Black Friday sales were amazing!! I went in to buy one thing and ended up with an entire cart filled with stuff. The customer service was astounding as was the checkout service. It was very efficiently organized and although the line was long (hello Black Friday) it went smoothly. I don’t shop very much at Academy but I am certainly going to more often now! Quite the Black Friday haul!!

Overcrowded with merchandise, but it's right before Christmas. Couldn't find an employee for help locating an item. I finally asked a cashier, who just gestured broadly to the women's dept and said "Over there somewhere. It's not my dept. " I finally asked the Greeter at the front door and she used her radio to get someone to help me. Be nice if the website would give you an idea what dept. items are in.

Could not find anyone on the sales floor to help find ad items. Looked for 10 minutes and no one. Looked for the ad items on every aisle and never found it. Plenty of similar items available and prominently displayed but no at very high prices. I bought one and am satisfied, but felt frustrated with my visit.

Great selection of sporting equipment and active apparel. Always have great sales and clearance. I enjoy coming here to see what all they have. Staff are nice and helpful too.

Came into purchase shoes for my dad who is at the hospital with a foot wound and he needs shoes that he can slide into but they won't hang on the back of his foot or his bandages. The staff were very helpful and finding me matching pairs of shoes and drastically different sizes to accommodate his bandaged foot. I'm sorry that I did not get the names of the guys in the shoe department who helped me but I do hope that you will remember that I bought eight pairs of shoes and varying sizes but only two styles!

Great fishing selection here at this store. I love stopping in these different locations since they seem to all carry different lures depending on where you are in the state.

This should be illegal. I walked passed the clothing section and saw “hot deal 25% off” and went over to see, I saw the $60 tag and thought well that’s not really a sale.. I went back and grabbed a pair because I needed some new ones. I get home and notice the $60 sticker is increased from the suggested retail sticker. The fact you people would up a price on something and put it on a sale rack to fool people is disgusting. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with academy and will not spend another penny after seeing this. Just disrespectful.

The ammo selection here is great and decently priced as well. I also buy all of my collared work shirts here since they carry a lot of the good brands of fishing shirts.
