The food was amazing! I’ve had Ethiopian food in PA and it was not nearly as good! There were so much flavor in the dishes. The right amount of food! It was amazing! The people are nice and friendly! I highly recommend !

Amazing food, and the server was so friendly and welcoming! I ordered the avocado smoothie and the vegetarian combo (which is also vegan friendly if you’re curious!) and other restaurants could take a note on how hearty and flavorful everything was when they include vegan- and vegetarian-friendly dishes on their menus. Everyone else at my table was pleased with their selections as well. I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the area.

Welcoming staff, and great food. Even as a first timer to Ethiopian food, it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want something different than your American food. Superb yetsom beyaynetu/veggie combo platter! Fresh injera. Take out from here 2x in one week. Their mesir wat is especially delicious! Great spice level.

This was my first visit to Ibex. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Everything is made fresh. It took a little while, but I'm telling you it's worth the wait. My wife had the vegetarian platter and I had the LegaTibs. Both were amazing. I have the picture of the Lega Tibs attached. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu in the coming months. I came back 2 days later and it's still amazing. I've added the menu.

The vegetable combo was delicious, the Doro wot was good ( half of it was spilled by the time it arrived ). I just wish they had plastic containers with lids but the food is really good.

Food was exceptionally good. I had the vegetarian combo and couldn't recommend it enough. If I'm ever back in Columbus, I'd come here again.

Me and my husband were so excited to try this new Ethiopian Restaurant but were sorely disappointed. The menu we were given had all of the pricing blocked out. They said dishes were a couple of dollars more than what was on the menu. We asked for a menu with pricing and was provided one, but then asked for a specific price for the veggie platter and she said $12 or $13???? Which is it??? Mind you NO ONE ELSE was dining except 2 men at the bar. Made our order and the portion size was for a child. Just could not believe it. Also was served beets which wasn’t part of the dish on the menu and the waitress said it should have been…??? WHAT??? The food was so under seasoned that I requested salt, it was awful. Please do better. I support small black owned businesses but meet me half way PLEASE! I would not recommend this restaurant.

Awaze Tibs with beef was amazing!!! If you’ve never had Ethiopian food before, then you need to order it now. You will be absolutely blown away by the flavors. I rank Ethiopian food above even Sushi. I live 3 hours away and now I want to move to Columbus just so I can get this food weekly. Despite the drive I will be back for more.

It's been a few years since we had Ethiopian since the spot in our neighborhood closed down. Well, the craving hit hard tonight so we decided to give Ibex a try based off of their revies. Good service and excellent food, will definitely be coming back. Try the ye fisk agelgil, you'll get a little bit of everything.

The food is pretty good but overall the restaurant is run like a hobby not a real business. They open whenever they want, usually almost an hour later. If you order takeout on the phone and show up 45 minutes to an hour later to pick up your order you still have to wait 20 mins sometimes longer. I mean come guys get it together.

The absolute best Ethiopian food along with an amazing service!! Go see it for your self you will be glad you dod.

The food was AMAZING, I had never had Ethiopian food before and the server asked about that and explained how the platters were served and how they were supposed to be eaten which I think was pretty awesome of her. The food took a while, but once it came, it was so good, hot and fresh we didn’t even care about the wait time anymore.

I had heard about this place and was told the food was delicious but I got frozen spinach with frozen greens as a side dish and the main dish was really nothing short of tough meat and gravy food was terrible service was okay but it's a really nice place and I like the location so I guess it wasn't too bad but if you're looking for some authentic Ethiopian good food this is not the place I'm still searching

Wow My first time and it was take out. I went because I was sick and my friend recommended it. The service was awesome compare to others habasha restaurants. Waitress told me to wait 15 minutes, meaning in habasha, upto 2 hrs but my food was ready in 15 minutes. Other habasha restaurants tell you 15 minutes but sometimes I wait 2 hrs and leave without my order.

Family Dinner Night and We Voted Ethiopian 🎉❣️🎉 Absolutely Delicious Eats and Excellent Customer Service ❣️ Everything was sooo good and reasonably priced too. We'll see you next time we visit Columbus for sure❤️😁❤️

I really wanted to like this place. Husband got violently ill after eating here. Hope that was a fluke. Not a place that random travelers in Cbus pop into regularly I suspect. More night club and bar then restaurant. Lone waitress/bartender was very nice and pleasantly surprised to see non Ethiopian customers. She offered to explain the menu and turn the lights back on for us.

I’m vegan so I got the vegetarian combo and it was fresh and delicious. This is my second time having Ethiopia food my first time was at a different restaurant and it was not the best. But Ibex is the place I will always come to. I got a lot of of food for the price and it was yummy I can’t stress that enough. The place has a great atmosphere, nice people and good food.

The food is amazing. Great customer service. This is the place to go if you like authentic Ethiopian food!!
