I gave it 4 stars because one of the dishes was not so great. We ordered grilled salmon, it was really good, very tasty. Also we had gnocchi with porcini and that was a bit dull it felt like it was missing something. The mexican salad was also really good. We did not have a reservation and had to wait about 15-20 minutes to be seated so I would suggest to make a reservation so you are sure you have a table when you arrive.

Friday afternoon We waited like 15min to be seated. It was worth it because: - grilled salmon was absolutely divine! - 17€ - gnocchi with porcini mushrooms (not great, not terrible) - 18€ - Mexican salad - huge portion - 9.50€ All in all it was a great late lunch! Very delicious! I recommed!

We just had the most unpleasant experience at this restaurant, which is a shame because their menu is actually pretty good. Our waitress was VERY rude and acted as if it was an inconvenience that we were there. Super super uncomfortable experience. If you’re American or any non Italian really, steer clear. There are so many better places to go that not only want you there, but have much better food. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

A very cosy place in a side street of downtown Como with a lake view in the outside seating. Contemporary interpretation of classics and international cuisine. Good price for aperitif as well. Strongly recommend the Melone ripieno (stuffed melon salad w/ very sweet, ripened melon, couscous, chicken and greens. A wide selection of deserts. Very well trained staff, quick service, however can be busy so would advise to book in advance. Special thanks to all the staff who served me (Sebastiano, Sara, Alessia and Olga)

Delicious and fresh food! They seems to always be busy and with good reason. So many great options and everything tasted fresh. Some of the best seafood past we had as well as the risotto. The bruschetta with anchovy was a great sharing item. Light staff but worth the wait and great service. It's right off the main center and accessible. Highly recommend. We got lucky with a table for two, but would recommend making a reservation in advance if possible.

The food was delicious. More than 50 different types of salads. I took the paella.

High quality food, definitely recommend. Service is friendly, english no problem. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality of the food you get. Daily off-the-menu dishes are available too. Otherwise pasta's and a VERY large selection of salads. Portions are big, you will not leave hungry. All in all a great experience, definitely worth a visit! -edit- Went back in the evening for a salad. Still great service and great food! :)

Good position close to the lake Good salad with Good Raw materials. Good staff even if an additional smile could be better apprecciated. Price not expensive in line with the competitors. Better to book a table for the dinner. Thank you!

This restaurant was very good. the food was delicious, the staff was so nice and the location in town was terrific. it opens promptly at 7pm but we had no trouble getting a table for the 4 of us. would highly recommend it.

Rude waitress and we got overcharged! We ordered one salad and one coffee which was a total of 12 euros but ended up paying 6 euros more because of their minimum charge which was not made clear when ordering/before ordering. The reason we only ordered one salad was because there were no vegetarian pasta options available which was very unfortunate to see. The grill salad we ordered was also very mediocre. Considering the good reviews we would expect it to be a lot better but it was severely lacking in quality. We felt like a burden the whole time we were there and we weren’t treated with kindness/friendly attitudes which we expected from a restaurant with such high ratings. Would not recommend!

This place was alright. Could've been better. Good location by the water. Girls weren't very attentive to us and food was average. Didn't appreciate the artificial crab meat in the paella, this was the 1st processed thing I had in any food in 15 days in Italy. Veal chop was good but grilled veggies were super bland. Cesar salad was nice and a good portion. Bruschetta flavor was very good but the the bread for it was super soggy. Paid about 60 euro for 2 ppl not getting any drinks just had us leaving a little disappointed. Wasn't bad but was expecting more based on previous reviews.

The worst carbonara I’ve ever had. Seemed like processed cheese, and I’ve never had pasta so yellow in my life. Looks like Kraft dinner & tastes like it too. I was drawn to this place based off the pictures but the food looks nothing like it. I don’t recommend at all. 0/5 I feel sick

Food comes in really huge servings so it’s definitely worth the price. However, that’s the only good thing about this restaurant. Food is really bland and needs some serious seasoning. Waitress is rude when she comes over to give us our plates/food (was sorta throwing the plate in front of you instead of gently putting it down). Fooled by the greats reviews on Google, but you really shouldn’t expect much since this is a tourist spot.

Overall a nice place to eat. Very fast service, large menu. Unfortunately, lasagne was cooked before and then microwaved, which made it kinda dry and with very hard crust at the bottom. Salad and bowl were delicious. Staff is very friendly and nice. Overall we had a good experience.

We had a wonderful night at la vita e Bella, food is tasty, service is spot on, potion is very generous, cured meat is absolutely amazing. Wine selection is great!

Lasagna was tasty but some parts were overburnt and harden. Squid filled with zucchini and carrot puree was very tasty. Beef slices and potatoes were great

Gorgeous creamy risotto, rich lasagne, and pasta. Lush pistachio tiramasu. Huge fresh salads. Extensive menu, lots of salad options. Comfortable, convenient location and lovely service. 5 star

Really really nice location with an innovative and young team. They are definitely worth a visit if you are into nice salads (over 50 variations) and good mediterranean/Italian food. We will definitely come back

Neapolitan pizza, perfect dough, topping and taste. Great version of starters and beers. Good location and very friendly staff.

Got food poisoning from lobster pasta. Food was not up to par with reviews. There are plenty of better options in Como. I regret going here. The lobster was tough and spoiled. Also the charcuterie board seemed like the ingredients were left out for a few days. Server was kind though and took good care of us. Soon after I left, I got extremely sick.

I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting lake como! We were craving a meal like this on our vacation and it was a welcome treat to eat great quality food at great prices. Everything we ate was so fresh and flavourful. The service was excellent, everyone we interacted with was so friendly. We would definitely go back!

Not the classic Italian food but if you are into salads, this is the place to go. The menu can be overwhelming, especially with over 50 salads to choose from. However they are tasty and filling. Enough to charge you for the rest of your day

THE WORST SERVICE! From the moment we entered, the waitress was super aggressive, we asked to sit outdoors, she was annoyed and told us the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. We picked the carbonara pasta to share for 2 people, she said “We can’t do it without bacon, choose any other pasta” in a very rude way as well. At the end, we asked for a cup of ice, she asked, again very rudely, “For what?”, we said we had a Cola and wanted to drink it, she told us no. We asked for a red sauce pasta with chicken, 20-25 minutes later, she brought out 2 plates of a very basic and stale pasta. We said that we ordered only one, she started shouting saying “One pasta for 2 people?” then walked off mumbling insults in Italian. We finished and went to pay at the cashier, we walked out hearing the waitress shouting so loud, further insulting us. Horrible staff, bad food, racist people. -100/10

The food was average, we expected more considering the reviews. The service could be better, the staff could be more nice and welcoming. They act as if they dont want you to sit down! And the plates are overpriced for what they offer from taste and quality.

They have a huge salad menu but the pasta is amazing. We had the mussels, tagliatelle with fresh tomatoes and carbonara. All was amazing. We walked in without a reservation at 7p on Tuesday when they opened and got the only table. They turned away a constant stream of people without reservations. So go early or make a reservation

We went there asking for a table for (2) was told to wait for another staff. Ten minutes later we went inside and asked another staff, they said it’s reservations only. Poor service, would you have let us wait forever then tell us you’re not taking customers? If they tell you to wait, make sure you ask again. Your restaurant can also put up a sign “reservations only tonight” instead of “please wait to be seated”.

Amazing, large salads which paired very well with the pasta. Best tiramisu EVER!! Also a very cute outside seating area with heaters which made it very comfortable when it was cold out.

Had a great experience at this restaurant, both with food and service. We ordered a pasta dish and a salad, both tasted fresh and delicious. We ate at a number of restaurants while visiting the region and they had the nicest staff by far. This makes all the difference, keep it up!

Tasty food, kind service and nice outside part. We took a starter with cured meat and cheese to share, lasagne, cotoletta Milanese and risotto with porcini. Recommended! House wine too acidic but spritz with limoncello was delicious!

I only have two hands!

We came to this restaurant because have a lot of positive opinion 😉 The mussels was great, but a Milanese cotlerte was so dry.. Nice place, but if you want to seat outside, you have to make a reservation! The staff very nicely and the panna cotta was so good! Unfortunately I didn’t have room to eat at all 🥲

Tagiatelle with fresh tomatoes, basilic & Cheese and lasagne - very good quality, fresh and delicious, but too small of salt. Aperitif no-alkohol- with marakuja - AMAZING ❤️ It was a pleasure, to eat in this place :)

This place is amazing. Best bruschetta we have ever had. We went back later the same day for dessert and the tiramisu was excellent as well. Go here, you won't regret it.

Large portions, delicious and friendly. Just around the corner from the main drag. A bit light on staff, but it’s absolutely worth the pick! We had a group of 12 and they had no issue taking care of us with all food coming in the timely manner. Very delicious!

Good food, would recommend! Definitely make a booking as they get very busy. If you dont have a booking for dinner, try getting there just before or right as they open. For the mains, there were not a lot of vegetarian options, but what they did have was very nice. We had a salad with avocado and fruit which was really good and would highly recommend. It was also a great size and good value for money.

Nice restaurant close to the lake, crowded due to the high season, so it might take some time to be seated. prosciutto e mozzarella di bufala were super tasty and fresh, same as octopus. Pasta with lobster was nice , though the lobster itself was overcooked and as a result tough and chewy. Also, it took some time to get the main pasta and octopus.
