A decent facility but definitely could be a lot cleaner. The early morning staff is amazing but most of the rules are not enforced so there are lots of trainers that don't work for planet fitness that hog the machines with their workout groups.

I do not need to leave a review. The demand for cleanliness is mandatory. The Restrooms and showers are a huge issue so no, I did not bother to exercise. I appreciate the response from Planet Fitness. I love this place. I travel a lot so I am unable to maintain treatment at PT and Pain Management. Here I can use water therapy and when I can, other equipment. I'm Tough.

Every morning it has turned into a homeless shelter where they take over the men's restroom and lay on the floor in the gym, I will be leaving to attend crunch fitness it's. The desk clerk got into an argument with him when asked to move to the front.

I have tried to cancel a membership that I didn't even authorize but they still haven't canceled. They continue to try to take money from my bank account. I DIDN'T EVEN SIGN UP NOR HAVE I EVER BEEN!!! I had to stop payment at my bank. This is criminal!

My wife and I love it. It’s very convenient, we love to travel, we find a planet fitness wherever we go so we don’t miss a workout! They have awesome new machines and a lot of them. The staff is friendly, but most of all it is very affordable and you will be surprised a lot of insurance companies pay for your gym membership, ours does!😀

Good place to work out, really nice staff and and great prices. The atmosphere is different than other gyms I have been to. In the weight area, it seems more inviting for people with less experience with weights if that makes sense.

Very clean! Lots of equipment to choose from. Work at your own pace or can join a class. Trainers to give advice and show you how to do an exercise, if need help! No one Judging you! Love this place! Update: planet fitness on Manchester Express way is getting completely remodeled!! I can’t wait when it opens!! Thank you for what you do to help others get healthier!💪

I normally go around 9-10 am and it's nice and peaceful, just a little crowd. Lots of equipment, clean environment, never had any issues with other members and the staff is nice.

I'm visiting my daughter and son in law. Love this gym! The remodel is fantastic. I just wish there was a dedicated area to do abs with the mats. Very friendly staff and very clean!

They keep filling my mailbox up with junk even though I explained I would never use them again after what they did during covid. My payment drafted the day they closed the gym and we where all told to leave that they were closing and locking the door so I cancelled my black card membership of 3 years that day. Sure enough they stole another payment 30 days later even though I had cancelled and the gym had been closed and unavailable to use for exactly 30 days. Planet fitness you owe me 2 months of black card membership yet you have the audacity to keep mailing your garbage begging me to rejoin. It's never going to happen. As far as I'm concerned you never reopened and never will.

So i have been a black card member for several years but this weekend i tried to bring both of my sons with me. That was untill the counter person stopped me and said i was only allowed 1 guest. I politely tried to discuss that the gym wasn't busy and ive done this once before.I asked for the manager to possibly fix this issue but she said they left for the day. She was unapologetic and clearly busy on her phone. She smiled and said "have a nice day. As we got in my truck to leave i remembered they had free summer passes for kids. Hmm i thought why didn't she think of this easy solution, her phone perhaps!We went back in and i asked another employee how to sign one of my sons up. He was helpful but unfortunately the internet was slow and the app even slower. I sat there with my kids for 20 min trying to sign them up to no avail . What happened to customer service! This situation i believe should have made way for an exception...

Was a good location until COVID-19, now their hours don't fit my schedule (during the week I work with the military and a hospital and weekends are my main time to workout), much of the front desk staff I have spoken to as well as one manager are rude and unprofessional, and I am currently looking for a new gym (I'm a black card member, but many PF's in AL and GA are becoming this way.) organization. (Although I honestly wish that PF would get their act together again.)

Great customer service! Gym is well kept. Staff and members work together to keep the equipment sanitized and orderly. The staff is very knowledgeable and you can even catch staff exercising of thier work hours.

Very nice gym . Kept clean and well organized by its hard working staff who are also very welcoming. I will note that one of the welness machines was out of order and i was really looking forward to trying it being a black card member and my local PFGym doesnt have that specific machine

At 6:09 a.m tiday. 2ND time this happens . As I was on a treadmill - a female came up to me and said this is my threadmill GET OFFI said to her ok I will be off in 15 minutes, she hit the emergency button and machine stopped. I went to tell the clerk at the front desk and he said, just go to another threadmill. He never even asked if I was ok, nor did he go talk to the lady. This is not a safe place!! And clerks fo not care.

Great place to go and work out. We've been loving this experience since we started this.... 😀

Great gym for beginners and gym vets alike. Staff very friendly. They do a great job of making myself and others I’ve observed feel welcome, almost encouraging energy. Sometimes others don’t clean their machines after use but I’ve seen staff always make sure machines are getting cleaned. Very spacious layout allows comfortability in workout regime, whether around others or privately. Sometimes will have to wait for machines, but preoccupied machines are usually ready to go in a timely manner and with so much equipment already in gym, there are plenty of things to do while waiting. Would highly recommend this gym. Very affordable as well whether that’s via classic or black card membership which offers many other amenities

Friendly environment with a great helpful staff that's always making sure it's a safe and clean place for a daily workout. If you're concerned about how crowded it is, make sure you use the crowd meter in the Planet Fitness app.

Love Planet Fitness, took away one star because I moved and I now live in a very small rural area in Mississippi where there are no Planet Fitness nearby, I had to go back to my Home location where I signed up to sign a cancelation form, now the problem I have with this is that Planet Fitness will allow you to sign up online no questions asked but when you want to cancel, you have two choices: one, go back to your home location or send a piece of snail mail which is really inconvenient in a everything is done electronically. This is a policy that needs to be changed.

First full day in town and best believe, self development is on my list.

I like the variety of exercise machines, and the place is very clean. Everyone is respectful of each other. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Great place to workout!

I love planet fitness! All the employees are so helpful and nice. The only bad thing from with the woodruff Rd location is the size and by the time I get off of work it's packed and hard to find equipment. If you don't like being around a lot of people at once. Or you don't like sitting and waiting for equipment to open up. Then milgen rd is the bestter location for you. The milgen rd location is 3x the size, and offers more equipment, and higher weights to get a better workout. (IF lifting heavy is your thing) But overall planet fitness is amazing. Way better and more affordable than the other gyms in town. I've been to them all...

A great place to work out. The only thing I wish they had would be Zumba classes for my wife Who was used to those at another gym

I've been with planet fitness for over 5 years as a Blackcard member and NEVER have I ever been treated as such. Planet fitness on Manchester expressway just reopened back up. I've came in with my biker shorts and crop on, and before I could get my fitness on; I've been stopped by one of the staff member or assistant manager. As I was approaching one of the leg machine. He told me: "word for word", Yo! Yo! (as I'm looking around). Is He speaking with me? (my name is not Yo). Again: UNPROFESSIONAL. He told me that I couldn't wear my crop top because it was showing my stomach. I was too upset to workout because I've never heard of such a thing. Especially when I've went to several planet fitness locations with THAT SAME EXACT outfit on. It was multiple people wearing crop tops or less. I've felt like I was being JUDGED as well as not being TREATED EQUAL. As a result I was highly upset to the point that I didn't want to workout. So I decided to speak with an upper manager because the way the gentleman handled that situation was NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. It goes deeper than that, but I think I've said enough. That's why I rated that gym very low. It really has the potential of being GREAT but when you have staff members that acts a certain way and feels like they can speak or breakdown someone's character/ self esteem. IT'S NOT COOL! Thank God that I have high self esteem because if I didn't, I promise I would've went to another location or stopped my membership and went elsewhere.

Excellent service and wonderful employees. Mr. Johnson was there to help me to get back on track with my work outs and answered any questions that I needed. 10/10. Love the faculty as well. Judgement free and great machines to use for a good sweat. Thank you Planet Fitness

I travel the country for work and I have experienced very different levels of service, hours of operation and rules at numerous Planet Fitness’s, however, hands down the Planet Fitness’s in the Columbus GA and Phenix City AL area are the absolute worse I have experienced! The majority (not all) of the staff are rude, aloof and condescending. I felt as if I should feel privileged to give them my money instead of the other way around. When expressing my grievances the staff replies always got shifted to that’s what our management and ownership has requested. What about the Planet Fitness Franchise standards? It’s as if the only thing that makes these locations a Planet Fitness is all the logos on the equipment and the sign outside on the building. Very disappointing and if this was the standard everywhere I would choose another fitness chain to do business with.

I am learning to use the different machines to build up my strength. I have seen disabled clients come in and also work out. I love that accommodations can be made for everyone

Nice clean gym to workout in. Someone is always cleaning and keeping things in order Tina the manager is great. She and her staff are friendly. Always a nice greeting coming and going
