet potato hash (see photos), a combination of flavors I never would have put together, but were a mind blower. My friend, the foodie restaurant guy, was really impressed....not an easy task. Finally, the manager, Dan, stopped by our table not once, but twice, and discussed a bit about the background of the restaurant and what they're working to accomplish. Seriously....this kind of personal interaction with restaurant management is extraordinary. It felt like days gone by, when this sort of thing was far more common. We greatly appreciated it and felt so welcome and appreciated. I will definitely be returning to Kitchen Social to try more of their extensive menu. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Came with a friend for some after dinner drinks and ended up trying the biscuits too. Everything was delicious. So glad we found this place! The servers and bartenders were polite. They generally seemed happy to be there and interacted well with eachother. We will be back!

Had a great experience here! Enjoyed everything we ordered, and service was great. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy but we were able to get a bar seat within 10 minutes so we didn’t have to wait the whole hour for a table. The filet was AMAZING!

🌞Saturday Brunch 🌞 From start to finish EXCELLENT customer service. The level of excellence set the tone for to receive a delicious brunch. Our wait on a Saturday at 12noon was about a 15 min wait. Our shrimp appetizer was full of flavor both the Crispy Thai Shrimp & Cheddar + Scallion Biscuits. The meals were also tasty both the Chicken & Waffles and Shrimp with Grits minus that poached egg.

  • 5/5 Anita A. 6 months ago on Google
What a great place to catch up with a friend! We met for brunch and we’re able to get in during a busy time with no wait. We enjoyed the mimosa flight and cold brew martini! The crème brûlée French toast was amazing, as was the avocado toast with sweet potatoes and egg. Very tasty and filling. A must try for anyone in the bridge park area (reservations for larger parties are probably a good idea).

Absolutely amazing. We have been three times and each time, we leave more impressed. The staff and beyond friendly and seem to have so much fun! The food is AMAZING! The price is fair at about $15 a plate. We went for my birthday and they gave me a free dessert of my choosing!! I have gotten the shrimp pasta (pasta name starts with a C. Sorry I’m undereducated) three separate time and it is outstanding. My significant other has gotten the tuna rice bowl many time too. He says it’s the best option on the menu. Not sure if I agree because I can’t get tuna past my nose. Although that is just personal opinion. Our last time going we got lunch and breakfast! I got the biscuits and gravy. It was delicious! The biscuits appeared to have baked cheese inside. And we’re glazed with a sweet sauce that resembled orange maybe? You’d have to ask the server if my tastebuds are correct. My partner got the standard, eggs, bacon, potato, and toast and loved it! The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. Happy staff, hungry people. Overall a very welcoming place. Good conversation and laughter can be heard throughout the restaurant which creates a very upbeat vibe. 5/5 stars! Amazing place to spend your time. And a delicious way to spend your money. I will continue to come back.

I’ll start off by saying that I looked at the menu before visiting and knew I wanted something off the brunch menu. It was a brunch date with friends. I’m lactose intolerant and everything I wanted had dairy. The server made sure to check with the chef before getting my food out. I was very pleasantly surprised when the chef came out to the bar to ask about substituting meats for my breakfast tacos. I must say I really enjoyed the chorizo and bacon substitution. 😋 Then I wanted desert. Wellllll chef sent out a berry plate. The staff was great. Overall the experience was positive. Shout out to chef Jose.

I ate here for the first time the other night for my birthday after hearing such amazing things! I can say positively that all of those amazing reviews are accurate! The service was amazing and the food was some of the best in the city! Everyone from the hostess to our waiter to the manager was amazing. The manager visited us several times during our meal to make sure everything was going smoothly. I have never been treated like such a high value customer anywhere else. They even brought my dessert with a candle in celebration of my birthday, which was such a nice touch! The food was incredible. It came out soo quickly and was fresh and hot. The drinks were designer cocktails at an incredibly affordable price. I would come back just to drink at the bar. I would suggest a reservation, as it helped us get seated right away and skip the wait list of people. Kitchen Social always has a wait and for good reason! I could not recommend this restaurant more, and it will be our only stop for special occasions from now on!

This was a perfect lunch for the Aichholz Family. The restaurant setup was awesome! We loved sitting outside on their covered patio. We ordered, the famous biscuits which are a must, their fried chicken sandwich, french toast, chicken bacon tacos, mimosa sampler and everything was perfect! We will be back for sure!

Happy hour here is phenomenal! It's only available at the bar, so you have to get there a little before it starts to make sure you get a seat because it fills up fast! Appetizers, pizzas, and drink discounts made it so we could order a bunch of different items and wind up not needing dinner. The food was delicious - Especially the crispy Thai shrimp and the bourbon glazed pork! 10/10 would eat here again every day if I could!

Tried it out for the first time and thoroughly pleased. My dish was the braised pork tacos (textured with rice, carrots, cabbage, pepper, creme) and lined with some sofrito rice. Taste was delicious and well seasoned. Atmosphere was very lively on the Buckeye game night, which was quite inviting. The two of us had sat on the high top, and marveled at the rustic-industrial appeal inside. Our service was excellent, and I'd imagine coming back soon.

Staff and managers were all very excellent. Staff was delightful and helpful to us throughout the visit. I also really appreciate the manager leading by example taking the time to be on the floor talking with guests. We were lucky to sit at the table closest to the chef that meant we were given complimentary biscuits. These were very good and led us into ordering a range of other starters. The table also ordered a slew of entrees that everyone enjoyed. The flavors of all the dishes felt well thought-out and intentional. Each of the dishes were also unique while still being true to the dish. My Crispy Chicken was made with jalapenos and onions with a nice sauce. It all came together to be filling and well balanced. The spice of the jalapenos was subtle and the onion didn't over power the chicken and sauce. The rest of the table really enjoyed all of their dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or even a local resident that hasn't had a chance to visit.
