Love is in the Scare in Columbus was simply amazing! From the decorations too the actors (including the costumes) the music the effects and the atmosphere everything was great. The event lasted around 45 minutes, so worth it. My husband and I loved it. Please keep that energy for your next event. This was our second visit to an event. It will not be our last either! Highly recommended 👌

Loved the creatures walking around socializing, photo props a huge plus. We had immediate access for our group and they delivered as expected. It was my 79 year old mother’s first haunted house experience, everyone was very attentive to her, she loved it as well as our entire group. We will be attending next year….

They have 2 haunts in their huge facility, both were great. Enjoyed the 1st one a little more, but what a theme they had! Quite a few great scares and the scenes were built with great detail. One thing they have not many other do, are hanging cloths or burlap to seperate rooms when you enter. Great job!

Went to the Love is in the Scare haunted house and it was unlike anything I've experienced before. I've been to "haunted houses" before, but nothing compares to this one. It was my first Fear Columbus event and I will be attending more!! From start to finish, it was pure excitement. You never knew where someone was going to pop out like some haunted houses. Very well planned and unpredictable. I highly, highly recommend this haunted house to anyone looking for a good time and good scare.

I am leaving a 5 star review even though I haven’t experienced this haunt attraction, but because I received the best ever customer service. Marco and Christina, you are ROCK STARS! My daughter, who was thoroughly scared by the way, visited with her father. Unfortunately, she lost her phone while going through and didn’t realize it until they were on their way home to West Jeff, so she called me from her father’s phone completely upset. It’s her only contact with her best friend, Katie, in NC. No one else has Katie’s number. I drove there myself fully intending to pay to walk through myself in an attempt to locate it, because I know they can’t halt operations to look for a lost article, but you must buy tickets in advance which is their way for them to control the numbers. I found this out at the entrance when I ran into Marco. I explained to him why I was there and he offered to take me to their desk to see if someone found it. Christina was working the desk and informed us that the phone had been found! I called it to show that it was my daughter’s and she handed it to me. Crisis averted. I love you guys!

Kind of disappointed in the haunt this year. We ended up getting stuck right below a strobe light in a small hallway for almost 15 minutes because the house was so over crowded. People from other groups were frustrated as well; trying to find ways to block the light while we were waiting for things to move. It really affected my 10-year-old child and I had to carry him because the light made him sick and dizzy to the point he couldn’t walk. It was not something I could’ve predicted or prevented. I was approached by a rude scar actor telling me I needed to put him down or she was going to get security on me. She kept following me around and harassing me. Perhaps if you care THAT MUCH, you can help me with a solution to get out quicker rather than threaten me, right? Like isn’t there a medical emergency protocol you should follow if needed? Have some compassion. Meanwhile, the other actors didn’t care and they were still engaging with us while not breaking character. So obviously, I still didn’t put him down because his safety means more to me than ONE PERSONS power trip. For as much money as I spent, I expected the whole experience to be better than it was. I think if they cut back on how many people can go on at a time it would’ve been better but that was not the case.

This is a top notch haunted attraction & production! The scenes & atmosphere are immersive, the actors are plentiful & scary! This is definitely worth seeing at least once in your life. The only issues are waaay too many people. Even though they separate parties, you quickly run into the next. And the sounds/lighting can be disorienting at times. Still totally worth the price of admission! Oh, and don't forget to ask the wandering monsters for selfies! They really get into it!

Absolutely amazing and terrifying. Went with my friend on Halloween night and to be excited the line wasn't too bad but we were soon to find out it was gonna be an hour and 45 minute wait. Honestly if you can stand for that long it's worth the wait. Don't bring your kids, like for real. I wanna say 15+ at least. They will cry and scream. It's well don't and absolutely amazing. Will be returning next year!

Good experience. It didn't seem scary but my wife enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, overall. It was dumb to buy a ticket for a specific 15-minute interval to still have to stand in line for over an hour.

Having experienced fifty plus haunted attractions all throughout the country, this is by far the most impressive haunted attraction I have ever experienced. From the professional and friendly staff to the immersive and in your face scares, this place should not be slept on!!! I traveled over 600 miles to attend their final weekend of the season and was blown away with absolutely every aspect of this production from start to finish. 10/10 Highly recommend!!! 👏👏👏

Super fun experience! We got the fast pass and did both haunted houses within 45 minutes (we did book for the first available time slot for 7pm and arrived early, which probably helped). The staff was very friendly. Actors were great. Very thankful for a haunted house giving the staff microphones to talk instead of them having to scream what they're directing you to do. The only complaint I have is that the strobe lights are a little much at times (in the indoor waiting area and at one point in the haunted house). But, we will definitely be back next year!

You could tell the people who had been there before as we were very confused as to why they were cramming 10 of us in the photo room. It is one of the things I look forward to is getting that rare photo together that's not a selfie. Spoiler alert, you don't get a picture taken. Funneled us through like chattel so the actors couldn't even hide again to scare the next people. Lots of time spent on putting lights up and decorating for the holiday.

It was AMAZING. This year we all jumped! It was completely different than any other haunt, and always has something new in store! Definitely would recommend!

This was my first year going and I was not disappointed. It was so much fun and lots of "gotcha" moments! Their attention to details was amazing! I was super impressed by all the props and set up! I paid the extra 10 bucks for the intermediate tickets and so well worth the money. My only complaint would be, when they say keep moving at a steady pace, just do it. When you slow down, you disrupt the flow of them trying to scare you bc they are not able to rest for the next group coming through. Please be courteous of others.

Let's be real. Saturdays are not the day to go if you want to be scared. The line outside was just as long but quicker than the line at your local bmv. The haunted house set up is cool. You get to walk through two in one building. The effects were neat. Not enough actors and too close to the group in front. Overall fun enough.

Best attraction for the scares! I can't wait until the next themed haunted attraction. Fear Columbus definitely knows how to make a haunted attraction. Did not disappoint and had amazing merch too! I did miss that last season they took our photo, this season they didn't. Doesn't make this place any less amazing though! Tiffany in the merch shop was amazing and even made sure to help in every way she could to find me what I needed.

Probably one of the better haunted houses I've been in. I loved the flow of the set up and I really liked how detailed it was. The actors really embraced their roles and made it really interesting. My only complaint is the amount of strobe lights. Many times I was unable to move forward because I was blinded by the strobe lighting. It kinda takes a bit of the "fright" away when you're having to hold your hands up to block the constant strobe lighting.

We had a great time, worth the money and drive. Both attractions took about an hour to walk through all together. It wasn't as scary as we thought, but they definitely got us a few times. It was extremely loud and vibrated with sound, with flashing strobe lights also, at some points it was a bit too much, but wasn't for the entire walk through. People with sensory issues may find this to be overwhelming. The props, costumes, special effects and themes set up in each room were amazing, I honestly would have liked to spend more time checking out each room and all the details!Lol. We had our teenage sons (19 and 16) with us and we all had a great time. Parking was close to the line entrance. We had general admission tickets (no fast pass) and really didn't wait that long at all, with the staggered half hour time increment for getting in line, the line moved fast. Krampus and a few others were walking around outside and were very interactive (scaring those not paying attention!) and eager to take pictures which made the wait very enjoyable. ...Only complaint is the so called heated tent and waiting area was not heated at all and we were quite cold waiting.

Highly recommend! We pick a different haunt every year and this by far was one of our favorites! Great attention to details and costumes are on point. The customer service was excellent...Marco and Hannah are excellent at what they do! Definitely has the creep factor that we look for and enjoy! Will definitely be back again. Thank you Fear Columbus for a great night out!

Started with a butterfly filled stomach! the line honestly wasn’t that bad. and the moment we got to the front it was excited as all get out. the actors waiting at the door to scare was fun, got photos and everything! Got inside and scared were amazing, but.. once we got to the inflatable tunnel things it got a bit scary. now, not saying it wasn’t a awesome idea, it is a haunted house after all, but while inside of the longer ones: i had lost my way around and we stayed in there for a solid minute trying to figure out way out. it was claustrophobic and i couldn’t help but panic. we got out and all took a breather. once we did i touched my pocket and- phone was missing. that’s all on my part of course! talk to the worker(s) about it and they started to look quick which was really kind of them. onto the second part, Anarchy, and it was a blast as well. even if i was sad about losing my mom’s phone: it was my first one i’ve been to when i came a while ago, and it will always be fun to walk through. after reaching the end we wrote down our info to contact me ASAP for the phone we lost. it wasn’t on a form like it should’ve been, but on a slip of paper from the cash register. after driving to my grandparents in utter defeat, after a few minutes there we got a call from the worker behind the counter saying they found the phone!! a fast drive back and we got it in the same day as we lost it. fast service when it came to our phone.. and a pretty scary, and long, haunted house. just- listen to the rule of no kids.. and hold onto your belongings. extra thanks to the ladies behind the merchandise counter for calling us right away!! we will be back!

The amount of time to go through is fair..alot of creativity and attention to detail for genuinely creepy scenes that look as if you walked into something real..the actors were very into their roles for giving it their all..had a great time!!

We had a great time. The haunted house is large and very intricate. The staff made sure it was a great experience. I don't know the guy in the picture, but he definitely had a great time helping us all have fun.

When I go to any walkthrough attraction my favorite part is good thorough set design that sets the tone for the story. Fear Columbus has a good amount of high concept rooms to prolong the suspension of disbelief and draw you into the story of the haunted house. Jump scares were plentiful, there are two haunted houses to go through that change concepts year to year. I will return in the hope they create a great story and have some interesting well thought out environments that pull you into a narrative, because the more involved you are being captivated by your surroundings, the easier you are to scare! Plus it's just cool.

Our group was one of the first groups to go through the haunted house tonight and it was honestly the best one I have ever been to. I typically don't get scared but they got me quite a few times. The amount of props and scare actors mixed with the atmosphere has to be the perfect mix to where I absolutely loved it! From one Halloween lover to all of you thank you!

First off I'm a hard critic on haunted houses. That said, they did a good job with this one. Good decor, good jump scares, good music/sound effects, good organization, good job of keeping things moving while also not bunching everyone up and ruining the scares for the back of the group, great job on costumes/makeup. Just all around decent. Definitely one of the better ones. GA lines get long. I suggest fast pass or immediate access if possible unless you don't mind waiting for awhile. If it's cold or rainy it could probably get pretty miserable waiting in the GA line to get in. Plan for minimum 45 minutes inside the venue after the line. As long as this one keeps evolving it's worth coming back to. Good Job Fear Columbus!

So worth my 2 hour drive. The graphics were beyond realistic. I felt like I was in a horror film. Love love love. Scariest attraction I’ve been to in awhile. I’ll definitely return next year!

Super sweet staff and amazing exit plans! I went once this past Sunday, and didn’t even make it through the first two turns before I had to leave. The staff was very understanding and nice about it, and one of the actresses teased me about leaving (without speaking or breaking character) . I went again just tonight, and made it through the first attractions but couldn’t go through the second. The staff was once again super caring and understanding, and one of the actresses walked me through a separate hallway. Very scary haunted house, very sweet staff!

  • 5/5 Jacob M. J. 2 years ago on Google
The love is in the scare event was magnificent! Fun valentines day themed horror entertainment. The amount of work that goes into each section of the haunted house is very impressive!

Best haunted attraction I've ever been to. Amazing decorations! Sooo many jump scares and little extras make it the best! The waiting line was very fun and made time go by. Could use extra heaters and a beer tent outside lol.

Absolutely one of the best haunted house I’ve been too! The actors and actress was phenomenal, definitely gave me and my spouse a big scare. The gift shop employees was very greeting and helpful as well. 10/10 definitely recommending to my friends!

We bought our tickets on line and picked our time slot. We did get the fast pass which I highly recommend. The entire experience was incredible! I screamed so much I was hoarse! The sets, actors and sound system are intense! This place is over the top! After there is an area with lots of Fear Columbus merchandise, lots of great photo op areas, games and food trucks to keep you entertained ! I highly recommend!!!!!

Fear Columbus is hands down the best haunted house you can find in or around the Ohio area. Everything from the sets to the costumes, actors, props, lighting, and most importantly the SOUND is a 10 out of 10 from start to finish. What an amazing job they do. Will be coming back again a couple more times this season for sure. Worth every penny spent.

Amazing and fun experience. Awesome displays. They were packed of course but we got the immediate access ticket and didn't have to wait. We will return next year.

Loved it. The group ahead of us kept stopping and we caught up to them multiple times, and things didn't reset fast enough so it didn't work right with the laser tag score things, but the sets were amazing, the actors costumes were amazing, plenty of jump scares. As a haunted house it was great. Even though the laser tag didn't work right, I don't blame fear columbus. They repeatedly told everyone do not stop or you could ruin the experience for the next group. Some people are just incapable of following directions. Still just having the guns and things to aim at made the haunted house experience the best I've seen yet

  • 5/5 Jessica C. 9 months ago on Google
Always have a blast at this location! Props and sets are amazing, actors and staff are great! They always have the best music playing while waiting in line, line moves at a steady pace. The Haunted House in October is one of the best I have ever been through lovers in the scare during Valentine’s Day was a lot of fun to go with her friends and just completed first time through Nightmare Combat, which did make you feel like you were in a live video game!! SOOO MUCH FUN!!!

  • 4/5 Steve M. 1 year ago on Google
Longer than 2021. Warmers in line to help heat. Good time. Wouldn't recommend groups larger than 4. Anyone after 4 knows the scares are coming.

Thank you Tim for making our experience unforgettable. We did not receive our QR code card but he saw that I had paid for pictures and did right by it. I will definitely come back next year. So much fun. Wish it had lasted a little longer. Made me miss my military days.

Was an amazing experience. There was a ton of actors, and great security. I'd say it's perfect for 13+. Amazing atmosphere, just know that it is pretty loud inside. Only 4 stars, because they we all sold out of the hoodies within only a couple hours. Definitely plan on visiting again!

Took my girls to the krumpus Christmas experience and it was really good. Great set up. Actors were really good at what they do and looked like they had fun while doing it. The line moved fairly quickly. Have to buy tickets online first but totally worth it. Totally worth the 2 hour drive... I have never been to any of the things that they put on here but look forward to going back for more!!! Great job!!

  • 5/5 Carly M. 11 months ago on Google
I had an amazing time! I went to the Combat event and had a blast. Prior to this I haven't been to any haunted house or scare event so this was amazing! The actors were very fun and respectful of distance and the animatronics were awesome! Great staff in between to say where people are and help you out. I will be back to find more events here, thank you Fear Columbus for a great birthday weekend event for me.

  • 5/5 Wes C. 11 months ago on Google
I loved it! I can't wait to go do it again!! 21 kills and no deaths!! Not too bad. Not sure how many possible kills were available. I know we missed 2 that were behind me that we couldn't spin and get. I did get one backwards over my shoulder though that was pretty sweet!! I highly recommend it. They also have staff to push you through the course.

  • 5/5 Tina K. 1 year ago on Google
