You can find good deals here, but if you want to get fruits and vegetables at a fair price; go to the mini stores surrounding the Mercado (they are called "puestos de venta").

Great selection of things , you can almost buy anything here from vegetables , fruits , clothes , shoes ,house hold things , and great food .

All fresh produce. Thursday (better day, not as crowded) and Sundays. Friendly people. Great variety in prices. Bring your biggest bag.

Great selection of produce and friendly people. Make sure you brush up on your spanish, because very few speak English. Its OK to negotiate on price.
