An interactive interpretation space allowing you to refresh your knowledge of the First World War. The visit begins with the screening of a film explaining the causes of the war, then continues with the discovery of the progression of the fighting in the region thanks to a relief map with animations. We can then discover the role played by the soldiers of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) etc. Numerous touch screens, documents to read and films to watch. I stayed there for a little less than 1.5 hours, taking my time. Free parking. Adult entry 7 euros. I recommend.

Really helpful staff took us through the excellent museum's activities. Lots of interactive activities and an informative film to start that explained the history of The Great War. The staff went the extra mile when I asked about Winston Churchill's experience around Plugstreet. She found a magazine with an article and had bookmarked it for me. We spent about an hour and a half here.

I loved this little museum! They have two very detailed videos explaining the events between 1914-1918. The first is conventional, but the second one shows on a map what is going on almost in a day-to-day basis. They also have nice objects related to war. I learned that Belgium soldiers played Lotto to pass the time. Worth a vist, for sure!

Very interesting. Surprised how quiet this place was, it deserves a lot more visitors. It had a video with the best explanation of the cause of WW1 I have ever seen.

Small but lovely place where you can read stories of soldiers and war. It's more different from other museums as it's small yet personal. Definitely visit the souvenir shop as well! If you are lucky you will able to see a lot of poppy flowers just like the famous war poem on poppy field.

I don't know why, but somehow I really didn't like this museum. Maybe it's because I like traditional museums better. I can't do much with these screens, but the exterior of this museum was a 5/5. That's why I rate this museum a 4/5

We were very well received by the team (during the presentation of the Sabaton film). It was our first "interpretation center", obviously different from a museum... But the concept makes the visit very informative and emotional. Very nice installations that work perfectly. The store gets to the point with very good book titles.

Great little museum. Not big on displays but amply made up for in visual and computer wizardry explain cause and effects of WW1

Great small museum with some very interesting interactive information. Staff helpful and friendly. Was given a leaflet regarding walks in the local area but unfortunately the wet weather had made some of them very muddy and not suitable for just trainers.

(Translated by Google) The museum is a summary of which countries took part in World War I and the battle around the area. They visualize the position war by means of a map on which to project the troop movement. All their material is in perfect order. Too bad about a wall where the touchscreen no longer worked, but they already had something for it.

The museum is absolutely worth a visit, but the name experience really makes you expect more. The surrounding area is something I would skip unless you are perhaps biking in these parts.

I very rarely give 5-stars but this exhibit is exceptional! Fantastic interactive screens and map boards give you an almost endless choice of material to look at. Only had an hour before closing which was nowhere near enough. The girl on duty was incredibly helpful and also made me aware of a number of different walks in the area (one of which I did). This place is well worth a visit and is seriously under-promoted!
