had

pleasure
of
visiting
the
Color
of
Compton
Museum,
a
vibrant
and
essential
addition
to
the
city's
cultural
landscape,
and
I
must
say,
it
exceeded
all
my
expectations.
Living
in
Northern
VA
area,
I
had
heard
about
this
unique
space
through
the
grapevine
and
decided
to
make
the
trip
specifically
to
see
it.
It
was
a
decision
I
will
never
regret.
The
city
of
Compton
has
long
needed
a
place
like
this—a
space
that
celebrates
art,
uplifts
local
artists,
and
fosters
a
sense
of
community
and
pride.
The
Color
of
Compton
Museum
does

Walking
through
the
museum,
I
was

by
the
incredible

artwork
on

from
talented
local

brilliantly

their

and

The
museum
is
owned
by
a
wonderful
couple
whose
passion
for
art
and
dedication
to
their
community
shines
brightly.
They
were
incredibly
warm,
friendly,
and
knowledgeable,
taking
the
time
to
share
stories
behind
the
artwork
and
their
journey
in
creating
the
museum.
Their
love
for
what
they
do
is
contagious,
and
it's
clear
that
they
have
poured
their
hearts
and
souls
into
creating
a
space
that
is
as
inviting
as
it
is
inspiring.
Whether
you're
a
local
resident
or
visiting
from
out
of
town,
the
Color

Museum
is
