I can't really fault this place, there are a couple of minor changes I could suggest (the breakfast could have some muesli) but that's just something to suit my personal taste. The hotel is professional and well run but remains friendly and welcoming, they really are great. It's also very clean, the cleaning staff do an excellent job. The location is good, it's close to the station and is on a very busy road but the despite this the traffic noise didn't bother me. It's also in a great location for exploring Como. The only thing to remember is you might need lots of mosquito repellent, we both got eaten by them! I'd definitely recommend this place and if I'm ever in Como again I'd happily stay there.

This hotel was great, the receptionists were kind and friendly. Very welcoming when I got there and very informative about the hotel and how to get to the rooms. The room was big and spacious, could fit more than 1 bed in there. Once the door is closed it’s quiet, can barely hear any sounds from the hallway which was nice. The location of the actual hotel isn’t 5 starts, only purely because it’s 10 minutes from the centre, which isn’t much and is doable, just can’t give 5 as it’s a bit out of the way from things. I would definitely go again, and hopefully stay longer.

Great value budget hotel that hits above its weight. Rooms are clean, albeit an odd design. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but satisfying to fuel you for a busy day. Location is bit out of the way, but still easily walkable.

Hear this—four times during my brief stay of 48 hours the staff, either cleaning or maintenance came came into the room without knocking or checking occupancy and no warning. That is unacceptable in any hotel, 3 star or not. Staff is friendly but lacks professionalism and communication skills in English, aside from the reception. The room is slightly run down and cramped, surely not worth the 190 we paid per night. The location is good! Personally I wouldn’t recommend this place at all on grounds of privacy and safety.

It was allright. The beds were comfy and the bathroom spacious. If you're considering the breakfast, get it. It's worth every penny. And the hotel is close to the train station. Ideal to travel to Switzerland for a day trip..

Right next to the train station, it's a block or two on the outskirts of town, but makes for a convenient location if you need to catch an early morning train. Lobby, hallways and common areas all appear recently renovated and are tastefully decorated. Room was clean, fresh, with everything in working order and with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a little more dated and the shower was one of the smallest I've ever been in, so that was the weakest point. But great value and I enjoyed my stay!

Hotel is located very close to the train station, and all attractions in Como. I really enjoyed how easy was for me to get around thanks to the convenient location. Bed is super comfortable, and rooms are fitted with air conditioning which helped a lot to get through those hot days/nights. Also reception is most helpful and everyone I met is super nice! Breakfast is efficient with fresh coffee and a small selection of hot food.

Great hotel and fantastic location, you can easily walk to any attractions like the pier to hop on a boat ride on the lake or see Lake Como from above via the funicular. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and shower water is hot. Breakfast is great as well, good selection of food to eat.

The room was perfectly clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay in Como. In addition, the price is very good, especially in comparison with the rest of the hotels in Como.The staff was very friendly, competent and fluid in english. I can really recommend the B&B for non-drivers and highly advice you not to book breakfast. I drive a Mini Cooper and the parking lots in the garage were unacceptably small. It was a real struggle to park the Mini, let alone get out of it. If you are a bigger person or drive a big car, do not bother! Additionally, there is no guarantee for there being a free parking lot as they don't have many.

My friend and i were happy with our stay here. We felt it was good value for money. The room was clean, bed was comfortable (albeit a little squeaky when getting in and out), the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is about a 3-5min walk to the centre of Como. The bathrooms could also do with an update but it was still good. Would stay here again.

Nice little hotel from the B&B chain. My single room was spacious and with a double bed. Modern looking and stylish, but the bathroom could be improved, with visible signs of wear and tear. Water flow and temperature were very good though. No wardrobe and only a small area for cloth hangers, but sufficient for me as a solo traveller for a few days. The marble stairs and landing also show the pass of time. Adequate breakfast restaurant with separate area for groups and communal sitting/working areas. Small outlet with basic selection of food and drinks, but enough to get you out of trouble. The location is pretty good, less than 10 mins walking distance to pedestrianized town centre. However, it is the staff that made the difference: they were superb!

Good Quality/Price! Close to the center, the double room was nice and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was veeery good although the coffee from the machine was not :( Unfortunately they do not have a room to store luggage before/after check in/out, so they leave the guest’s luggage in the hall and warn you to not leave important stuff inside… not good at all. But it is a good place to stay and we liked it overall 🙂

The only thing I didn't like it was that rooms aren't soundproof so you could hear everything from other guests. Despite that, the service was pretty good. Staff nice and even they help me with a special request. You could find a lot variety of products during breakfast. And staff were always checking if they needed to add more food. The location was great. Really close to the train station and to the center.

Great location, only ~6 minutes walk from the train station and ~10 mins to the ferry terminal/Lake. Room was very clean and provided all the amenities. Breakfast was great as well and has quite a decent spread. Hotel also provides luggage storage before & after check in/check out. Will definitely stay again! Value for money!!!

Nice hotel with very good price quality ratio. Free underground parking is a plus, although in high season may be difficult to find a free spot. Very welcoming personnel and great location with Como downtown within walking distance.

My stay at Como Central was excellent, the staff were fantastic & were very helpful especially as I required some basic medical attention & was assisted with finding a doctor who I was able to go see & reception called me taxi. I provided some feedback were I responded to an email asking me for suggestions & I suggested that it would be nice to have a kettle in my room, the following morning reception called in request to my feedback & offered me a kettle, very friendly staff, well managed & clean hotel, very close walking distance to station & hotel has a lift.I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all staff.

The hotel is very close to Como station, it's about less than 10 min walk. I have arrived at the hotel around 10:30am, completed self check-in and card key was provided by the check-in machine, it was very efficient. The room is nice for single occupancy, clean and neat.i have a very pleasant at this hotel. The only improvement I hope from the hotel is to provide a hot water dispenser so that room guest can make tea or warm water if needed.

Great cheap please to stay. Small rooms that are clean and tidy, perfect place to put your head down of an evening. Air conditioning and comfy beds. Staff were great and answered any questions we had. Would happily stay here again

Great location and staff, very lovely people and super helpful. Close to every thing in como, stations, restaurants and nightlife. The room is small but has lots of mirrors and windows so you don't really notice. Enjoyed my time, and the breakfast! 💖

We arrived after a slightly stressful morning, and were greeted by a lovely women who checked us in, showed us a map of the area and made personal recommendations of places we might like to see, where to eat or where to avoid and place we can swim in the lake. It was so nice and all of these recommendations were greatly appreciated. Our room was a perfect size, with a/c, towels and everything you would need. The bed was so comfortable and the wonderful housekeeping staff kept our room looking amazing. Can't thank them all enough, had a wonderful stay. The central location was perfect, right near the station and 5 minutes from a lovely market. Would come back in a heartbeat.

I had a lovely stay at the B&B Hotel Como City Centre. The room was very comfy and I managed to get hours of sleep after many hours flying. Despite being located at the centre of Como, the surroundings of the hotel aren't noisy at all, which helps a great deal if you're looking for a relaxing holiday. The hotel staff is lovely and very helping. I needed to print a document and they did it for me in the blink of an eye. I highly recommend having breakfast there because the food is A-MA-ZING! Don't forget to drink the cappuccino – it's the best you'll have in your life, trust me.

We stayed here during our trip to Lake Como. Very conveniently located close to Train station, walking distance to several restaurants, Lake Como and cathedral. Room was spacious, modern and Clean. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Front desk person was very welcoming. Overall service was very good.

Staff was nice, breakfast was also alright. Location is good and close to the city center. Rooms are way to noisy. We could hear everything from the bathroom above us which makes sleeping very difficult. Also we gave our bags to the reception, because we were gonna leave later and asked them to take care of our stuff. The just left it in the open and when we came back my brand new headphones were stolen. Also my wifes bag had been opened. Everything apparently in front of the reception. This should never happen. Therefore the maximum i can give is 2 stars.

All in all, we were happy with our stay. Very nice staff. Very good parking in the basement. Price is one possible improvement. Breakfast room is another improvement. I think you really need to do something about that.

Great location, really friendly staff and good value for money. Only slight disappointment is that the room walls are quite thin, so you can hear quite a lot through them. Staff were great, really friendly, very helpful.

Showers were not fitted properly and all water was going out of the tub. Fitters came to install hairdryer but did not clean the floor which kept sticking to our feet. Rooms were such that there was alot of noise from rooms above and adjacent. Covers and linens were fine but pillows were dirty from inside. Plus whenever walked from outside, we could clearly hear footsteps. Not a good or comfortable stay and I would not recommend staying here.

Very nice and clean hotel. I would stay here again as it was safe and cozy and not too far from the action in Como. The only cons were that we had trouble with the AC that caused for a very hot night and it was a bit of a walk from the train station with bags. The dining hall was lacking as well, but that might have been just due to covid. But the people there were nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Had a bad experience at this hotel. I booked the room with a double bed months in advance. However when I arrived, I was told that due to “over booking” I would have to stay the night in a different room with 2 twin beds. To make things worse the room they gave us was terrible. The shower had no curtain or door/glass making it impossible to shower comfortably. Additionally there was a leak right outside the room and water all over the floor. This is really unfortunate because the second room (the one I originally booked) was better. The hotel offered free breakfast to compensate, but the quality of the breakfast didn’t make up for the terrible room/experience they gave us on the first night. Will definitely not be choosing B&B hotels again. I did not get what I paid for.

Place looked nice & clean & was well located. But the price given online & by reception was different by 25€ per night! Which was wierd, but anyhow, decided to try booking online, while waiting at the lobby, but it got declined, three times. honestly looked pretty on purpose, in order to get us to agree on the higher price by reception, which we eventually did. Got the room & it was twin bed instead of a double, for a couple! Got down, said it, they say they don’t have any double room free anymore 😑 got the room back & spend a lot of time on finding another place, found a way better option after all though

Extremely friendly staff! Luisa was very kind and helpful as she helped us plan a our itenary. She even took the time to ask her friends about attractions we were interested in near Como. In addition, the rooms were clean and parking was free. We're definitely staying here again when we come to beautiful Como.

Staff is very kind and helpful and accommodation was great. The rooms were clean and perfectly convenient for our stay. We were also helped a lot by one staff member called Luisa that was so professional and friendly in recommending places to see and restaurants for our day trips around Como. Location is great. 5 minutes from the Como S. G. train station, 10 minutes from the lake and ferry ticket office. The room was always clean, with fresh towels every day. The bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the room at a comfortable/cool temperature. My only real complaint was that the shower was TINY (only big enough to turn around). But for the location and the price, it’s tough to beat. A great place to stay in Como if you’re looking to save money on your hotel but still want to be close to everything.

So pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Given the value I was expecting some things to be a little off, but it was great. Very comfy, clean and practical rooms for an uncomplicated stay. Friendly staff who were very helpful with our requests. A great choice for a low cost stay in Como

This is a good hotel in easy walking distance to both Como San Giovanni railway station and Como City Centre. Room was compact but very clean, bed comfy if not a little too soft! From our room could hear some other hotel noise, such as guests coming in and out of room and walking in room above. It was very clean and had a bonus if a small fridge in the room. I would recommend and would stay again if I was in Como again.

La cama de hotel mas comoda y agradable que he probado, hemos estado super comoda. The most confortable bed I have ever try in a hotel. Next to the city center, a few steps from the beautiful bars and the lake. I would repeat. Very good price too.

Stayed here for 2 nights, for the price the room is great, comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Bathroom is fine, the shower is quite small so bear this in mind. Breakfast was great, lots of sweet options like pastries, tarts etc. Location was 5 minutes or less from the train station so very convenient and 5-10 mins from the ticket place to get the ferry to Bellagio. Overall the hotel was perfect for what we wanted and great value for the price. Would recommend this place and happily stay here again.

It's fine, but a little weird. The room was clean, but some things were strange. Between the curtain and the window was a gap of about 25 cm and some electrical wire's where loose at the tv. We stayed there 2 nights, and after the first night the housekeeping came, and we lost 1 of our 4 pistachio cookie's. I'm sure we had 4 left, so someone took it with them. After this all... I would say it's fine. Keep in mind, that you don't leave your stuff exposed and don't pay over 70,- a night I think.

I stayed here for 20 days during my move from Chicago to Como. The staff goes above and beyond to help you with every need and is beyong accomodating and friendly. They bring you new towels every day and make your bed everyday as well. The breakfast is excellent and there are many options to choose from. The lobby has an awesome convenient store with anything you could need and more. The rooms were warm and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. I stayed in room 404 facing the back of the property. This facility is also in a fantastic location near everything including the train station. Also a very nice lobby witk work table as well as comfortable couches.

Excellent hotel for the price. Only 7 minutes walk from the San Giovanni train station. And 15 minutes walk to Como center. Very clean, the facilities, the room. Kind staff. Good bed. Highly recommend!

Great location, located 10 min walk from the rail station. The rooms are fine to spend overnight sleep. There is an air conditioner ! The facilities of the bathroom are basic, not to expect more then that. The breakfast is poor without vegetables or fruits.

Hotel was fine for what I required. Room is very basic, small sized room with a small double bed. As a solo traveller it was absolutely fine for what I needed. Location is great for exploring como. If you have a car there is a free underground parking for guests which I really liked. Overall perfect stay for a budget traveller who doesn't need much from the hotel.
