I came in for my first work out today. First room is dark and empty, there is a check in desk with nobody there. They use assigned stations, I walk into the second room as everyone settles in and look around trying to figure out my station, let me tell you it’s not very clear. Nobody comes to help. I also didn’t bring a mat, how I was supposed to know they don’t provide it? I just decided to leave… the whole vibe wasn’t friendly/welcoming for someone new.

I’m in my 6th year of working out at SOS and I love it today just as much as I did when I started. The physical and mental challenges of pushing myself to my limits is what keeps me coming back. It never becomes “easy.” Part of the mental aspect is pushing through your workout despite 90 degree plus temperatures during the summer. If you can’t handle an hour long class without air conditioning and don’t like people sweating around you then you are probably better off joining Snap Fitness. SOS is a gym, not a country club. SOS is a special place. People are there to make themselves better and that’s it. No one judges others, they are too concerned about themselves and their performance to worry about other people. No one cares what your fitness level is or if you have to modify moves. We all struggle and you will earn respect by just walking through the doors.

SOS is the best way to start your day! There are different types of fitness classes offered and each one is different so you never get bored. Plus, you leave every class dripping in sweat. Clocked is my favorite full body workout! Highly recommend to anyone in Columbus/Grandview area!

If there was a way to give 20 stars I would! SOS is the most incredible community I’ve ever been a part of. It’s not just about fitness to the SOS team, it’s about making sure you’re the best version of yourself when you walk out the doors and back into the world. The workouts are crazy challenging but in an amazing way, and instructors know exactly how to encourage you in the hard moments. If you haven’t been to a class, you’re missing out!

Amazing! The system works. I've been going for a few years and I've never been so fit in my life. The instructors are creative, fun and challenging. The classes are well-rounded and there are lots of options that fit in my schedule. Best gym in Columbus!

System of Strength is like no other. Cardio, strength classes, recovery and more-this gym has it all and the instructors to back it up. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re challenged for an entire 60 minutes. Challenged so hard you think you’ll never come back. Until you’re instantly booking your next class because you realize it’ll be damn hard to find another gym like SOS in Columbus.

Best gym in Columbus! The instructors are so motivating and inspirational and I can’t think of another place I would rather be at 5:30 am. If you are thinking about taking a class, do it, you will be hooked for life! My favorite instructors include Matt, Darcey, Kim, Gretchen and Elle.....run, don’t walk to SOS....you won’t regret and if you do, go back, promise the hard work pays off!!!

I love the system. I was doing a different group fitness class that doesn’t even come close to the classes at SOS. The coaches/staff are awesome! I think anyone can come into SOS as a first timer no matter where you are on your fitness journey!! BUT, I do wish there was one class on Friday evening that wasn’t clocked... ;)

I've never set foot in SOS but I started their digital studio during March of 2020 and haven't looked back. The best online content, levels, and coaches. I'm obsessed and recommend to anyone!

I’ve been going here for 6+ years; The instructors are top notch, always challenging you to push yourself. They mix it up constantly, so I never get bored and am continually sore as they work different muscle groups. The “system” of different classes allows you to truly work every part of your body and get in the best shape. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to be engaged in your workouts and want results!

I have never been able to get into this kind of shape before in my life. After attending SOS for 3-4 months consistently, I can say the system WORKs. There is a little something for everyone, me and my fiancé have joined and both have enjoyed classes like in the MIC and the course together. I break off for high and tight and Ebb and Flow which I feel like help me get those long lean muscles every girl wants. Try this gym, you won’t regret it.

SOS is not only a great workout routine and environment, but a supportive community of trainers and other work out enthusiasts! Whether you need a jumpstart or a way to maintain, I would recommend SOS to anyone looking for a challenge in their workout routine, wanting to see improvements, or just being able to reach their training goals.

SOS changed my life. As a 20-something college graduate I had tried time and time again to lose the dreaded college weight. I tried tons of workout programs, diets, studios, etc. It wasn’t until I found SOS that I found success. After working out with SOS consistently for about 8 months, and participating in their “check yourself” nutrition program I had lost over 25 pounds!!! I have kept the weight off since and I know it’s due to the lifestyle I created through SOS. They’ve helped me push harder in the gym, and eat healthier consistently. Furthermore, all the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Never once did I feel out of place, even when I was just starting out and was significantly out of shape. Although their membership is expensive, in my opinion it’s worth every penny. I would not be where I am today without SOS. Their motto is THE SYSTEM WORKS, and I 100% agree.

I’ve been going to SOS for about 7 months now, a couple of times a week. The diversity of classes as well as instructors means you’re never getting the same workout twice, and never getting bored. Instead, you’re always getting your butt kicked and coming back for more. Classes aren’t just challenging for first timers, but for regulars as well, which builds a culture of people there to work hard, encourage each other and get better, stronger and faster! The classes aren’t for those looking for a casual workout, but if you’re wanting to truly improve your fitness (strength, cardio, flexibility), this is your home.

One way to describe SOS? Absolutely badass. The best part of this community is that everyone shows up at different levels and gets an equally good workout. I have been to many different studio type classes (yoga, orange theory, cycling) and nothing compares to the system. The trainers are professional, motivating and fun. What I have found really impressive is the emphasis on form, recovery and injury consciousness and adaption that comes with each class. This gym always leaves me wanting more. Keep up the good work SOS!!

I can’t rave enough about systems of strength!! I’ve done many different gym memberships and this is by far my favorite. I love the diversity in the classes they offer - cardio, strength, mix of both, yoga, etc. No matter what I am looking for each week, they have it. My favorite class is the high and tight. When I tried navigating gyms on my own, I kept injuring my lower back. I’ve had no injuries since strengthening my core with regular high and tight classes. So appreciative of this!! Will recommend over and over again.
