As far as Planet Fitnesses go it's one of the nicest I've ever seen. Very clean, nice additional options like the 360 area. Plenty of space, well kept and a friendly staff. For $21 a month the Black Card is worth it, you get a girt at any location and access to the black card spa with hydro massage, tanning and more.

Great place to park and workout if you are a TRUCK DRIVER. As long as you are out of the way and not blocking people getting in and out, etc they have always let me park here. In return, I always keep an eye on their property after hours FOR FREE whenever I’m here to make sure nobody messes with it. As I’m sure the other drivers do as well. Been a huge help to me and other drivers trying to stay in shape while doing their jobs out on the road. Many thanks to you all!

UPDATED: one month later and you can still only watch Fox News. The CNN tv conveniently doesn’t work. I ask the front desk associate to turn on the tv and they can’t because the tv does not work. Please get it fixed.

Just use the equipments and leave! Don’t try to go to the bathroom or shower. Everything has out of order signs and showers have mildews all over. I guess you can go to Walmart or Kroger nearby for restroom break.

So this one has plenty of space and decent (tho somewhat older) equipment. The South High St club kinda fits the neighborhood. (See my photos) There was mold in the shower, and no hot water. When I told the desk the hot water in showers wasn't working, he said, "Yeah, it's been an ongoing problem."

This is my first time going to a planet fitness where every sanitation station was full. They were on top of social distancing. The equipment was well maintained. Plus it was incredibly clean! The front desk associate was very friendly. This is also the only location that is still 24hrs.

The place has everything you need to get a good pump and a little more. They have tanning, a massage bed, a unique full body workout experience, and a spa. Just want them to open 24 hours.

I have only ever been to this location. I have the black card for the extras like the hydro massage, tanning, and body enhancement, but at least 1 of the good booths or beds always seems to be out of order. They offer free training, but this location does not have a trainer. For the most part it is a good deal and great place to work out.

This gym is super low key, never busy, clean. I stopped going to planet fitness because I found that the bold yellow and purple was offensive to my senses. However when I gave it a second shot I was pleasantly surprised by how sleek and muted the south high location was. Staff is nice 👍

This is one of the most neglected halls of P.F. how is this possible?! The faucet with drinking water does not work well, only the toilet cubicle works, the shower for the disabled also does not work! General cleanliness is ok, but could be better, friendly staff.

The equipment itself is clean and the staff are great but I shower every time I’m there and the women's locker rooms are always dirty. I’ve left things for an entire day and found them in the exact spot I left them in the stalls. The showers are dirty, I have to let the water run over the floors to make sure the dirt gets rinsed before I get in.

I signed up online, and came in the same day during the evening. A staff member was very helpful, shared with me the app information and how to check in during future visits. He also gave me a duffel bag (yay!) I definitely felt welcome, and would highly recommend. I have a lot to work on, and this gym is not filled with the intimidation I have felt before as I worked on my health.

S. High Street, along with Canal and Whitehall do not have protective screens to ensure staff/club member safety at the front desk. These locations are understaffed; however, the staff who work at S High, Canal and Whitehall are first class. Management for this region could be improved to bring it up to standard with other locations. For example, Clintonville, Westerville, and Pickerington PFs all have screen protectors at their front desk. I have made enquiries about this at the Canal location, and was informed that it is "unnecessary". They also seems to be adequately staffed. I spoke with, and emailed, the regional manager some time ago and was advised that Perspex screens were unnecessary. It seems that it not the case at all locations? This seems odd. November 2022 update: the situation was ignored and never addressed. Very disappointing. Be better.

I go early mornings and it's nice and empty then. Clean facility, and the guys working in the mornings are friendly. Some of the lockers have damaged locks which may be an issue at busier hours which is the only thing holding back a 5 star.

Tons of cardio equipment and really friendly staff. Facility is always clean. Not a ton of free weight equipment but that is not really what they are about.

Dec 2023 review - been going to this location for a year now, it's everything you'd expect and want in a local PF. Staff is great, I appreciate talking to them on the way in/out. There is nothing negative to say about this place. Its PF, the price is right, get in, work out, get on with the day.

Probably won't tan here again but the bathrooms were fairly clean. 🤷‍♀️ staff was friendly but I'm very worried about people's health while they are tanning. The vents in the bed were scary and I was worried about breathing the air coming out of them. I've been in some rough bed from PF but this one by far was the scariest.

I came for first time to this location. Not a good experience, since when we are not allowed to have a book bag next to us while we work out? If so, why in the others locations we did it and it was fine? Now… if we can not have our bag with us at least should be responsible if our belongings get lost in their locker.

When joining any gym it's best to start with your goals and fit a gym around what you want your results to be. Pros : Clean Staff are very friendly & helpful Machines are in good working order Restrooms and clean and working Parking always available Cons: No free standing bench press No free standing squat rack Only 5 smith machines @ my location- sometimes you have to wait. Mostly cardio machines and machines to isolate muscles. No free space to jump rope / do your own exercise. So, if you want to do cardio all day or use machines this is perfect. If you want to lift heavy or train semi seriously this place is not for you. After a long absence for the gym this is perfect for me to build my routines and get to a good healthy baseline, then I can join a gym to lift heavy and train harder for my goals.

I really enjoyed my training experience. I had a great time.

Googles saying you're open when you're not. Please fix your hours so people don't drive there to find out it's still closed, like I have twice this morning!

I've been a planet fitness member since 2016. My payment didn't go through for the first time since then and I got hit with a late fee instantly. It wasn't much but I figured I would ask to have it waived considering I never had issues with payments before. I called in to my home gym (S High Columbus) and spoke with the manager but was greeted with a quick harsh no. I was taken back by her lack of understanding. She went on to ask me "how was it fair to the company to waive the fee?" Fair for a massive publicly traded company? lol It's a clean gym but management is terrible.

This place stoopid i registered for a membership ...was using my membership for 2 weeks ..out of nowhere they said i owe money from a previous membership and i kain't use the equipment or gym til i pay it ...but let me get a membership just to deny me use of the gym after 2 weeks its too stoopid planet fitness iz crooks incorporated

The water is ice cold here, wouldn't recommend taking a shower at this place, staff says they're gonna fix the problem but nothing has been done to fix it, last time I talked to them about it they said that's the best it gets nobody wants to take a freezing cold shower.

Clean workers are nice Wish they were open longer I can barely make it due to my work and family schedule

Poor customer service. Employees standing around talking to friends and other coworkers while one just works. Self-serve kiosk scheduler computer is a joke since you need an employee to help use it. Then you just get people standing in line waiting to be helped when all you need to do is have the multiple employees who aren’t helping gym members actually help gym members. I don’t want to bang on this location too hard because it’s the south end and it’s hard enough to work in this environment but come on man, do better. Update, visited again a week later and same issues. Why is it so hard to simply turn on a massage bead for someone without spending 5 minutes wasting your time to do so?

Dirty tanning beds. While tanning, I felt like I was going to catch something bad from breathing the air blowing on me from the disgusting body ventilation units were on.💯

At this location everybody is friendly and greet you at the door when you come in and as you leave. It has everything you need and is always clean. The only thing I do not like about this planet fitness is all the other planet fitnesses open at 5 AM. Why does this planet fitness open at 6 AM?

I would love to give 5 star's, however I don't think they have earned it. I don't know what the assistant manager there has aigenst me, yesterday I had made a trip to tan, she signed me in, I said I would like 6 minutes to tan, and she asked me about a delay I requested a 7 minute delay, I was also told that the bulbs were new. I get in the room and start getting ready, as I stand there waiting for the bed to turn on it still won't. I'm thinking that I was in the wrong room and almost got dressed to find out what was going on, and then the bed turned on! Not a big deal giving me extra time however it would have been nice to say that I had 10 minutes I would have taken my time getting ready and I would have been aware when it was turning on. I guess she thought that was funny.

I did a secret shop on this location. I was greeted at the door however they never offered me a tour several staff were in the cut in different locations on their phones. I went on ahead conducted the shop anyway even tho I was not given a tour I was told to go ahead and walk around and take the tour myself. Nothing was explained to me I was calm cool and collect the entire time, and then when I left I informed them that I was shopping around for gyms and I would get back to them if I decided to choose the gym. I reported all that happened in the shop and they actually lied to mY boss, told her that me and my wife came in refused to put on a mask signed up at the tablet and then walked out, however I never touched the tablet. I informed my boss that was not the case and they sent it back to planet fitness, the staff proceeded to continue to lie on me and I was not paid for my work because they didn't want to admit to the bad shop. The fact that management lied on me having my description and all is just disgusting. So when I found that I wasn't getting paid for my shop I called and asked to speak with management, the GM got on the phone and was extremely rude I guess upset that I was the shopper that gave them a bad review, I got discredited at my job and marked down as making false shops and lowered my shopper score. The staff here at this location are disgusting rude and straight up liars. I would never recommend anyone to ever come here not even because of the dirty facility it's the nasty rude unprofessional staff for me. That was enough to make me cancel my membership as well I don't want anything to do with planet fitness at all after that experience.

I enjoy going hlto this gym, the staff always says hello and is friendly. You can tell that every so often during the day they are told to clean as well. I never have to wait on a machine which is convenient and one of the reasons I stopped going to the gym altogether.

We love our planet fitness We have had a lot on our plate lately but plan to return soon. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Keep up the good work.
