This is a great restaurant if you have just gotten off the train and your hungry. This restaurant serves standard Italian fare but to be honest, I have eaten better Italian elsewhere, not that this is bad at all. I had the Calzone. I think if I came here again, I would have a seafood dish. The location is close to the water and so the view is idyllically Venician.

It’s the first place you see once you are out of the train station.

I had a fantastic experience with L’Altra Venezia! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and they made exploring Venice fun and informative. They took me to spots I never would have found on my own and shared fascinating stories about the city. It felt like a personal adventure, not just a typical tour. I highly recommend L’Altra Venezia if you want to see a different side of Venice!

HO avuto modo piu' volte di usufruire delle iniziative de "l'altra Venezia " di Walter Fano. E' stata sempre un 'esperienza indimenticabile. Walter ti accompagna nei percorsi veneziani ,illustrando questa citta' come solo chi la ama veramente puo' fare. La sua competenza e la sua professionalita' accompagnate da un buona dose di " cuore" hanno reso il tempo passato con Walter una inesauribile fonte di informazioni,aneddoti e cultura che mi ha arricchito veramente .

Thanks to Walter one can discover parts of Venice "less" touristic who, hoping to remain such, have a special charm: in addition to the undeniable beauty of the island these parts of the city are immersed in a "true" life which normally is difficult to capture passing "only" in piazza San Marco. I highly recommend one of the routes or other special initiatives of Walter!
