So perplexed. Yes this place is lovely. I wish the wait staff were more attentive though. You will not be tended to immediately upon arrival, instead you must search for a waiter. They will not periodically check on you to see if all is well. They had a price increase , with that price increase should have been an increase in training. So the service is similar to all places in conakry.. lackluster.

Palm Camayenne is a 10/10 in terms of service, ambience, staff, facilities, food, relaxation.. you name it. The staff were absolutely jovial, helpful and respectful. The serenity of the hotel is top notch. There was abundant varieties of food and you can easily make your choices in line with your taste. The sit out by the seaside was spiffing. The environment came alive at night, with the inflow of the locals dressed in their local attires. The rooms were clean and the facilities were in excellent shape. The rooms were cleaned daily before 10am and you have a constant supply of toiletries and beverages. I would readily recommend Palm Camayenne to anyone visiting Conakry.

Palm is an historic ruin. The place is nice, that's one star. -Food is horrible (even pasta..) and the chef doesn't know how to cook fish. Expect to wait 40 minutes for a salad. - they asked us to relocate to another room without warning - the laundry was done 2 times they lost 2 items, which we got back after complaining a lot. - The staff is very nice, that's another star. But they seem to lack common sense for simple things. -music almost every night is loud Overall Palm is a 5star when it comes to the building and the price but 2 stars when it comes to service. Go there to enjoy the view, don't book for the night.

My stay was disappointing to say the least. Here are a few things that happened to us during our stay -Had difficulty to check-in -Given rooms that were not cleaned -loud music till midnight very audible from the rooms -water pressure was very low at times Management assured me it was just a coincidence...

The music is extremely loud at night, no soundproofing in the rooms at all so it's impossible to sleep here. This was supposed to be a hotel, not a nightclub. Go anywhere else, the building looks very nice but paying a hotel to not be able to sleep is ridiculous.

The room was spacious with a great view. It is important to note that this hotel has a beach as well. Great location for a work conference or a quick vacation. The food could be much better and I recommend it is improved and upgraded - I couldn't get a steak but rather was given a beef kebab. Aside that, I had a pleasant time at Palm Camayenne.

Absolutely useless gym, broken treadmills and now weights machines. Rooms need to be Deep cleaned.

I would prefer to give them less than a one star. Absolutely worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Even when they make a mistake they don't care to correct it. For a hotel with a motto of "If better is possible, good is not good enough." Less than average appears to be good enough.

Nice hotel but dont eat there. I was warned but the hotel was so nice I didnt believe it. So im here to warn you too. Im african been in africa so its not a matter of adapting to the climat. Its a matter of their food isnt safe. Food poisoning ruined the rest of my trip.

This place is luxury. The food is good. You feel a relief once you get in the hotel from the hectic Conakry traffic.

Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The restaurant has a pretty good selection for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is more than divers enough. The elevators are in need of an upgrade though.

The Team is nice and pro. The rooms have space and confort. Everything is working and the orders at the restaurant really fast if You add the sunshine in December.......

Best place I have stayed in Guinea! Staff is very helpfull and professional. Very clean and the rooms are great. Nice sea view and the pool area is a must visit. Just a pity the Italian restaurant is closed or so I have been informed

Clean and spacious, the food is very good with enough variety (not enough local foods tough), the staff is really nice, friendly and helpful! Very nice stay!
