This location is horrible. The bathrooms are always dirty, the hand sanitizer and hand soap are always completely empty, machines are always dirty. Meanwhile the employees just stand at the front desk and talk or looking down at their phone on the desk and have an attitude if you need help or have a question! This day I had to wait ten min for tanning beds to be cleaned and while one employee went back to clean them (as someone other than me was waiting on a bed to be cleaned also) and rather than the other employee at the desk going to help she stood behind the desk and played on her phone. I never see this employee anywhere but that one spot behind the desk on her phone!! This location either needs serious employee training or completely new non lazy employees who actually wAnt to work and do their job!! I attached a photo below with the employee on her phone while customers are standing waiting for the other employee to clean the tanning beds.

As a full time traveler I mostly focus on the showers at PF. Staff was pleasant. Gym looked clean during walk through to the men's locker room. The showers at this location doesn't have any privacy leading into the individual showers but they did have bigger hooks for your gym bag and clothes right outside the curtain. Hot water the whole time. Great water pressure and shower head. No body wash despenser in the showers. Not my first visit at this location and won't be my last while in the Columbus, Ohio area.

This is officially my favorite planet fitness because it's clean. I get a good workout here so there's good energy. The staff is absolutely amazing. The showers are clean. The water is hot, but most importantly I lost something kind of important here once and someone was kind enough to place it where I can find it again and that means it's not only a good planet fitness. We are a good planet fitness community! To whomever may have done something that was karmaically wonderful recently at this location. I thank you so very very much. Bless you!

I am an over the road trucker, and part of the reason I joined planet fitness is how many locations they have across the US. Basically no matter what city I’m in there’s a Planet Fitness for me to go exercise and stay healthy. There is usually plenty of parking for me to park my truck (without a trailer) so I can get a quick workout in then leave. Unfortunately, upon arriving at this location, some property manager informed me that I am not allowed to park there…. Even though I have no trailer and won’t be taking up much space… and won’t even be there that long. There is no valid reason to not let a “truck” park there… without a trailer I am really no larger than a Yukon XL…. So what are they not allowed to park there either?! I am a paying black card member and am very disappointed that I have no way to get to this location without paying for alternate transportation or parking somewhere possibly near by. Hopefully this isn’t a trend across all planet fitness locations… Otherwise I will be canceling my membership. For the time being, I will permanently avoid this particular one.

Well I’ve been coming this location for a while now and I use to love it coming late night after work when there is limited people in there. very convenient it use to be but not any more it’s only open 7-5 which I barely have to time because of my work…that was before it use be open 24/7 now whenever you ask the staff when is it going to be open 24/7 again the answer is always the same we don’t have enough staff. and they been saying that for a while now which is getting annoying. Other locations are open 24/7

I've been to several PF locations and this one by far is the least desirable. It's filthy, the equipment is old (while other locations have upgraded), equipment is broke for weeks, the WIFI doesn't work, soap and paper towel dispensers are broke, sanitizer dispensers have been empty for months, the water fountain is never cleaned. I'm pretty sure that this location is look down by management because of it's demographic. If you have better options than this, i would suggest going elsewhere.

Cool place but if you drive a big rig and help america move after your 11 hour shift you would think you can get a decent work out and some rest. Not in that plaza you won't. Other than that cool place

I work out at grove city one normally, but today am working out here, the female bathroom was nasty. I had to go to the front desk to tell them, but the two girls were just standing there. When I told them they were like r u talking about the toilet u used? I was confused why do u need to ask me that if am telling you the bathroom is nasty. They rather stand there and talk. I going to stop coming here. If I was at the grove city one they would take care of the without question.. I love the grove city one it's clean and respectful..

I want to start this off by saying that the staff has always been amazing. Always with a sense of urgency, and working hard to keep the facility running. The problem with this particular facility though? TOO MANY teens and adults coming in to literally chit-chat like it’s a coffee shop and waste 30+ minutes overtaking the equipment and lifting area. I don’t know what the protocol is for PF, but something has to be enforced so that everyone’s being fair and rotating machines for the next person. The more respectful members can be found in the morning, so if you want to get your money’s worth and have a smooth workout without people wasting time then go between 5am and 11am, any time after that is literal hell. Not a lot of ppl in this location seem to take working out seriously, being on their phones for 10+ minutes occupying equipment, sitting on machines like it’s a sofa, or teenagers playing around the lifting area gatekeeping all the plates. It’s ridiculous. You DONT need to be on an ab extender or a chest press machine for 20 minutes. I guess you get what you pay for, but this exceeds ridiculousness. And to my own Hispanic people, PLEASE take the chatter to the club or abuela’s house, not the gym, ya’ll are doing too much.

Whoever is behind the desk is the first impression. When I travel I often have nothing but issues with employees. Horrible customer service. No idea how to smile l. No idea how to talk let alone take care of the consumer/customer. I will likely not return to this location unless the morning person from today gets fired. Not a good impression. But I get it. You hate your job. Maybe even your life. It's not personal...it's vibrational.

Went here today, because my PF is receiving new equipment and is closed for a couple of days. This PF is maybe a little older but is clean and well organized. The back ab room equipment might be a little close together but isn't a problem. The equipment itself is a newer and in good working shape. Gym size is decent. It's not huge, but good size. Locker room was clean, newer and nice. Staff was...present. That's about all I can say. But overall, this is a good site to visit in an older but "not too bad" location.

I'm not quite sure what the lady's name is that works Monday through Friday but she's been very very patient with me and my girlfriend because we've been late getting on the showers and leaving every time almost and cutting in her evening hours but she's been very respectful very professional and has been there in a nice way a long way I'm not quite sure she's very nice and I like to thank her for all that she did for us.

Rude staff member who publicly embarrasses people over their over due fees. Felt uncomfortable being scolded and being told I can’t work out over a $25 fee. Use to enjoy this gym but I will switch locations and travel to another gym where I don’t feel like a child being yelled at

Great gym for beginners and very helpful staff! Future visitors should keep in mind that this location does require wearing masks upon entering the gym; I see some reviews of people upset about the mask policy but its just for the betterment of other members and the employees! We are still in the middle of a pandemic so I applaud Planet Fitness for being safe compared to other gyms. This location isn't 24/7 due to it being understaffed which is understandable and something that can't be controlled. Hopefully the hours can change in the future. Other than that it is a great gym and I will continue to work out here!

At the Soldano location I needed help putting on my dress and these ladies are always pleasant care and stuffed me into my dress! Thanks ladies!!!

Clean gym and extremely courteous staff. Well worth the money and a steal if you price other gyms. Managers and staff, particularly Shelley, make it a great fitness center.

I'm not a gym person but golly how packed it gets. The hydro massage bed by the tanning booths are a must try especially for those who deal with all sorts of heavy type of artillery. I would have initially give it a five except the showers I know every gym looks different in the rest I was lucky to have been able to use the one stall that had an actual seating in the shower and I wish they had a bit more changing stalls in the back as they do lockers lol put aside from that staff was friendly very informative and that with any and every stupid question I had I kind of wish that they were all between 24 hours but still 4.5 is what I give!🤓

Love this place. This location is in the middle from where I live and my partner, so it’s an easy hop on the highway to this newer location. I love that each place is just a little bit different, arranged freshly so to not be repetitive; even some machines are different or they have amenities like the floor mats, kettle bell free weights, stretch bar placement, etc etc. This one is updated, cleaner, easy to get in and get going with your workouts. Even the machines are updated and newer, really nice to work with.

Too many teenagers and groups of adults that hog up the machines. Either they’re hanging around and talking too much and barely work out or on the phone or both. I’m considering moving to another gym for this reason. Staff is cool, no problem w them though. 👍

Planet fitness is the most clean gym I've been in. The stuff is incredibly nice and sweet. If you are looking for a nice gym with nice equipment and affordable, planet fitness is the place to go.

Very nice and clean. Access to many TV channels. Very big on sanitation and sterilization.

I was traveling through Ohio and stop in Columbus for the night being a member of Planet Fitness in Knoxville. I stopped by the Solando Blvd location. Lindsey was on duty and I have to say she was amazing! This was the cleanest and best ran Planet Fitness I have ever worked out at and Lindsey was wonderful! Thank you Lindsey I hope I pass through again.

Good sized gym but there is a need for more 25 and 45 plates and some more clean up.

*update* Got a response,they made it out to be my fault. I guess vaping is allowed in there too since they disnt mention it at all. Im not gonna email them since i know nothing will be done. They obviously dont care how customers are treated,i guess because they get alot. They dont tell you they dont accept cash until you go in to sign up. Also the front desk employee shouldnt be allowed to vape inside. I would have gone back to sign up with a card if that employee didnt act like i was wasting their time(they were doing nothing)

Always a great place to go. Used to go to the South high Street location on the south end of Columbus but I felt like that one was kind of going under so I switch to start going to this one about a year or two ago. Side note: Cam's a really great guy 👍

A year later I decided to come to this planet fitness as I was in the area. Nothing has change other than the staff. Sadly it’s still dirty, you will still see damage equipment clean stations not stocked or the paper towels not placed correctly at the stations. Restrooms are just the worst.

I have to clean my own tanning bed because I have found my bed dirty more than once

this location needs more mats. this is the 5th time I've had to stretch on the floor. i asked the desk if they could bring out more and she said there aren't any more. I counted 5 mats total for the whole location.

There’s no sign that says they stop tanning at 9:45pm and refuse black card members to use tanning after that time. Nothing on the app or website says this information. There’s also too much drama with staff at this location. Judge free zone doesn’t exist here when staff talks poorly about club members.

I love Shelby, Sue & Britt !! They are so helpful and they always know the tanning bed that I want, they help me workout and help me gain my goals that I want to gain while working out! 💚💚

I travel to so many different PF’s due to work travel. This location is local to my home and it’s by far my favorite. The manager in the AM is always willing to help (found out she’s the asst. manager). AND the newer team is so friendly and helpful. There is a newer gal who works some mornings that I absolutely love (Finally got her name- Destiny). This gym is clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this location!

This is actually his fiance that comes to planet fitness this is the best planet fitness I think their beds are great and their staff is wonderful I don't like is I was charged for an account that I resigned up and they must use a different name or something and I'm being charged because of the staff that used to work there messed up I shouldn't have to pay that but I still go there because I love the place you're not going to get nowhere cheaper than this for a tanning and a great work out!

It's the showers for me every time I have a good workout and just want to take a hot shower but they're always cold every single time I go hoping that they would be hot you figure with a remodeled shower and a nicer newer gym the showers will be hot but not in this case

Planet fitness is a great place to work out with out judgment 100 percent I've had my membership for 3 years now great place always helpful if I have ever had a question. Bathrooms are always clean and smells clean.

I normally go to Hilliard but had time during lunch today. This one is not nearly as clean as Hilliard. Machines are mostly fine, some are rusty and the place needs some TLC. Dirty floors, trash all around. Not filthy but really could use more consistent care. I see people cleaning at the Hilliard location constantly. In the hour I was here, not once did anyone pick up trash or clean anywhere in the building. Update: Went back yesterday. I saw the place being cleaned the whole time I was there. Hopefully, that’s an ongoing thing. It must be the color scheme but I wish it was brighter inside.

Overall very clean and well maintained facility. However, upon scanning my membership card a manager stopped me for wearing these shoes and told me I have to wear something else, citing a potential safety issue. "They're closed-toe, but I think they're more like Crocs than tennis shoes. It would be a problem if you dropped a weight on them." I have been wearing these shoes to Planet Fitness for several years with no issue, but now that this location is "Under new management", the shoe police have deemed them unacceptable. The dress code policy says footwear has to be closed-toed and they can't be sandals. These shoes are closed toed and fully strapped to my feet with velcro. Hardly croc-like. They're ultralight running shoes, so unless we're enforcing steel-toes to enter the facility, I think I'd fare about the same as any other runner if met with an errantly tossed dumbbell. This facility is too conveniently located to go elsewhere, so I'm just going to try to remember to bring different shoes. But c'mon man these are my favorite shoes!!! I've ran in these for years!!! At Planet Fitness!!! My disappointment is immeasurable, and my evening is ruined.

The staff here is amazing, everyone is very friendly and inviting. I would recommend this gym to anyone! Also the new renovations are amazing!
