Best street tacos Conroe has to offer. I don't think I've ever tried anything else from there & don't feel the need to. Each taco has two tortillas & enough meat to split between the two. The red salsa is good for flavor & the green one is good if you want to burn your tongue off. Highly recommend!

My husband did like the tacos because they are bigger than other taco places and he brought me some so I can try them, but for me I disliked them, just because the corn tortillas were soggy like if they just dip it in grease and heat them in the microwave. The taco did have a good amount of fajita but the pastor tacos, the meat cut was too big and bit dry. I've had better tacos with homemade corn tortillas.

Have definitely trie better. The place is very sketchy but tacos are good 👍 wish they had more sanitary practices… looks under. But… tacos are good.

I have been coming to this place for multiple of years. I can honestly say nothing has changed this is the best authentic Mexican food that you are going to get in this area and honestly I've been out of this area too and I think this place is the best still!!! The customer service is amazing!! The food is hot and amazing they give you way more than what you pay for too!! This place is definitely a jewel you would have to come try for yourself, but I promise you will not regret it!!!

Really good tacos in town!! Love this place. I have been coming here since i was 7! Place has not changed which is the best part! Order your tacos with the tortilla a little crispy and it will change your life. I will always come back here!

Awesome food, awesome price, awesome flavor and nice employees. This is the absolute best taco place in Conroe I've been too so far. They have so basic options but the end result is incredible. They prepare it super fast and the salsa and lime are the cherry's on top. Will definitely be stopping by again. Thank you for the fantastic experience and tacos.

Let me tell you something! This place has been a long standing restaurant in the conroe area for as long as I can remember. Their food is always been fantastic when I've gone. I have never had a single bad experience with their staff. While the building is OLD, the keep the floors and dining areas very clean. BEWARE THEIR SAUCES THOUGH!!! They can be incredibly potent! Anyways, if you have NEVER eaten here I would suggest at the very least giving them an opportunity to impress you. It's 100% worth it! 😁👍

Tried this for the first time today. I was impressed with the food. It is a nice little restaurant full of people, a little chaotic but it somehow works. A true taqueria where you can order Tacos that's it. Fajita barbacoa, pastor, chicharon pollo, and several others. I tried 3 and the fajita was the winner. The barbacoa was next and finally the chicharon. I wasn't disappointed with any of them though. They have fresh sauteed onions that you can help yourself to as well as a small cart with salsa,cilantro pico, jalapenos, and limes. To drink the have Mexican coke, a variety of jaritos, regular coke diet coke and Gatorade. This place was closed for a while but it's back. today is October 28th 2023.

Good tacos, place looks nice and bright after remodel. But they need to slow down and be sure everything is in the bags. Got home and was missing tacos. They didn't have a phone, so I couldn't call. I msg on fb and no one ever responded. Been going for years and never had this happen. But I will not quit la palma!

The tacos are still good , service not so much . When asked about more onions the response was “later”.

Place is disgustingly dirty. If anyone has actually been to Mexico, you will know these are not very good tacos. Too greasy and meat is very, very questionable. Stay away

So disappointed, they recommend these place, worst tasteless tacos I have ever had, chicharron has no salsa, salt or any favor, barbacoa was just a boil meat with no taste, pastor was dry and burn, tripa was a stinky lather, all sauces same no flavor. Worst of all was the wait almost 45 min to be serve that trash of food. Table in front of us was seated when we arrived and let with no food serve. Were more lucky no to have anything. Please don’t waste your time and money ! Taco Veloz in front of these place, are full of flavor and great service!

Tacos always fall apart because the tortillas are wet with grease every single time, they will always get your order wrong, when you walk inside sanitation does not exist in this building. They never clean the tables off from previous customers, there is always food and trash on the ground. The building this is in looks like its falling apart and 200 years old, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like... Don't recommend going here at all, there are way better options.

The place is not the prettiest it's a little 2 story house turned into a restaurant only reason for not going 5 stars ...but the food always on point and great price and great service no complaints there at all just the place a little rough looking and the bathroom has a window u can see clean into lol but I honestly think this place is getting to popular for its size its a decent size parking lot but not with amount of ppl who frequent here as well as place is big but not big enough for amount of customers sometimes lined up outside

Tacos are always the answer to a stressful day. My tacos were fresh and the Mexican Coca-Cola was nice and COLD. The service was nice and quick and my order was filled to perfection! This place is a must-try!

In all honesty the building has to be tore down, I know they have made enough money over the years to rebuild. Saw roaches while waiting for my food twice, 2 different visits.

I will forever love La Palma because the Horchata is to die for. I wish there were more chicken options instead of shredded chicken, but beggars can't be choosers. Small staple in a Conroe. Always get a large horchata too 🤤

One of my favorite places, delicious tacos 🌮 😋 The flavor has never changed for the las 40 years. Fajita tacos and lengua tacos, are my favorite. I will always recommend this place 👌 😊

This is my worst experience I've gotting getting tacos here. I ordered 13 tacos and only got 12. The meat was over cooked and so was the corn tortillas. We requested all the condiments on the side and did not get anything but red salsa. I called to get the issue resolved and I was told that I was wrong and they would fix the issue. Not to mention the restaurant was dirty. The staff was not friendly. I won't be going to eat here anymore.

If you look up “taco” in dictionary, the definition would be simply “La Palma” They’re original fajita taco on maiz “are-honestly” just the best tacos you could ever get. Forget about location/environment and just get lost in the deliciousness you were lucky enough to find.

Was told about LA Palma by a friend. He was wrong this time, I'm new to Conroe and always looking for a new favorite place to frequent. Couldn't wait to try them. Not good at all. Tacos were dry and the young lady asked if I wanted cilantro and onions on the side, but damn the tacos was straight naked with nothing on it. It really was not what I expected.
