Unfortunately Riverside has been sending my lab work to Corpath for the past 6 years. However, for the first 5 years they billed me appropriately and I was able to pay on their website. I moved three years ago, they billed me appropriately until approximately 9 months ago when they decided to, apparently, bill me at my old address. I didn't know this until they sent me to collections though. Their girl from billing said she would 1) fix my address, 2) bill me at my current address again, and 3) remove from collections. To this day I do not know if she did any of the above, because I never received a bill, and they never pulled me back from collections. I emailed their billing and asked for my account number to log on and see what their website said. The number the person gave me was 1) not a real account number and 2) therefore did not work. (by the way, they changed their billing website - their main website still directs you to their old billing website which no longer works) Absolutely useless company. If you go to Riverside or any OhioHealth (and likely other locations in the city) you are at their mercy. What can you do about it? Aggressively call them and make sure they have your information, and ask what you owe, if you know you have had lab work recently. CHECK YOUR CREDIT REPORT through creditkarma or a similar service. If they have sent you to collections, dispute it. Disputing it is free and easy, you literally have nothing to lose other than them saying maybe "no". You must dispute it through all 3 services - Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. You can do all 3 online through their websites (you can do Transunion from CreditKarma's website). What else can you do? Possibly call your medical facility (in my case OhioHealth) and lodge a complaint. If enough people call, they will stop using this lab service. There are other laboratory services in Columbus they can use. They should not be using one that is ruining their patients credit ratings.

This company submitted 6 entries as collections to the credit bureaus for the same date of service with different amounts. I had no medical treatment on the date of service. This greatly hurt my perfect credit score. I don't know them. I definitely filed a dispute on my credit.

Never received a bill not a call nothing. They just sent it straight to collections. I have reported this company to the BBB itโ€™s absolutely disgusting. As it turns out they are getting kick backs from choice recovery inc. So instead of informing patients of the bills that are owed they hold on to them and send them to collections. Please feel free to report both companies as well.

I'm having a similar experience to everyone else's previous reviews. I received a call from a collections agency out of the blue, saying that I have an unpaid bill from Corpath... even though nothing shows up on my insurance (so they didn't bill my insurance) nor my OhioHealth patient account portal. The collections agency says Corpath sent me a bill previously... to an address I haven't lived at in over 5 years. This level of incompetence should be illegal.

I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. After not billing the lab charges to my insurance company they sent me to collections. I did not know this because the collection notices were being sent to an address I had not lived at in 15 years. I find this all out a year later when I go to refinance my mortgage and my credit score is bad because of their collection reporting. Please check your credit if you may have had lab work sent to this company.

Since sending a bill in the mail is apparently an inconvenience to you. Why wonโ€™t you send us a text with a link so we can pay it or just send the bill to the OhioHealth app like other Labs in town? But no, you had to send it straight to collections and now I have to deal with It . Horrible service. Reported to BBB

I didn't receive notice of a bill until it went into collections and dropped my credit score 90 points. Based on the reviews, I'm not the only who has had a horrible experience with their billing. Somebody really needs to take a look and correct their processes

I can 100% mirror what others here have said. I only found out I owed this lab money when the Collection hit my credit report. I called the collection agency and they asked if I still lived at โ€œthis addressโ€. The address was one I have never lived at, it was the address of the actual Cleveland Clinic. So ten months later and a 30pt hit on my credit score, I paid the $29 that was owed. Now to see how negatively this affects my credit score in the long run due to an incorrect billing address. UPDATE: I spoke with Corpath billing directly who also confirmed they had the incorrect mailing address on file for me. They were apologetic and assured me they would work with the collection agency to have the collection account canceled and removed from my credit report. Time will tell if that is successful, but I did appreciate that they at least seemed to understand the gravity of the mistake and showed willingness to help correct it.

Got a bill after procedure. Called them and they said they would do an appeal. Then got collections letters 5 months later. No notice that my insurance didn't pay just turn it over to collections.

Same as others. I didn't recall any service/s rendered by CORPATH LTD, but I could also be wrong. For sure I've never seen the bill/s, which were menial: $115 in total ($12, $12, $44, $13, $15 and $19), all of those were charged on the same day 08/06/2019 but one 07/02/2019, and transferred to CHOICE RECOVERY LTD on 09/01/2022. I found out about all these from my Mortgage Loan Officer and Equifax. These has impacted my Credit Score and my ability to get a lower mortgage rate (and Thousands of $$$ if it's not taken care of), but in my defense, I didn't know about them, otherwise for such a small amount, they'd all be paid and taken care of 3 years ago. BUT due to its shady practice, I have reported and filed a complain to OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL Dave Yost's office. I urge others to do the same, so these businesses would be investigated for their Dirty Unfair Practice. Please make sure you have a document to support your complain to prove your case. If there's any Class Action Lawsuit launched, I'd also like to participate.

This company sent 5 bills to an address and phone I moved from 23 years ago. The collection agency found my new address and phone # quickly. I had been in the hospital getting several bills all paid in full on time and not at Riverside. All the several other medical bills were sent to the right address? I called several times trying to find out why they didnโ€™t send the bills to my current address. I never got an answer.
