Title: A Shopper's and Foodie's Haven: Veranda Shopping Center in Concord Nestled in the bustling city of Concord, the Veranda Shopping Center is a vibrant destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. My recent visit to this shopping paradise was nothing short of fabulous, with its diverse array of stores and restaurants catering to every preference and need. One of the highlights of the center is the presence of a Barnes & Noble bookstore, which serves as a peaceful retreat for book lovers. The store’s extensive selection of books and comfortable reading areas provided a welcome break from the excitement of shopping. Dining at the Veranda is a treat, with establishments like Super Duper Restaurant offering a delightful menu that's sure to satisfy any appetite. The food here is fresh, flavorful, and crafted from quality ingredients, providing a perfect pit stop for a delicious meal in the midst of a shopping spree. A unique feature that adds to the allure of the Veranda Shopping Center is the 2nd floor area that houses an intriguing Escape Room business called Red Door Escape Room. It's an excellent spot for those looking for a bit of adventure and problem-solving fun with friends or family. The evening view from this upper level is a sight to behold, with the dusky skies painting a beautiful backdrop over the center's charming architecture and bustling activity below. It's a perfect moment to take a break and immerse oneself in the vibrant atmosphere that the Veranda offers. In conclusion, Veranda

Nice place. Lots of branded shops and places to dine in including desserts and cafe. There’s City Sports and Peet’s coffee. Play area for the kids, a nice fountain area for picture taking and a cinema too. Parking is difficult just a heads up so just be patient. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised this was in Concord and very nice.

It is not often one could go on and on about a shopping center and mall. However, the Veranda was a place where you can just be. There are all the name brands you might expect, but it is the atmosphere that envelopes you upon your arrival. Restaurants offer all kinds of different cuisines and IMAX theatre could be combined for a great date night.

Family-friendly plaza. It has an area for kids to play and adults to sit around. Plenty of restaurants and snack/dessert shops to choose from. I've only been here on the weekends, but it's busy every time. Parking is a challenge. You may need to drive around a few times to get a spot.

Generally a nice place once u find a parking spot, don't ever come around 6pm, dinner time, u will be hunting for a parking spot for ever and ever. Try a little earlier if you can, this place gets so busy. Most of restaurants are great, nice fountain, nice play area for the kids. Just remember, bad bad parking:)

the Veranda was packed when we got there. We ate at shabuya, had popsicles at the pop bar. I also know a ramen spot here named Silverlake Ramen, they have karaage and gyoza which I loved, although they do have limited tables

It’s huge store with all different kinds of clothes for kids and youth and adults. For sports, party, swimming suits, shorts, Shoes, sunglasses. Make sure finish your purchase before they closing time. At closing time, they are going to stop you and keep telling you to go to cashier. One more things, make sure DO NOT pick anything in the line. They put many things in the way to the cashier. Like, chocolate, candy, brush, little toys, with super high prices. Make sure look kids to DO NOT take anything. They sell a little fruit gummy worth for $0.20 they sell it $2.00 and so on.

Excellent and beautiful mall. Parking was a bit tough, but its expected considering the shops, restaurants and movie complex they have. It's so beautiful. Totally enjoyed with kids. Nothing changed. Still more beautiful.

Great shop center with a lot cool eateries and entertainment. Very busy on the weekends so finding parking is always an adventure in itself. But it’s worth it. A decent amount of security is always visible so safety wise it’s about as good as it gets in the Bay Area but definitely don’t leave anything in plain sight in your car. The shopping center is clean and very well maintained.

I love this place. This a great place to hang out with family or friends. What I enjoyed most was the lawn and the scene of everything. Nice place to hang out on the weekend.

So the sound system and screen on the IMax is great. The chairs leave me unimpressed! They tilt back maybe 5 inches so it's just enough to irritate. What really made my husband and I decide we will probably go elsewhere in the future is the butter for the popcorn is nasty. This is our 2nd time this month and both times the butter tasted funny. Lastly the middle stall in the ladies room won't lock! Not so good

Lots to do, ping pong tables near the play structure. Many restaurants to choose from for birthdays or just watching the big game on Big TV's. Parking is a chore so come prepared for that. Christmas time: vendors and Santa

The veranda is fine... if the sun is down. This shopping center was clearly designed by a person who has never lived in an arid, hot climate. The "landscaping" is all astroturf. Trees are sparse, and what is there has zero foliage. The parking was clearly designed solely to let everyone see the big names on the buildings, not actually *get into* those buildings, which if you are here during a summer day is *all you want to do*. If you're disabled? Hah! Good luck. There are maybe a dozen spots for disabled access, which means they're always full. So now you're navigating the maze of absolute insanity that is parking in this shopping center. The lack of a parking structure means you have a quarter mile of blacktop at street level in every direction which guess what? Makes it about 5 degrees hotter than it needs to be. Rip the core out, put a parking structure on the centerline 3 stories tall, run a perimeter road around it, and place trees more agressively in the walkin spaces? This could have been lovely. Hell, drop a tree into the big astroturf play area that no one uses because astroturf skins knees. This place is an illusion of good design. If you want a good experience, go to todos santos.

I love going to The Veranda, it is an outdoors shopping center that has something for everyone young, old, and in between . A great fountain, a tree structure for kids to climb on, ice skating rink in the winter, and ping pong tables. Great restaurants like Doppio Zero, our personal favorite the best burrata and prosciutto pizza, great arugula, pear, feta and pepita salad, mmmmm, always great service as well. Many other great restaurants, boba, ice cream bars, cookies etc. A number of great stores, World Market, Sephora, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble and so on.

I love this outdoor mall. Lots of nice restaurants (Yard House is my favorite) and good stores as well. Very clean and modern, with nice retail stores.

First time here! Absolutely loved it! Lots of eateries, places to shop, desserts! The shopping center itself is beautiful, the landscaping..just the way it was designed is worthy of 5 stars! Lots of outdoor seating. I live about 45 min away and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Had a fun time at the Veranda in Concord!

Great shopping mall, lots of parking and very clean and well-kept. Love that they have next level burger here

Good place to shop when you can get to. Meaning, the traffic in the parking can be a real problem at busy times. Saturday afternoon seem to be particularly bad or when there's commute hour traffic in play. Other than that, the selection of stores is actually pretty good and varied -- fast food, coffee, department store, HomeGoods, etc.

What a beautiful outdoor dining experience! I unexpectedly found this hangout complete with a dancing water feature, greenery, play yard, ESCAPE ROOM, and so many restaurants that I feel I must live there now. Such a gem.

Reasonable price for lunch, after pandemic the quality little down. Seafood was not as fresh as it should be. Not many chouce of vegetables. Serviced great.

Tons of things to do! Great restaurants, but really pricey. Expect no less that $60 for dinner for two at any of the restaurants. Theatre is great and stuff for kids to do outside.

I love this place. It’s so family oriented and dog friendly. They have so many activities for children, and great places to eat and shop. I usually come here on a weekday much more easier to find parking than on a weekend.

A good variety of shops and restaurants here, although the pricing from a couple of the latter can be jaw-dropping. Cost Plus, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy and Whole Foods are my principal draws...and Peet's in the autumn/winter months when coffee is a staple once more. Adequate parking, although it can fill quickly on weekends and especially so during the Christmas shopping period.

Great food. Puestes. Treated is like royalty. Go to place for me and my daughter. Veggie taco. Potato taquito unreal. I had my first enchiladas. Wanted to lick the plate. Amazing shopping after.

Nice looking mall from outside. Often issue with parking. Most of the restaurants we tried are not that good. Even Whole Foods is kind of not the same than other Whole Foods in the area. Not sure if I would visit this mall again

Love this place. Has changed your way of shopping. It needs clothing, shoes, specialty stores.

Parking can be horrendous here, but the draw is that there's some interesting places to visit, decent (expensive) food, and nice landscaping make for nice walks. I wish there were more shaded parking spots, maybe a solar farm, and better pedestrian walkways but whattayagonnadl do?

Was there to eat at Shabuya restaurant. This shopping center has a lot of shops and restaurants that I would like to try out. There's also a movie theater. Huge parking lot and a very clean and modern look to the buildings.
