Good restaurant, pasta was delicious. In front of Como lake. Wide space so you can eat either inside or outside. Price is very high. Staff is good. I consider it as tourist restaurant, which mean not local italian food. But still worth it to try it.

Really nice place to dine inn by the lake side!! It’s rather a very peaceful place to have lunch/dinner. Their pizzas weren’t the best because I think we’ve had better pizzas in Como! Otherwise good place, happy vibe and friendly staffs

The walk to this place was worth it. The restaurant is located on the lake side with a great view. The place is clean and they pay attention to every detail such as providing a blanket for guests who want to sit on the pathway. Or you have a choice to sit on the inner area with a heater to provide you with comfort. The food and beer were fabulous and tasty. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. Ask and he will provide you with some recommendations for the food and beers. To my surprise the owner was in the restaurant to help with the crowd as well. It was a pleasant dining experience and surely a recommended place when you are in Como.

I had the spaghetti which was probably the best I've ever had. Their portions were also quite large. The 1st course was a full meal in of itself. They also brought out bread and oil. Only two complaints were that I had a nasty sunburn and they wouldn't let us sit inside. And the water was four Euros which was the most expensive I've seen in Italy so far Service charge was a reasonable $3 per person Also the lake side views were amazing! Come around 8pm for a great sunset over the lake

Come here for a view not for pizza for sure. It's a very good Seaview. Lazagnia and pizza we don't like too much, it's 3 from 5. Cocktails too.

I am an executive chef who is a frequent traveler from New York, USA and I stay at the hotel where the restaurant is located. The food is amazing at all their restaurants and all restaurants are extremely clean. Some of my favorites are Octopus Carpaccio, Frutti de Marre, Grigliata di Pesce, Bistecca, pizza is super crisp and light, Misto Mare and the most special is “Whole Branzino cooked in Salt” on a special request which they would make it for me every time. The staff treats me like a family. The Hotel Marco’s and Ristorante Funiculare owners also own another restaurant two doors down called Fontana D’Oro and El Sombrero which is in the city center about 10 minutes fun walk which I enjoy all greatly! Be aware the weekends are extremely busy and I would suggest reserving a table in advance when you book your room at Hotel Marco’s! The main owner Senior Ihsan Gungor is a world class master chef who is behind the scenes. I attended many of his cooking classes where he taught in New York. Lago di Como is one of the heavens on earth and many thanks to GUNGOR family to make me feel like at home away from home! Grazie Mille!!

Very bad food, €51 euros. TOOO expensive for what you get. The risotto had no taste at all. Good view but maybe the pizzas are better.

The view was nice but the food was ok. I got an Hugo Spritz but it was too sweet for my taste. The pizza was overtoasted but the Carbonara was good. Service was a bit distracted

We had a large group, and the restaurant was perfect. When booking, the restaurant was very accommodating to us. The food was delicious. In addition, it has a beautiful view over the lake.

Lovely restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Aptly named as it is close to the entrance to the funicular up to Brunate. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had lovely pasta dishes, carbonara and speck gnocchi. They also had a good range of drinks including classic spritzes.

The Italian restaurant, our family stopped by after coming down on Punicula. The elegant outdoor table was a little hot, but I was able to have a good time with the fan blowing. An employee who looked a little older, but he was so kind and took a group picture, and he was very kind. The food was so delicious, We enjoyed everything.

We googled a restaurant when we arrived in Como and saw this had the highest reviews in the area we where at on the lake side. It did not disappoint. The pizza is the best I have had in Italy and the home made spaghetti sauce is fab. Highly recommend the restaurant. Service great, staff lovely and prices fare. 👌

This place is the perfect restaurant for everyone: from young kids to a romantic couple and even to a big group ( we saw 12 people dining toghether and each had their space ). We got some Pasta with seafood and it was incredible. A lot of squids, mini octopus amazingly cooked, a lot of mussels (again, amazingly cooked and you even get another plate). You get a really good experience. We also had a pizza, and some desert. It was absolutely incredible. We had to come back to lake come in another day just so we could eat the pasta with seafood again! Apart that, they brought water to dogs. Amazing staff and an even more incredible view of the lake, but trust me the food is so good that you forget you’re at lake Como for a few minutes.

Delicious foods with an amazing view + kind stuff. I ordered carbonara and vino rosso della casa. Everything was better i expected. I strongly recommend it.

Unpretentious restaurant, nicely located on the Lake. Pretty nice to sit outside and watch the sunset. The staff was friendly, the pasta was fresh and tasted nice. I would definitely recommend for a chill dinner in Como

Obviously it is located in the touristic area, but I would say they are very good. They have a first floor terrace with a breathtaking lake view. The food is good, the service is professional, quick and yes I would recommend it to all those who want to eat at the terrace with a lake view. Nice place.

Really nice place with a view on Como Lake, it’s possible to stay inside and also outside. Stuff very kind and take care about costumers. Portions are quietly big, taste good. Close to city center but not as crowd as in center. I suggest this place.

Great food, great atmosphere and a great location. We had the Raviolli and the Fruti di Mari plus Pizza.. all were amazing! The staff were very quick to serve and were always helpful. One of our group didnt like what she ordered of the soft drinks and they were very happy to change it free of charge. The service was very professional and quick. I highly recommend it when you visit Como.

We ate at this restaurant after spending the day exploring lake como. We liked this restaurant as it looked onto the lake. The waitresses were really nice and friendly, and accommodated our severe lack of Italian 🤣 I had a cocktail that was delicious, and a ham pizza that was absolutely HUGE. My partner had a beer and an equally huge mushroom & ham pizza. We also had a bottle of water to share. Our meal cost €46.50 The service was very fast and efficient. Unfortunately there were a lot of flies, which is no fault of the restaurant as its still very hot climate and where there is food there will be flies. But something to keep in mind if this bothers you.

Great food and genuine friendly Service. We sat basically on the road but that didn’t disturb us as there are not many cars and the front seat view of the lake made it worthwhile.
