En route to the Mahon Waterfall in County Waterford. Once you past the stone as in the photo, safely stop your vehicle with the handbrake down and you will seem to roll backwards up the hill.

Fantastic place. Went up to the Mahon Falls with the campervan. Couple places you can stay overnight off grid. We stopped right at the top of the hill for the night and played a tune for Jack, whose memorial bench was next to us. Amazing view and quiet night.

A optical illusion but a great crowd puller , drive on and you at Mahon Falls . Great fun

It’s quite a strong magnetic field :) The trick works backwards and, of course, also forward. Take care as the car will get moving fast! Enjoy :)

What a special place! We wild camped in the RV at the top of the mountain. Woke up to loads of sheep and a beautiful waterfall. We didn’t have time to test any of the magical things folks are talking about, but there’s enough magic in this place without all of that! ❤️

It truly is magic , car went backwards when we should be going up 😋 Beautiful spot up in the comeragh mountains.

Two trails I always take the loop as its much better views from the top ... Drive up to the top carpark past the first car park up that extremely steep hill and take your hike from the gate and follow that fence up another steep hill..boots a must poles definitely be beneficial..stunning hike as always .. Second trail is a 20min walk from the first carpark to the bottom of the falls.. Magic Road is on the drive into the mahon falls ...rock on the leftside of the road either just after or before that cattle grid ..

This place will surely mess with you! Whether you think it's an illusion or faeries, it is definitely worth a visit.

Though I was sceptical, it did work. Much faster roll uphill than expected too.

Cool and magical place. Keep going up the road, and the walk is breathtaking.
