    Attention attention attention, gym goers please do not go to this location for work out. There are a lot of people who come here for only stealing instead of coming for work out. The management here are also irresponsible if you got your stuff stolen here you will not get any help from the management team or the workers. I got my wallet and car keys stolen and when I asked for video surveillance camera the manager told me there are no any cameras in this planet fitness location.I called the police to report the theft and they told me since there is no video surveillance in that building they will not be able help me. Also the safety of this location is compromised since there are no surveillance cameras in this building this means it is too risk to work out. If you don’t went a problem please DO NOT come here for work out.

    This planet fitness is one of the most luxurious planet fitness I have ever been. very clean, The locker room areas clean the showers. customer service at planet fitness is always good ☺️☺️. Just like the sign says on the wall, no critics. I definitely belong planet fitness. I love planet fitness. It's my favorite gym to do my workout.. less than $30 a month. You got more than what you need to workout . You are worthy of paying a dollar a day to take care of your body..

    While visiting Columbus, I stopped in. I travel a lot and have visited many Planet Fitness locations across the country. This gym is clean and well arranged. The staff had smiles as I entered, and the vibe was energetic and positive. I'll return every time I'm in the area

    I love the facility and the people however they should monitor the 30-minute workout room a little more closely It was very frustrating to have other patrons sitting on the equipment texting while you're trying to do your 30 minute workout and get out of there

    I had been going to this gym since 2006 with my monthly membership being paid directly from my checking account. Never had an issue! They make you have a credit card on file for back up. My card had expired. I had tried to give them a new expiration date, but the person working that day didn’t know how to update it. I was also told I could update it online, which is not true. Taking my credit card to the gym is not top of my mind, especially considering my payment comes out of my checking. Apparently my expired “back up” card hit a nerve on this particular day and the front desk associate decided it was worth calling the police and having me escorted out of the gym like a criminal. Again, this is a back up card. The last time my card expired, it took them 5 years to even mention it to me!! My February fee had already been paid. I understand a rule is a rule, but calling the police. I have no words! I’m a small fish in a sea of PF patrons, but I’ll never recommend this location.

    Great place to workout! It is very clean, the staff are totally upbeat and friendly. This location has plenty of water bottles for purchase I bought mine from here especially for the price! Honestly you get pretty awesome deals each month for signing up and you will love the staff!

    HAD TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION!! I had a membership years ago and cancelled my membership due to there not being a facility where I moved out of town. When I called in to cancel I was told that everything was taken care of and that my membership was cancelled. Fast forward to now I move back home and went to rejoin and was told that I have a $500+ balance but I was only told this after I showed up to work out after paying for a new membership (why would their system let me sign up and take my money if I have a balance owed?). When I arrived mind you this is not the former home location but I was told I could not workout after that day until the balance I had no idea about was cancelled from another location.. I called and spoke to Gabby and she told me that they can reduce the amount from $500+ to $104 or she can cancel my membership (mind you she told me she could cancel over the phone) ( and that’s a big gap to take off if I truly owed that amount so that to me is odd to reduce it to that) she told me to think about it and call back and that she was putting a note in my account so that whomever I speak with when I call back could cancel if I chose to, so I did. Last night planet fitness takes $40+ out of my account and when I call about it, I find out that Gabby lied on my account and did not put what she told me she was putting on my account and that my membership is not canceled and that she was not going to argue with me about it, mind you she’s speaking over me, cutting me off and was beyond rude and argumentative with me. So I told her thank you for showing out on that phone call because I was recording her and I hung up and called my lawyer.. I advise anyone who deals with them to record the phone calls and call a lawyer. This is NOT how a business is supposed to be ran they are ROBBING people by still charging after they have cancelled on multiple occasions! How are you taking my money for a service you say I can not use but then won’t even put the money towards the $104 you claim I can pay I would of been willing to accept that plan but at this point I want nothing to do with planet fitness.. CALL A LAWYER

    I deeply, DEEPLY wish I could give negative stars for google reviews. This gym is clean, has nice amenities and good events, but it wasn't for me. So, I cancelled my membership in January of 2020. As of August of 2022, Planet fitness has charged me for over 400 dollars. I have called every month for over two years, gone in several times and even tried to contact corporate support but every time I've been told "well too bad, we can't give you refund but we'll stop charging you" and every month without fail I've been charged. Not only have they not stopped charging me, my account was deleted so I couldn't even go work out. If charging me for a service that was being denied sounds familiar, its because that's theft. The staff has been incredibly understanding but are powerless to do anything, I keep being told that nobody can get my money back and that the charges will "definitely stop". Its a nice gym, don't try to cancel.

    Never go here, went a few times years ago and decided it was horrible. Worked there for a month and you have no idea. Stabbing outside, bleeding victims coming in, homeless people use the showers and staff does nothing, stations never filled, equipment is horribly maintained, and the dirt and dust are disgusting. Whenever a staff member seemed to care they were gone soon enough.

    Not the best planet fitness location in Columbus. If you’re able to try and avoid it as there have been multiple car break ins, one of which I experienced. There are no functional cameras in the lot that can help either, so if someone gets into your car there’s nothing that can be done. Had $300 stolen. Always lock your locker here too, I’ve seen people rummaging through unlocked ones. Not a safe gym and the clientele is just as questionable. I’ve quit coming to this location entirely because of these issues. Upside though the staff is friendly and they do a good job keeping the place clean (at least when I was going)

    Generally speaking, planet fitness is the wild west. do what you want, no one cares (which is a comforting thing at a gym in my opinion.) love that they are open for 24 hours; don't love that it takes them months to fix simple stuff like a soap dispenser in the bathroom.

    This gym is probably the trashiest Planet Fitness anymore. The female bathroom is always dirty. There are 2 soap dispensers in it. One has fallen off the wall and the other one needs new batteries. Yes, it has been mentioned to the front desk multiple times. The floors and sinks are always dirty. This place has gone down hill so much. I dont think they are even cleaning the tanning beds in between use. There is no room to do any exercises on a mat. Disappointed. I only still go there because it's closest to home.

    My husband and I were banned from the gym because some meat head reject Manager claimed that he was training me because we had a black card membership that allows a member to bring a guest for free. They told my husband that he was just standing and not working out and I was working out which is not allowed, both people have to be working out.. They accused him of training me.. So why does your stupid gym even allows to bring guest for free if you are paranoid freaks about people training people at your gym? My husband was sore from previous workout the day before and did not really want to workout but I forced him to workout with me to keep me company and he was just hanging out with me that day. WE both got kicked out and banned. The only reason why dumb greedy companies allow to bring a guest to the gym for free is to take away business from other gyms otherwise planetfitness would not prosper, they have to lure people in some kind of way. They do not even have free weight bench press or squat rack, only good thing about any planet fitness gym is that they got lots of dumbbells. They don't even have a normal pull up, all the handles are stupidly shaped on all of their pull-up bars. You people are so idiotically stupid for kicking people out because they are not working out with their partner.

    This isn’t my favorite PF location. It was enough to make me upgrade so i can visit different locations. I originally had a membership with South High and wanted to change to a place closer to work. This location is extremely crowded and not very beginner friendly. the tight space makes it difficult for those with anxiety around working out. it’s usually pretty busy. i saw the sign on the door that said if you don’t have a mask the front desk will provide one. staff said they didn’t have any, so i had to walk all the way back to my car which was parked pretty far away. not the biggest deal, but pretty inconvenient as a first time visitor. there are two stair machines, which are my favorite and the reason i have a gym membership. one is broken and the other is usually occupied. the room is super cramped and crowded. i prefer locations with less foot traffic and more spacious areas. i didn’t see any stretching or ab areas in this gym either, and stretching is a must for me before a workout. overall not a great location.

    Sawmill location very welcoming of people with service dogs, more mobility later at night. Fully ADA compliant and more welcoming of ppl with disabilities than my religion. Bullying by gym members is a persistent issue, touching /grabbing my service dogs, illegal parking in handicapped parking, gym member stalking us as I use equipment. So many “Karen’s” who have no! Business deciding how this planet fitness should function. I was asked by stuff what tasks my dogs can do, which is now legal to be asked, but if answered can lead to disability discrimination. For instance if I go to a car rental business and they ask me what service my dogs preform, and I say with near sighted guidance, a car rental place can now deny me a rental, even tho my drivers license is still valid by stating I have some vision issues. Most companies ask are they service dogs and do they assist you? Thus avoid my revealing my diagnosis or medical conditions. But I was asked what tasked can my dogs do, and did in saying what they can do, revealed my medial conditions which violates my HIPPAH and puts me at risk for discrimination from a gym due to liability issues by my own admission. It sucks. So far the staff have remained congenial but some the gym members have not. Luther is Ahmad if!! And Dusty over at Indianola is great ! Libby ?? and gabby are great too they’re just doing their jobs, but the on slot of question and judgement from the members is terrifying and dangerous for my service dogs snd thus why more disable people do not improve they health bc our society hates disabled people.

    Pros: the staff are generally friendly Cons: it is a VERY small gym compared to other locations and some of the equipment is outdated and old. What makes it worse is that it’s usually pretty crowded. So you’re close to everyone and don’t feel like you have much space. The shower and changing rooms are also very small. I usually go to the Westerville location and that one is WAY bigger and feels more comfortable. I know this is probably out of their control unless they buy another half of the plaza but I won’t be returning to this location because of the size. It can be very intimidating. Also, it’s very difficult to find parking most of the time.

    Was visiting a neighboring business today and noticed they had 20+ parking spots blocked off in the small shopping center as it seems they are bringing in new equipment. When I was exiting I walked into a scene of the owner/manager having a meltdown yelling at who I can only assume was the landlord that seemed to be asking him to move his semi truck from the parking lot. This shrieking manchuld was having a temper tantrum like a 4 year old. I can't imagine ever doing business with him or how miserable his employees must be. Will stay away from this location in the future.

    Terrible place. Canceled my account and they continued to charge me. Going as far as to say im still actively going after I canceled and had been going elsewhere. Obviously they messed something up.

    Dirty, smelly, broken soap dispensers for months now, hydromassage bed 7 broken for weeks, have to notify staff about lack of sanitizer/paper towels, untrained staff programming the tanning beds (requested 8 minutes, bed still going after 10 minutes…got off & ask that they shut off parteners bed which they would not do & I had to bang on the door like mad), when there is enough staff they hang around the front desk either visiting or on their phones. This place needs some serious attention.

    Franchise owner please contact me New manager is pushing people out daily. This includes employees. I respect policies, but not poor approach. Polaris PF is immaculate, has great customer service and took time to explain policies to me. I’ve been a member for nearly 3 years and unfortunately Clintonville PF has declined heavily. The smith machines are not placed properly, equipment repairs are extensive and the gym is very small. I started my change there at 407 pounds and I’m happy to report I’m now 215-20. It’s sad today will be the last day I enter the building. I understand the rules, but was unaware of the bag policy. I’ve never been approached before, so was baffled. I chose to leave, but was followed by the new manager when I said I would leave to go to Polaris. It’s far superior in service and hours. The new manager made two regular members feel unwelcome. Polaris has been gaining more and more members who are extending their days and driving north.

    Best gym for the price. However they sadly don't let you cancel you membership over the phone or online, the only way to do so is to go into the gym and fill out some paperwork. It's only slightly annoying because they have an app and website for convenience but it's not so convenient.

    The gym has a lot of newer equipment (May '23) which is nice. It absolutely kills me that there's always people in the 30 minute circuit area doing multiple sets on the machines. Last time they're was a guy on the bench press machine in the circuit area the entire 30 minutes I was doing the circuit (see photo) and I had to take a picture because he was directly beneath the 30-minute-circuit-onky sign

    My friend and I went yesterday to this place and we didn’t know how to use the equipment properly, and all of that, then rachel found us and helped us! she was amazing at explaining how to use the equipment, sharing her experience, encouraging us. and she kept asking from time to time how we were doing, how we were feeling, until we left. we are so happy with her! she’s amazing, and this place is amazing as well.

    Gym is mostly fine. I have permanent nerve damage and the massage beds help a lot. Most of the staff know so they'll let me use the beds for however long I need em. Though there's one guy who will only give me 10 minutes. A short guy with blond hair and piercings and he seems to have an attitude sometimes. But idk maybe he just has bad days

    The manager, Meko, is awesome!!!!!!! I love his customer service. I can't wait til 60 days. I'm switching this gym as my home location! They have equipment here other planet fitness don't have. Honestly, the way meko care for his customers is everything to me! Keep up the good work, Meko. I see you moving to the top!

    Make sure you don’t forget to cancel your membership because there is no refund even if you have not been in the gym in months. My fault for not paying more attention but you’d think they’d be a little more understanding. And yes this is petty of me but I’m broke and now I’m out of 41 bucks that could have been gas money. Bad timing :(

    Blatant breach of contract combined with management denying they can be at fault for anything. I watched them write lies twice to weasel out of getting in trouble with corporate when they messed up. Don't do a corporate PF, do a franchise. But it's cheaper to just buy your own weights and treadmill. Staff is very out of shape and they can't keep employees.

    I got my workout in but it’s literally the smallest PF I’ve ever seen. But my real issues are that the mats are outdated and small, there are no big stability balls, no medicine balls, no Prone Leg Curl machine, no ropes, weird layout of machines circling the cardio machines, no dumbbells by the stretch and mat work area. Only reason I gave it 2-stars was at least it was reasonably clean.

    A good average fitness, because it is smaller it lacks the 360 fitness area. But got a good amount of equipment in every other variety. And design wise, a lot of the machines feel tight due to their size and layout.

    Smaller planet fitness with an extremely odd layout, especially the men's locker room. It is maze like in design, and there is no privacy at all. The usual changing area is nonexistent at this location, and the first area everyone walks through is the lockers in the most awkward and intrusive way. It made me feel uncomfortable, like I was intruding on others who were changing. The shower area was even worse, where there is not even a curtain to the niche area across from the shower. I am guessing it was planned to be a private changing area but has not been implemented properly. Overall, it is a nice and clean facility that could have been designed better, but it is a little late to change that now.

    Clean club, but terrible staff. I contacted them in order to cancel my membership, and the staff member told me that I need to cancel in person or mail a paper letter. In 2023, that's a fairly unreasonable request, especially given the number of people who may need to cancel due to illness. When I politely asked if there was any possibility of doing this another way, the staff person just laughed and hung up on me. Very unhelpful, and makes me never want to return when it's possible to do so.

    Here's my BBB complaint... I came into the gym (Planet Fitness) today, April 13, 2023 and was told I could not go in. I was told that I was informed two times previous to update my credit card information and I had not so I could not go in. I said that I had paid for the month as they had my bank account information and I was paid up through April 17, 2023. My complaint is that I was denied a paid for service in order to extort financial information. This should be illegal. I also was not told when I was reminded (twice) to update my card information that I would be paying to be punished in this way, nor that these reminders were being logged. I was also not told I would have to cancel in person while I was there. I went home to log in online and found this out later. I went back to the gym to cancel, told the representative my story and she only wrote "billing" as the reason for cancellation. My cancellation was processed. I asked how many days I would be allowed to use the gym still and was told a date in May. I asked if I was being charged for an additional month and was told that my direct withdrawal was "drafting" (four days from the end date?) I was not offered a refund. I had told her that I was not comfortable with the company having direct access to my account information if they had a flagrant disregard for the law and would punish a paid up customer. When I signed up I was suspicious of this kind of thing happening but for $10.75 a month I decided to ignore that they had no way to pay ahead of time nor any way to pay as I go or with a credit card. I was further suspicious of a back up credit card needing to be on file. In the past I have found these to be red flags for coercive practices and, months later, I see I should have trusted my instincts yet again. I could not find an account number online but my carbon copy of the cancellation has membership# I would like to see a change in policy. If someone is paid up, Planet Fitness should not be able to deny paid for services extort from members Refund An apology. and if there are consequences attached to something or interactions are being logged then members should be notified of such. And your response attempts to mischaracterize the event as a cancellation instead of acknowledging the reason for my cancellation and complaint which is another red flag. I don't trust Planet Fittness with my bank information nor do I trust giving them access to my bank account. It is being abused illegally.

    Rachel is literally the best person ever. She is such a fantastic energy and inspiration. Just knowing I get to see her helps me come everyday. The world needs more people like her and the Sawmill Planet Fitness is stealing one of the best!!

    The facilities fit my needs when I lived here, but the process to cancel is very inconvenient. I no longer live in Columbus, Ohio, and being required to come into the location or send a letter to cancel my membership does not make any sense. Additionally, I have 3 $15 late fees, even though my credit card and bank account information have always been correct. It's not my fault that your credit card system failed to charge my card properly, or had trouble accessing my bank account. I have always had enough balance in my bank account and have used the same credit card for every other service without having a payment bounce. Now, Indianola PF is expecting that I pay $45, transfer my home gym to a gym in Atlanta, and then go into that gym to cancel my membership. My other option is to pay $45 and then mail them a letter. I am not, in the year of the lord 2023, mailing a letter to cancel a gym membership. And, if I want to freeze my account, I need a medical letter or some active military duty call. This process is absurd. It should just be a button on the website, they make it intentionally difficult and complicated so that you're less likely to cancel.

    7pm is way too early to close on the weekend. Your motto used to literally be 24/7. Could you at least do 9pm? I completely forgot about this today and my work out which was going well was interrupted. This is the one reason I’ve been given to consider other gyms….

    Just want to give 5 stars to the staff alone. Incredibly nice bunch of people who are helpful, gracious, and kind to everyone that walks in the door. Never feel like I’m bothering them if I need help with something or have a question. Just great folks, they’ve done a really nice job building their team.

    The indianola location the stair stepper has been down since May or June. Wouldn't be so bad but they have only two, other have multi. The drinking fountain doesn't cool. Staff and visitors are always on their phone in the lockers,in this world. Paper towels are out a lot.

    You have 5 staff members at a time. The water fountain should not have such a build up of mildew/scale. It's nasty. Get them out behind the counter and make them clean this more regularly. They've been told repeatedly and they seems to clean it maybe once a month at this point.
