It's a pretty campanile but the bells have been replaced by loudspeakers so it's not a true campanil-- students probably unaware of this. Library typical - no books. Student services good and cheap. Campus fairly well tended as university campuses go.

Universidad de Conception was my home for one week as a guest lecturer. Coming in October - Springtime - was a wonderful treat. The campus was gorgeous with Rhododendrons everywhere.

This is the university campus that is open for public, you can visit it at any time and you could have a picnic in there, plus the place is very peaceful to rest or have a family time

A Concepción landmark with an interesting story behind it, in the beautiful university campus. Minus one star for the unpleasant Communist mural.
