We saw the owner/manager(?) verbally abusing female staff. Incredibly, right there in front of customers! Utterly despicable behaviour. I hope other clients noticing this sort of events will keep giving bad reviews until he learns that is not acceptable.

We had a questionable time. The servers had no idea what we ordered and what we are waiting for. They had no clue who toke the order and what we already got. We ordered pizzas which was mostly just dough, also burger which was undercooked, pomodoro pasta which was alright. So all together the food was edible but not nice at all. If you come where at least you have a good laugh about how ridiculous this place is. But other than that I would definitely go somewhere else.

Late Night Win at El Merendero, Como! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, we rocked up to El Merendero in Como pretty late, but the folks there didn't bat an eye. They welcomed us in and treated us like we were the first customers of the day. Top-notch service, no doubt! Now, the food - oh man, it was a knockout! I had this killer tagliatelle with Bolognese. The pasta was fresh, and that sauce had a heap of flavor - total yum! My girlfriend's Spaghetti Carbonara? Just wow! Creamy, full of crispy pancetta and just so tasty. All in all, El Merendero was a real find. If you're in Como and got the munchies late at night, do yourself a favor and hit up this place. You won't regret it!

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing prices, everything amazing. Super friendly, English good enough to have a good conversation. The food is super diverse, you can find anything you want and need + it’s very delicious at a very good price. Went there with a Groupon ticket. The place is nice and very close to the lake. Pizza 🍕 is good and crema Catalana really delicious. Service is a little bit slow and staff not very organised.. I ordered a Spritz extra menu and they served me Spritz and coke at the same time. We had to wait half an hour for coffee☕️.

I had lunch today and sat down at 3pm. I did not have enough time to finish my lunch as the place was closing for the afternoon. I thought it was not fair as I waited to be served for half an hour. In compensation, the management didn’t charge me which was more than I asked for. They are real Gentlemen and I am grateful. I recommend that restaurant with impeccable manners. The meal was nice and plentiful.

this place has the most variety of foods Perfect for large group of people We didn't like the service but it was such a crowded place and that might be the reason of the bad service. It worth trying once and the food was ok.

Great food, great service, I tried spaghetti with cream and ham and it was delicious by plate 17 as a side dish and Brooklyn bear. I suggest it to everyone. Maybe another bear but plates were great.

When you are in Italy you expect a well made pasta. Carbonara pasta very lumpy, dry and bad taste.

Aperol Spritz is served in loveless glass and not even giving some small tapas which normally comes along with it. Deserved the second point only because of paper straws.

Portions are huge for reasonable prices and food is decent. I had the house salad for €9 that was too big for me to finish and honestly could have fed 2 people, but the grilled chicken was super dry. The burgers are big, juicy and tasty. Service is so-so.

Went on recommendation of a local and seemed to have a very extensive menu, though not traditional. Plenty of outdoor seating, but on a back street with no views. Took a while to find someone to seat us. Waited 15min for someone to take our order and left to find a place where we could get some food.

Their USA bun burgers are fantastic ! more delicious than Mystic burger , Como burger and Roadhouse burgers. The service is efficient and no need to wait for over 10 mins even you didn't book it on the weekends if you are not a big group. They jave many seats and tables to welcome many people who like.their burgers. The french fries is very low quality, and the employees used their hands without gloves to pick the french fries to the dish then serve. Burgers are perfect, 5 stars ! but french fries is terrible and the people who work to compose the burgers totally didn't care about cleaness.

Always performing. Nice value and quality. Dont expect Michelin stars, but more like grandmas kitchen. That sometimes, in some days is way better. Grazie mile!
